Also, the first day of Season 2 was covered by THK before the database crash. And the final filming day of Season 3 hasn't be covered yet. I think RJF ranked that filming day, but it was also lost in the database crash. I was thinking of covering Metal Beard's filming day next, you can have Ivory Elephant/Tall Turban and Pytheas/Dried Ear of Corn's filming day. ;)

And you're right, Kimberly and Tony did look alike, same skin tone and sort of the same facial expressions. As for Kimberly's temple score, the reason I gave her a "5" is because she was doing fine up until she reached the Trident. If it wasn't for that, I would've given her at least a "6." Also, remember how Derrick was from Minnesota and not a native Floridian? Elizabeth of the Green Monkeys in Poseidon was from Mississippi, according to her player interviews. So she's not the only one that was not from Florida. Yes I actually remember that detail. Speaking of details, I can't believe I remember all the details from Lily Crested Crown either. It's easily one of the most forgettable episodes ever, yet I remember so much from it. Though I've seen it a million times, so that could explain it. :P

Considering "Clovis I" never played on Nick GaS much, I am surprise that you have seen it many times.  :mrorange: I so have to make a GIF of that Silver Snakes dance too. I am sure there were a lot of kids that weren't natives to Florida or the south on the show. It would've been nice if the show told us where more of them came from. Although we didn't know Derrick was from Minnesota until his interview.

And I think I have decided that I will do the Ivory Elephant day next. Now that Missing Eye is part of that day and not Efoua, that should be an interesting day to rank. This is how I remember it:

Enormous Iron Nose Ring: Fun episode with Joel's enthusiasm and Kirk's lame Fogg-up in the temple games. The temple win was pretty overrated, but Joel was still fast. I really don't know what score I would give Joel in the temple yet either. This one would be hard.
Ahmed Baba: What a boring episode and temple win. There was a reason I gave it a 5 in the Legends Episode ranking topic. Honestly, this is probably the least exciting episode that whole day.
Ivory Elephant: Another boring episode, although Brad and Monica were very strong prior to the temple. Too many mistakes in the temple though.  :?
Missing Eye: Another very fun and quirky episode. Four way tie on the second to last step, interesting temple game sequence along with the final temple game, and the temple run had a hilarious ending.

Also, Missing Eye was first of the day. Just wanted to make sure you knew that, with the way you were describing the episodes above. ;) And yeah, this was a pretty good filming day. Missing Eye and Nose Ring were pretty exciting episodes, but I found Tall Turban and Scheherazade boring. Though the latter two episodes do feature that rare "climb up the tubes" temple game. What a coincidence that I just saw both Nose Ring and Scheherazade just recently. I look forward to seeing those rankings. :mrblue: :mrsilver:

Oops, thanks for correcting that. All I remember was Enormous Iron Nose Ring/Ahmed Baba were taped back-to-back due to Joel and Jamie. And speaking of Jamie, it will be interesting to rank her. A lot of people say that she carried her team throughout the episode, but I haven't watched Ahmed Baba in a long time. Not that there was any reason to. But it was pretty cool for two siblings to both win the grand prize. Too bad Levi never had the same opportunity...

Yeah, he totally got screwed over. Levi and Candace definitely should've gone to the temple in Xerxes, that's for sure. As for Jamie, I have her episode ranked, and she has only a 6.75 for me. She struggled a bit in the moat and her temple game, which brought her score down a bit. But I still preferred her to Shane, who only got a 6.6 ranking for me. It's not that they're bad rankings, but they're just average.

By the way TRJ, you should totally make the Silver Snakes dancing in Crested Crown as a GIF. I would love to see it, as ridiculous as the dancing was.

Finally it to work. Even though I recorded it on Gifsoup, I am going to upload it to Photobucket later so it won't lag We should have a thread solely for Legends GIFs. :P

Awesome. And I think we have a GIF thread somewhere. Not on Legends, just GIFs in general. I could be wrong though. But if there's no thread for it, you're more than welcome to start it in the Jester's Court. :P

Anyways, to get back on topic, you can have Ivory Elephant and Pytheas's filming day, and I'll probably do Metal Beard's filming day next. Whenever you get around to doing it, that would be great.

