LoTHT Awards - Season 2 Edition: Best Female Player (Blue Barracudas)

I went with the team that owned everything: Snakeskin Boots. While Freydis and Annie Oakley were great too, I just feel that the Snakeskin Boots team was a little more dominant throughout their episode.

Wow, this is a hard decision. There were three good teams on this list that all deserve this title: Annie Oakley, Billy the Kid, and Freydis.   I had to take Annie Oakley out of the picture though because the team lost in the temple which was partly their fault. In the end, I chose Tarrah and Chris from Freydis. They just barely edged out Billy the Kid for me. This Purple Parrots team was strong all day, and Tarrah was strong in the temple. It felt like they were the underdog team all day and the temple win was a solid performance. Tarrah really was a trooper for winning. I thought Kelly and Tony were really strong too, but Tarrah's temple win beat out their win. All three of these teams were great though.

This to me, was an easy decision. I knew before I even looked at this topic what I was going to vote for.

I voted for Billy the Kid. Why? Because Kelly and Tony were a dominant team ALL DAY. They were first in the moat, swept the Steps of Knowledge, won 2 pendants in the temple games, and won with 5 seconds left on the clock. They are literally the only team on this show to accomplish all of that stuff. And their temple run was amazing. Kelly and Tony blazed through the whole temple like it was nothing. That to me, makes this the easiest decision in this entire thread/award poll. Freydis doesn't get my vote because Tarrah and Chris were 4th in the moat, and Tarrah moved a little too slow in the temple. And taking one wrong turn made me think they just don't deserve my vote. Lucky there wasn't a temple guard in there. And Leopard Skin Cloak is instantly off my radar. Not taking shortcuts and needlessly placing the King's Storeroom key in an awkard spot doesn't deserve my vote either. This vote was a no brainer.

And I'm not trying to be mean, but really weren't that many strong Purple Parrot teams. There were only three teams (that I can think of) that dominated every round. The Blue Barracudas however, had almost every single team dominate every round. And they didn't even win at all in Season 3. So which team can we all say "nobody else can say they dominated this or that...." when talking about pre temple rounds? I hope you understand what I'm saying.

Kelly and Tony win the best Purple Parrots title. Which is only fitting, because they were Purple Parrot Pwnage all the way through their episode.   

Next up is the worst Purple Parrot team.

I voted for Claude and Marie from Lost Lion Tail. This team was not that good at all and basically got a free pass to the temple. And then they turn around and blow their load. Really though, Claude was the really pathetic one on this team. He did crap in this episode and Marie carried this team. Brian and Gracelyn were another sucky team, but at least they earned their trip to the temple. Claude and Marie pretty much backed into the temple.

Yup, also voted for Lost Lion Tail. Claude just didn't belong on the show.

Thanks for fixing the Harriet Tubman coloring. And on that note and 5 votes, I think we can declare Lost Lion Tail the winner. 

Now for the best Silver Snakes team.

I know this might not be a popular opinion, but I voted for Joel and Dorothy from Enormous Iron Nose Ring as the best Silver Snakes team. Even if the temple run was a little overrated and flawed, this Silver Snakes team was strong all day. First in the moat, first in the Steps, pretty good temple game performance, and they finished with a fast win. Joel was a monster all day too and dominated this whole episode. And his speed in the temple was incredible too. And I honestly don't really have a problem with him aside from people gushing over this win. Henry Morgan and Priceless Portrait's teams were good, but they should've won in the temple. I would've picked one of them if they actually won. The Nose Ring team actually won, which is why they got my vote.

These polls are going by too fast. Seriously, I think only 3 people have voted in the last few polls.

Anyway, I picked the Henry Morgan team. It was tough, but I think they were better all around.

Yeah no offense, but can you please slow down these polls? I think you're long since done with "making up for lost time" for some of the days you missed.

And I voted for Henry Morgan. To me, they were a MUCH better team than Joel and Dorothy, who I always found overrated. Picking them just because they won is a little unfair to me. I just think Shem and Ashley are a better team and deserve more recognition, ladder climbing or not.

Actually, 4-5 people at least voted in every poll. Which seems to be the usual amount of votes that each of these polls get. I never end these polls after only 2-3 people vote in them unless a certain time window has passed. I agree that I have been speeding up these polls a little too much, but I am also aware of the regulars that vote in them. Regardless, I will go back to making one poll a day when Season 3 comes around.

Anyways, it looks like Shem and Ashley from Henry Morgan win the best Silver Snakes title.

I gave Christina and James from Nathan Hale my vote for the worst Silver Snakes team. James was good in this episode, but Christina sucked ass. Especially for the way that temple run ended. They should've easily avoided triple capture, but instead we get a player that completely overlooks the most obvious half-pendant ever even after it was hinted out in different ways.

I also voted for Secret Battle Plan. All the other Silver Snake teams did just fine, but there was nothing special about this team, especially Christina.
