Now how and the hell have I had this forum up so long and not made this post yet?

What are your favorite videogames.
I have several, but I'll list my ultimate favorites:

Favorite Action/Shooter games: Goldeneye, Max Payne, Doom, Duke Nukem, Crimson Skies.

Favorite RPG games: Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 10, Chrono Trigger, Mario RPG.

Favorite Adventure games: The Legend of Zelda A Link to the past, Ocerina of time, Majora's mask, Illusion of Gaia.

Favorite Puzzle games: Grim Fandango, The X files (PS1), Phantasmagoria, Law and Order series, Double Switch.

ULTIMATE FAVORITE: FINAL FANTASY 7!

Well, in no particular order... well, perhaps the order of me thinking of them: F-Zero GX, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Fire Emblem.

Yes, I'm a big fan of Nintendo.

The bolded are some of my fav games too.

I don't care what anyone says, i love Nintendo. Everyone says the Gamecube sucks. I think XBox sucks. None of its games interest me and they're all the same.

Super Nintendo will forever be my favorite system. :wink:

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2)

Donkey Kong Country 2 (SNES)

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 w/ Knuckles lock-on Technology (Genesis)

Goldeneye 007 (N64)

Games like Turtles In Time & Super Mario Bros. 3, NBA Jam TE

Also there's a very underated game, called "Michael Jordan: Chaos In The Windy City" where you are Michael Jordan, and all of your basketball teamates get abducted, and your job is to save them. You destroy basketball headed zombies with a basketball, or special basketballs. The concept is wierd, but it is a very entertaining game.

I love the game "Myst" too

HA!  Yes, I remember that game.  I don't know which one was weirder, that or "Shaq Fu".

Well, I'd say "Chaos In The Windy City" was more wierd, because you're using basketballs to kill giant spiders, giant whistles etc.

Shaq Fu is terrible and shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Chaos in the Windy City.

All you do in Shaq Fu is fight, Mortal Kombat style, against a few opponents, and you beat the game. The fighting isn't even that good.  There's a couple extra moves you can do besides punch & kic, and that's it.

Pretty poopy if I say so myself.

I'm also REALLY fond of the NES & SNES Megaman games.

Particularly MM3 & 4 and X2. Those are definitely my favs. :P

The Megaman X PS2 games suck ass. The ones for regular playstation aren't much better. :?

I didn't say I remembered either game in a positive light.

I haven't played videogames much at all in the last few years, so all of my favorites are older.  Many of them have been mentioned already: FFIII, GoldenEye, the Zelda series (A Link to the Past in particular), Yoshi's Island, Shining Force, Sonic 2, the Tekken series, the Resident Evil series, Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, the list goes on...

Sonic games from 1991-1999.  (After Sonic Adventure, the series died)

Streets of Rage and other cool beat em ups.

Mario Kart DS

Lego Star Wars I & II

Rogue Squadron 3D

Area 51 (Arcade)

Virtua Cop

Mortal Kombat series

Virtua Fighter 2

Shinobi, Ninja Gaiden, and other ultra tough ninja games.

F-Zero GX gives me such a massive headache when I play it.  I had to return it.

Resident Evil: 4 is absolute gold.  The three most recent console Zeldas (OoT, MM, and WW) are all very good, as are the two Metroid Primes.