Time for some more rankings, and here is Metal Beard's filming day:

THE METAL BEARD OF THE EGYPTIAN QUEEN

TJ:
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 9
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 8
Tiebreaker: +1
Temple Run: 8
Overall: 8.25

Randy:
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 8
Temple Run: 8
Overall: 7.6

Stacy:
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 9
Individual Game: 6
Team Game: 7
Overall: 7.25

Ryan:
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 8
Team Game: 7
Overall: 7.25

NOTES:

This was a great episode! Every round of this show was close, from the moat, all the way down to the temple run. On the Steps of Knowledge, TJ and Stacy were very smart and answered all their questions for their respective teams. Randy and Ryan also got an answer in there somewhere, so I still gave them a pretty good score. The temple games were a close competition between the Purple Parrots and the Green Monkeys. The Parrots especially had a VERY close call in the last temple game. Randy grabbed the last beard in the last seconds and came right from behind and tied the game up. Now let's get real here, the Purple Parrots totally have a bad track record when it comes to tiebreakers. And this is THE ONLY TIME THEY EVER WIN A TIEBREAKER! Trust me, there are a bunch of episodes that would've been better if Purple won instead. And the temple run was amazing. TJ was very quick and blazed through the bottom floor within a minute. Randy was even faster, and even grabbed the Metal Beard with under a minute left. She took a bizarre route out of the temple, but that should NOT detract from her progress. She made it back to the temple gates with 5 seconds to spare. Great job, very underrated win. I never understood why no one likes this win. By looking at the Green Monkey's scores, they also did a pretty good job and nobody got a below a 6, which is pretty impressive. But, it just wasn't enough to beat TJ and Randy.

THE MUMMIFIED HAND OF THE EGYPTIAN KING

Maggie:
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 6
Temple Run: 7
Overall: 6.6

Josh:
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 8
Temple Run: 8
Overall: 7.4

Alexandra:
Moat: 5
Steps of Knowledge: 6
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 5
Overall: 5.75

CJ:
Moat: 5
Steps of Knowledge: 9
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 7
Overall:  7

NOTES:

This was a decent episode. During the moat, it seemed like all the teams struggled, and it took a while. Even Josh and Maggie kind of struggled, but they weren't as bad as the other teams. The Steps of Knowledge were a double sweep between the Blue Barracudas and the Green Monkeys. I personally like double sweeps, even though it made the round feel very rushed. Kirk was pretty annoying during the temple games. After he asks  if the teams are ready, he loudly (and sarcastically) blurts out "Oh yeah, ME TOO!" And after the Blue Barracudas win the final temple game, there's this weird voiceover where Kirk says "Great teamwork guys!" That's obviously not something Kirk originally said, and he says "I had rocks in my mouth" to the Green Monkeys not long after. I don't know what happened there. :? Not much else to say except Alexandra sucked, and that's pretty much why her team didn't go to the temple. And the temple run.... was pretty bizarre. We all know Maggie dropped her pendant and was removed in only three rooms because of it. It's definitely something I do NOT hold against her, and a "7" is a pretty fitting score for her. Josh was pretty fast, and kudos to him for finding Maggie's pendant. Unfortunately, he made a MAJOR mistake of not following Maggie's bottom path. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but this was a huge mistake of Josh to do and he should've just stuck to the bottom floor. You should never take a different path with less than 2 pendants unless it's shorter. That said though, Josh made great time across the top floor, even though he did eventually get captured with about 50 seconds left on the clock. Methinks it was Josh and Maggie's plan all along to follow across the bottom floor. It was just Maggie couldn't get back on the platform. Good team, just bad luck.

THE LOST TAJ MAHAL TURBAN OF AURANGZEB

Dean:
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 6
Team Game: 7
Temple Run: 6
Overall: 6.4

Chrystine:
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 7
Temple Run: 7
Overall: 7

Jennifer:
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 9
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 6
Overall: 7.5

Chad:
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 8
Team Game: 6
Overall: 7.25

NOTES:

Nothing special about this episode really. It was just an average episode all around. The Steps of Knowledge was pretty close though, and both losing teams answered at least 2 questions correctly. Jennifer of the Purple Parrots was especially smart during the Steps. Both teams did an okay job during the temple games, and the Purple Parrots were pretty strong. But, it just wasn't enough to beat Dean and Chrystine. the temple run wasn't too exciting, and Dean hesitated on many occasions. Chrystine was pretty fast and did well in the minute she had. She did unfortunately, pass up the half pendant though. But the pendant was tacked way too high on the Pit walls, so I don't blame her one bit for missing it. Even if she did find the half pendant, she still wouldn't have reached the Turban with a mere 14 seconds to go. This was not only the last triple capture on the show, but it was done in the shortest time ever. It's funny how the first triple capture "Golden Ship" was finished in the quickest time ever.

THE MELTED HEAD OF MADAME TUSSAUD

Nicholas:
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 7
Temple Run: 5
Overall: 6.8

Jennifer:
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 8
Temple Run: 6
Overall: 7.2

Brook:
Moat: 5
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 6
Overall: 6.5

Brian:
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 6
Overall: 6.5

NOTES:

I don't know if I'm alone on this, but I happen to like this episode. The temple run might've sucked, but the rest of the episode was very exciting actually. The Orange Iguanas did pretty well in the moat, and ended up being first to finish. The Purple Parrots struggled quite a bit on the other hand, and were the last team across. The Steps of Knowledge was yet another close round, it was like any one of these teams could've faced off in the temple games. The Orange Iguanas were pretty smart during the steps, and their final answer was answered by both players, so great teamwork there. The Purple Parrots were pretty smart as well, and I especially liked one of the answered Brook gave. She says "I forget what it's called...." much like Joe's "The tudors or whatever...." answer in Golden Ship. Alas, her answer was still acceptable and enough to join the Orange Iguanas on the final step. The temple games were a close round and featured a unique setup. I especially loved Jennifer's faceplant at the beginning of the third game. But she recovered quickly and won the game for the Iguanas at the last second. Although the final waxed head did miss the bucket because Jennifer threw it in there violently. She threw it in the bin, but it bounced right back out. I'm wondering if that would still count, or if a tiebreaker should've been forced. Even if it did come down to a tiebreaker, the Iguanas were still gonna beat out the Parrots anyways. Since they never have good luck in the tiebreaker, unlike one of the aforementioned episodes. As for the temple run, it pretty much sucked. The layout was exactly like Lost Hornpipe, only they actually had access to the King's Storeroom, and they lost. Nicholas is 100% to blame for why this team lost. He just had no idea what he was doing and he moved much too slowly. While traversing the central shaft is never an easy feat, it should never take you 2:20+ minutes to clear out those rooms. All that hesitation and the little time remaining when Nicholas finally DID get captured is basically why this team lost. Furthermore, I find Jennifer very underrated around here. If it's any player who gets "undeserved hate," it's her. I'm sorry a contestant can't run all the way to the very bottom corner of the temple, reach an artifact, and win in 40 seconds. I happened to think Jennifer did great in the time she had left. She pulled her weight just fine, her only hesitations were in the Pit, and she made it one room ahead of Nicholas. Plus, she almost assembled the monkey in time, which she did in a very effective fashion. She simply did not have enough time to make any reason progress, though a "6" is a fitting score for her. I just don't understand how she's comparable to Dana and Lauren. Who unlike Jennifer, did NOTHING with the little time they had. She had every right to yell at Nicholas, and I don't think she meant anything mal-intended with her shouting. She just sounded overexcited, not downright angry like Dana did. She's certainly not a terrible person she's made out to be and she wasn't clueless or a bad player at all. If Brian from Bent Shaving Pan gets a free pass for not making up for lost time, so should Jennifer. She's by far of the most underrated players ever, and Nicholas was completely to blame for why they lost. Perhaps if Jennifer had gone in first and used the King's Storeroom entry way, this team would've had a much better chance at reaching the Melted Head.

Overall, this was a pretty good filming day. It's funny how 3/4 of the artifacts were middle eastern themed. Even though Metal Beard was the only win that day, none of the episodes were truly bad in any way. And it's much better than some of the other filming days in Season 3.

Well, these rankings were fast. :P I expected you to post them in a week or two. :P Here is my opinion:

EGYPTIAN QUEEN:
We start off with the best episode from that production day and probably one of the best Purple Parrot episodes on the show.  :mrpurple: Egyptian Queen was a very strong episode, and TJ finishes with one of the highest scores so far. The Purple Parrots had some close calls this whole episode, but it was nice to see them benefit from them for once because they got shafted on close calls in the past (Butch Cassidy, Ahmed Baba, and Xerxes come to mind). I am not too fond of team's only winning their team game to force a tiebreaker, but this episode was very competitive that I don't mind making an exception. It was nice for the Purple Parrots to win a tiebreaker too. Even if this is their only tiebreaker win, it was very memorable and TJ and Randy made good of it.  The temple run is veyr solid and I actually like this one more than "Bandit Queen". The temple win was very exciting and both players were solid. TJ was veyr fast and laid out a good path all the way to the Dark Forest. Randy follows behind in moving at a very fast pace herself. She is forced to take the long way to the Shrine, but she climbed up the slide just fine. When she grabs the Metal Beard though, Randy makes the mistake of taking a very long and inefficient way out of the temple. This hurts her score a little too because a bad exit plan can doom a run. See Sir Edmund Hillary, Icarus, and the loser in my avatar. But her temple exit was very exciting and I have to admit that TJ's screaming adds some excitement to the run. It was nice to see the Purple Parrots win the tiebreaker AND win the temple run with it. This was a wonderful episode and falls into my top 20 episode list. This was the Purple Parrots' last temple appearance on the show, and TJ and Randy made good use of it.  :mrpurple:  :mrpurple:  :mrpurple:  :mrpurple:  :mrpurple:  :mrpurple:

MUMMIFIED HAND:
Mummified Hand was a good episode too. I have seen this episode plenty of times. I like how the producers made an episode about an Egyptian Queen and King back to back also.  :mryellow: "The Broken Wing of Icarus" was famous for having a double sweep of the Steps, but it also occurred in this episode too. The legend was pretty lame though and felt like it came out of some cheesy horror movie. And the artifact was creepy as hell. The temple games were very fun in this episode, and featured some pretty close competition. Josh was awesome at his individual game and the Blue Barracuda boy didn't knock down any of his soldiers. Maggie and Alexandra got the boulder swinging game. I swear this is the only time a player complete the boulder swinging game? Although the Green Monkey girl got a lucky break because it seemed like her boulder was swinging everywhere and making it easier to dodge than it was for Maggie. The Blue Barracudas win (two straight temple game losses for Green Monkeys in S3?!). The temple run is pretty exciting for a triple capture. Too bad we never got to see Maggie's potential. I am glad you weren't harsh on her because the whole pendant dropping was just an honest mistake. No player would ever do that on purpose. I would never hold that against her or Ty either. I am also glad you gave Josh a high score too because he did great. He moved very fast and you can't really blame him for trying the upper floor. If he stayed into the Tomb, he probably would've wasted time scaling the entire central shaft. But he also missed the half-pendant at the same time by doing this. He also had one of the fastest Silver Monkey assemblies on the show too. The path was very tough though and I think they would've only reached the Mummified Hand at best. Too bad they lost, but Dark Forest artifacts are always a pain in the ass.

LOST TAJ MAHAL TURBAN:
I will admit that I remember very few things about Lost Taj Mahal Turban. So the summary for this episode might be a little brief. Judging from your rankings though, it looked like the Purple Parrots were both stronger than Dean and Chrystine. I do remember the boulder swinging game from this episode. Really? Did they really have to use the same temple game for all four episodes? Chrystine looked like the better player all day too for the Green Monkeys. This temple run featured another triple capture. I would've given Dean a 5 in the temple though because he was a little too slow and hesitant for my taste. Especially in rooms like the Chamber and the King's Storeroom. I don't have a problem with Chrystine's score though. She did miss the semi-obvious half-pendant. But the half-pendant was tacked up very high in the Pit and she did got back and try to look for it. So it's not like she didn't know it wasn't there. She also had a fast Monkey assembly even though Dean had the base already on. Even if she found the half-pendant, the best the Green Monkeys would've done was reach the Taj Mahal Turban. This temple layout was almost exactly like Imperial Wizard minus the detouring into the Dark Forest. I wish I could write more about this episode, but I have not seen it in ages. :P It wasn't bad though IIRC.

MADAME TUSSAUD:
I like this episode too and I don't see how people make it out to be worse than what it really is. I think Jennifer's shouting gives this episode a bad reputation though. It was above average, but it was still memorable. This episode featured Jennifer's second chance on the show, where she didn't make it past the moat in "Mary Shelley". And surely enough, the Orange Iguanas did make good use of that second chance since they finished first in the moat. The artifact was very creepy and a little too detailed. I know Madame Tussaud worked in a wax museum, but did they really have to use a head for an artifact?   I remember the Steps for the Red Jaguars choking. The Red Jaguar girl got two answers without Olmec revealing any of the answers. Yet they didn't make it to the temple games? Both Nicholas and Jennifer though were answering questions, even in unison. The temple games were fun too, but of course they reused the boulder swinging game and the boulder blocking game. But the boulder swinging game was memorable for Jennifer taking a face plant. Luckily she recovered from it just fine though and the Iguanas still won. The temple run though was very annoying, and that was due to Nicholas' incompetence. I would've given Nick a score of a 4 in the temple run. He wasted so much time pulling on vines and hesitating in the Room of the Ancient Warriors. Plus, he moved like a snail up the central shaft. By the time he got taken out, this team had no chance to win. I don't know how people can harp on Jennifer though. She did great with the little time she had. She cut straight to the King's Storeroom and almost assembled the Silver Monkey. I agree, I don't understand how Brian can get a free pass but Jennifer is always getting criticized? They would've done better if Jennifer went into the temple first! Too bad that wasn't the strategy though. Overall, this episode is definitely not as bad as people make it out to be.

Also, I am pretty sure OlmecFan25 called Jennifer and Elisa (Ivan the Terrible) blabbermouths or something like that in the comment section for this video.    I can't believe anyone would think Elisa was a blabbermouth. Maybe I should leave a comment to tell him to go back and watch Smashed Printing Plate and William Tell and tell me if he still thinks either of these girls had big mouths. Heck, even Jay from Empress Eugenie was guilty of this too.

Here are my overall rankings:

Egyptian Queen >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Mummified Hand > Madame Tussaud > Lost Taj Mahal Turban

There is not much difference between the last three episodes from this day. I would all rate them 6/10. It was still a good day though and there was no real bad outlier episode like other days seemed to have. Which is a good change of pace for once.

Well, I had these cut and pasted from a word document, and I finished these rankings over a month ago. So that explains why this was so quick to be put up. :P I have almost every episode ranked, so I can very easily cut and paste a filming day worth of rankings here in little time. ;)

Yeah, it was great to finally see a Purple Parrot team win a tiebreaker. When they'd otherwise get screwed over like they have in the past. And I can't believe I forgot to talk about TJ's screaming. That was pretty funny to hear, and it also added to the excitement. I also remember Mummified Hand have a lame legend, and another "hand" artifact. I swear, by Season 3, the legends were becoming parody's of themselves. I also remember Josh doing great in his individual game. Though neither team knocked over a column other than the one Josh did. I might have to deduct more from the Green Monkey boy. And the Green Monkey girl did get pretty lucky with the swinging obstacle game. Those games were never really played fairly, except for in Metal Beard and in Melted Head. And yes, this is one of two times where Blue beats Green in the temple games in Season 3. Though this episode came before Gwalior, so this was the first to achieve that. :azn: I agree about Maggie's score too, we really didn't see enough of her due to the pendant drop. And she certainly didn't drop the pendant on purpose, the elastic on the pendant just rubbed off strangely on her. Josh did a great job, but taking a different path than your partner is still never a good idea with less than 2 pendants. If the whole pendant dropping ordeal didn't happen, they would've at least reached the Mummified Hand. But I doubt they would've won.

Yes, the swinging obstacle game was used in all four episodes this day. Though Metal Beard and Melted Head used it as a team game. Lost Taj Mahal Turban and Mummified Hand used it an an individual game, and had all three temple games in common. It got pretty tiresome using the same games over and over. As for Dean and Chrystine, Dean was much slower than Chrystine was. Maybe a "5" would've been more fitting for his temple performance. Chrystine was much faster, and I don't blame her one bit for missing the half pendant. This run is definitely a lot like Imperial Wizard, with slow frontrunner and speedy backrunner, being a boy and girl respectively. And it had the same artifact location and almost the same path. Oh well, they probably could've reached the Turban at the last second if it wasn't for the triple capture. But, who really knows? And it's funny how your description of Taj Mahal Turban was as short as my description of it. It's a rather boring episode really and nothing happens, so I don't blame you there.

And Melted Head is definitely overlooked. I may have to deduct more from Nicholas now that I think about it. The guy was so slow and dilly dallying around, Jennifer was right to be hard on him. This team would've been in much better shape had Jennifer gone in first. Hell, she probably would've won it for the team if she really got lucky with the temple guard layouts and had a solo victory. Then people wouldn't complain about her and call her a bad person. I don't know how Brian gets defended for having little time left. But Jennifer has the same problem and people are too hard on her. That's one player I'm definitely gonna defend should her name pop up in the "undeserved hate" thread.

And hold the phone, OlmecFan25 calls Elisa a blabbermouth?! Did he watch the same run we did? Elisa was both excited AND enthusiastic, AND rocked it in the temple. She had by far the hardest layout in the shows history, and she's being deemed annoying?! You should TOTALLY comment on his video and defend her! I mean, the likes of Jay and Jennifer had every right to shout at their partner. And so did Elisa, there's a difference between shouting words of encouragement, and shouting words of frustration. Not to mention, he was ultra snippy towards Damien in the comment section of the Pytheas video. He was like "You realize you were slower than Brittany, right?" Damien's comeback was "You realize I was 12 back then and everyone lost, right?" I know everyone's got their opinions, but how can anyone complain about Elisa? :?

Was the Egyptian Queen episode the last Purple Parrot tiebreaker? If so, good thing that TJ and Randy got it correct then. Although it would've been much better if it was against the Orange Iguanas. After all those tiebreaker losses in S3 alone like Sir Gawain, Enormous Feather, and the lowly Xerxes, the Purple Parrots were overdue for something to go their way for once.

It always annoys me when the producers used the same temple game too many times in one production day. It happened during the Freydis day where they used the swinging bags game for the first three episodes. But all four episodes using the same temple game? The whole "swinging boulder" game was overused in general for S3 I guess. I shouldn't try and act surprised at all. As for the Mummified Hand layout, that temple layout is kind of overlooked for it's difficulty. Not matter what path Maggie and Josh took it would've required them to enter a lot of rooms. I actually thought it was a good idea for Josh to stay to the top of the temple because if he stayed at the bottom, he would've been forced up the central shaft more likely. He probably figured he was safe from triple capture if he stayed at the top with a full pendant. Heck, I didn't expect this run to end in triple capture when Josh found Maggie's pendant. Too bad, but it was still a very exciting loss.

When it came to Jennifer in "Madame Tussaud" , I never gave her a hard time for screaming at Nicholas. I was more annoyed at Nicholas not getting his act together than worrying about Jennifer's screaming. I bet all the people that give Jennifer a hard time would probably take her as a frontrunner over Nicholas. And I was very surprised that he called Elisa a blabbermouth. I never ever though of Elisa as one. In fact, I enjoyed her enthusiasm. It added a lot of excitement to her episode and run. And it's not like she ever yelled at Travis either. As for Damien, I would never act like that if that was that particular contestant in question. Heck, I don't even mind Damien that much and at least the Orange Iguanas made it one room away from that run. If this was John and Tia though, please feel free to act extra snippy.  :o

Sir Gawain wasn't a tiebreaker loss, Silver Horseshoe and Levitating Dog Leash were though. Either way, the Purple Parrots were definitely overdue for a tiebreaker win. And what a better way to do it than to come from behind and win the third game.

I definitely remember Freydis's filming day using the "swinging obstacle game" a little too much. And of course, Metal Beard's day for overusing the giant boulder game. What is it with the producers and overusing "obstacle" esque games? And total word on ragging on John and Tia, should they ever show their faces on YouTube. As slow as Damien was, at least he made it one room away from his artifact. Plus, he was in the same boat as Chrystine, assembled the monkey in 9 seconds, albeit with the base already in place. So there's something positive, right?

Anyways, I'd be interesting to see how Joel and Shane rank, assuming you still want to do that filming day next. ;)

To revive this thread, I'm gonna review S1L5:

PONCE DE LEON AND THE LOST FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH

James:
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 9
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 6
Temple Run: 5
Overall: 6.6

Jessica:
Moat: 5
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 6
Team Game: 6
Temple Run: 4
Overall: 5.6

Cory:
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 6
Team Game: 6
Overall: 6.25

Elena:
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 6
Team Game: 5
Overall: 6.25

NOTES:

God, this episode was so boring. Literally nothing happened other than the double sweep on the Steps of Knowledge, and the one room away guard in the Heart Room. I really don't have anything to say about this episode, and the rankings could probably do all the talking. Neither team was impressive, especially not Jessica. Who not only got the lowest score out of the above players, but was utterly clueless in the temple. I know she only had 38 seconds left on the clock, but running fast between the same rooms in little time doesn't gain any pity from me.

THE TREASURE MAP OF JEAN LAFITTE

Aaron:
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 4
Team Game: 7
Temple Run: 5
Overall: 5.8

Teri Kay:
Moat: 4
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 6
Temple Run: 4
Overall: 5.6

Rex:
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 6
Team Game: 8
Tiebreaker: -1
Overall: 7

Jacqueline:
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 6
Individual Game: 5
Team Game: 6
Overall: 5.75

NOTES: Another lackluster episode. You know nothing good can come from this episode when 3/4 players had an average of 5. The Blue Barracudas in this episode barely scraped by each round, and they only got to the temple because the Red Jaguars choked at the tiebreaker. And the temple games themselves were pretty one sided. Aaron sucked at his game, and Rex did great. On the other hand, Teri Kay did a decent job in her game, while Jacqueline sucked. The third game wasn't half bad, and it came down to a tiebreaker, where it seemed like all four players didn't know the answer. Now, in THK's rankings, he deducted points on all four players for not knowing the tiebreaker answer right away. Rex I can understand getting points taken off, but all four players? I find that to be pointless. While I'm not gonna add points to Aaron and Teri Kay's scores for winning by default, I'm not gonna deduct points either. The temple run sucked, mostly because both players moved much too slowly, and took different paths. Which is something you should NEVER do with less than 2 pendants. Even if they had progressed further, they would've been caught by three temple guards. Oh yeah, and Teri Kay couldn't assemble the monkey to save her life. Plus, she had to be the shortest contestant in the shows history. If the Red Jaguars hadn't choked at the tiebreaker, they probably would've done a better job in the temple.

THE ORACLE BOWL OF DELPHI

Shane:
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 9
Team Game: 6
Temple Run: 8
Overall: 7.8

Jackie:
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 6
Individual Game: 5
Team Game: 7
Temple Run: 3
Overall: 5.8

Mike:
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 5
Team Game: 6
Overall: 6.5

Jamie:
Moat: 5
Steps of Knowledge: 6
Individual Game: 2
Team Game: 6
Overall: 4.75

NOTES:

Well, this episode was a slight improvement compared to the past two episodes. And it's the first time the Purple Parrots make it to the temple, where they dominated every round. :mrpurple: If it's one positive thing I can say. By looking at these rankings, both male players did great, and both female players sucked. And compared to THK's rankings of these episodes, everyone's scores are a full digit higher than his. Mostly because of the Steps of Knowledge, where Jackie got a "1" just because she never rang in. Jackie may be a crummy player, but I REFUSE to give out a "1" if you don't respond. Jamie also got a low score for the Steps as well. In the temple games, Shane was a BEAST in his game. He got all the way to the top of the watery ramp with 33 seconds to spare, despite the difficulty Shane supposedly had. Though Shane did claim his "strong legs" gave him an advantage of winning. Jamie was pathetic in her temple game though. It was the one where the girls had to put jewel eyes on the pedestals while traversing a soapy field. Jamie spent the entire temple game scrambling to even make it to the first pedestal. Jackie struggled quite a bit too, but at least she got two jewels up, so that explains why she got a higher score. Neither team was impressive in the team game, but it did end in a tie, where the Purple Parrots go to the temple with 2 pendants! The temple run sucked, all thanks to Jackie. Shane was very speedy in the minute he was in the temple. Though I could only give him an "8" for taking the direct path, and for the fact he didn't last very long. The second Jackie entered the temple, the temple run turned into a disaster. She was way too slow and was downright clueless in every room she entered. She didn't even push down on the wall hard enough in the Tomb! She eventually makes it to the Pirate's Cove, where she spent the last 40 seconds not getting the "torch" aspect. Though even Kirk had no idea what the objective was either, so I guess you can't blame her. This definitely should've been reserve order of players. If Shane had gone in second instead of Jackie, they would've had a much better chance at reaching the Oracle Bowl. Overall, it was an okay episode until the temple run.

THE PAINTBRUSH OF LEONARDO DA VINCI

Katie:
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 8
Team Game: 6
Temple Run: 5
Overall: 6.4

Roberto:
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 5
Team Game: 4
Temple Run: 5
Overall: 5.6

Ansie:
Moat: 4
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 6
Team Game: 3
Overall: 5.25

Chris:
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 5
Team Game: 2
Overall: 5

NOTES:

Yet another episode where almost all the players receive sub par scores. The moat for this episode had downright terrible editing. This must've been a very long most pre edit because it kept awkwardly cutting at most random moments. Plus, after Kirk introduces which teams advance from the moat, it shows footage of the teams still crossing the moat instead of the four winning teams just standing around. I hope whoever edited that particular moat got fired. :? The Steps of Knowledge were the best part of the episode. It featured a rare four way tie on the second to last step, which also happened in "The Missing Eye of David." It was only a matter of who rang in first, and in the end, it was the Orange Iguanas and the Blue Barracudas who got to advance to the temple games. While the temple games featured a unique sequence, neither team was very impressive. Roberto and Chris both struggled in their temple game where they had to climb up the ramp and pull down the paint buckets. Though they were dealing with paint, (an aspect of the game I quite liked), so I can definitely see how the ramp would be hard to climb up. Katie did very well in her temple game, where they had to put red X's on the paintings on each side of the playing field. The Blue Barracudas REALLY blew their load in the last game. They just couldn't get a good rhythm down the entire game. So that helped the Orange Iguanas win the temple game, and a trip to the temple in the end. The temple run featured a downright brutal layout. In THK's rankings, Katie got a "3" for the temple run and said she was clueless in the temple. I disagree with that, Katie really wasn't that bad or clueless at all. She did move pretty slow, but their layout was just impossible. The players weren't bad, just the outcome was. And to think, the very same layout was used again in "The Stone Marker of Leif Erickson." Why the production crew would want to repeat a temple layout is beyond me.

Overall, this was a pretty lackluster filming day, and it was the only Season 1 production day that had no wins. Including the episodes (Blackbeard and Belshazzar) that were originally intended to be filmed in S1L1. You will also notice I didn't include Blackbeard in the mix, despite that episode being filmed in S1L5 in its entirety. That's because when THK did these rankings, he started with the intended S1L1 episodes, also including Belshazzar. While Blackbeard is NOT "the first episode ever recorded" that some people like to claim, I wanted to keep the format consistent. Since THK only ranked four S1L5 episodes, I figured I should do the same as well.

S1L5 was such an awful production day. It is literally the only temple layout (not production day) on the show where there are no victories. Most of these episodes were lackluster and bland also. I don't remember any details about any of them except "Oracle Bowl".

Lost Fountain of Youth was definitely a boring and uneventful episode. I remember nothing about the earlier rounds at all either. James also looked like a doofus throughout this episode too. Judging from your score, it looks like the Blue Barracudas were the more consistently good team. James was also a much better player than Jessica too. The temple run was pretty boring and they deserved to lose after taking the path they took. The temple guard layout was unfair, but they didn't know what they were doing. James was hesitant and took the longest way out of the temple. I don't know how anyone could have sympathy for Jessica either. She ran all the way to the Shrine and then backtrack to the Observatory as if the Heart Room opened from that room. Pretty boring and lame episode.

Jean Lafitte was such a crappy episode and the Barracudas worst episode on the whole show. The fact that the Blue Barracudas only went to the temple due to the Red Jaguars ringing in incorrectly was a load of crap. I guess that was revenge for "Alhambra". -_- Which is too bad also, since Rex actually finished with a good score. I hate this temple run also, it was not good at all. Aaron was an alright player, but he wasn't that great though. The Troubled Bridge door getting jammed was a little unfair though. But then Terry Kay enters the temple and she doesn't know what she is doing... at all. She takes a different path than Aaron while holding only a half-pendant. She also moves ridiculously slow and her Silver Monkey assembly was laughable. She probably would've beaten Jessica's record from "Lost Logbooks" for slowest Silver Monkey assembly. It was a bland and boring temple run, and I hate it.

Oracle Bowl was a good episode up until the temple run. For the record, I think your scores are much more accurate than THK's score for both Shane and Jackie. They weren't bad players in the earlier rounds at all. I never give a player a "1" in the Steps unless they are horrible players like the Silver Snake boy in "The Trojan Horseshoe". He did the same crap for Jennifer and Damian from "Map to the Lost Gold Mine" and made them look worser than what they really performed. But you're right, Shane was the much better player. The Silver Snake boy struggled in his individual game and didn't even get his boulder half-way up before Shane got his to the top. The Silver Snake girl sucked in her temple game, and she didn't even get any eyes I believe on her side of the mat. The temple run though is a pretty big fail. Shane was an awesome player, but Jackie was not good at all. She had trouble navigating the Cave of Sighs and couldn't even plow through the wall into the Dungeon. And in the Pirate's Cove, she wasted her remaining time getting lost. Although in her defense, not even Kirk knew what to do in that room for a good 15 seconds and Olmec never explained the objective either. She was a slow player anyways and I don't think they would've won even if Jackie went into the temple first.

Leonardo Da Vinci was another average episode. While it was forgettable, I do remember certain details. The artifact was very lame and they could've done better for Da Vinci. We see a rare 4-way tie on the Steps (happened only in Missing Eye) and a rare Orange-Blue temple game. I do remember the paint bucket temple game also. :P I don't blame the players struggling in the last temple game either. That temple game seemed to give a lot of teams trouble. Like the Purple Parrots in "Golden Chains" for example. The temple run was pretty lackluster, but I don't really blame Katie and Roberto either. I definitely don't think Katie deserved a "3" in the temple. She moved fine and she got held up by the Swamp dead-end. It was pretty lame for the producers to even use that as a dead-end. And even after encountering the Swamp dead-end, the team is forced up the entire central shaft where Katie meets her second guard. Really? Why not let the Heart Room open? Roberto seemed like a lost cause for me though. He put himself into the Wheel Room wheel when the door in the Pit was already open. Oh well, it's not like they would've won anyways. The fact they used this layout for "Stone Marker" was very uncreative and lazy on their parts. -_-

Overall, this was a boring and uneventful production day. None of the teams in any of the temple runs came close to winning. I would rate each of these episodes 5/10 or less. I think we can all thank you though for not doing "Blackbeard". That episode is just unbearable to watch with all of the above. My rankings:

Da Vinci > Oracle Bowl > Lost Fountain of Youth >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jean Lafitte

Yeah, this was a terrible day. I just thought I would compare my rankings to THK's rankings, in which my scores are much higher than his. I remember he gave James a "4" for the temple run, and a "7" to Jessica originally. On the grounds that "she moved fast and that automatically makes her a good player." I think he changed it when you called him out on it and he changed their scores both to a "5." Maybe the next production day I rank will be much better, though I have no idea what I want to rank next.

And you're welcome.
