Henry the 8th's great seal...
« on: August 29, 2007, 02:42:32 PM »
In the Interview with Kirk Fogg, he said some girl threw up in the pit. He said "Sara" but this was 12-15 years ago, he wouldent remember right? He has a life unlike us fans...

Well, today on "Henry The 8th's great seal", the girls name was SHAY (Somewhat close to sara), This girl got REALLY freaked out by the temple guard in the ledges, she THREW that pendant at him.. and when she was taken out of the temple, she SCREAMED. At the end, when you first see her standing beside Kirk, it appears that she is holding her stomach. So.. do you think this may have been the one? ...or do i just have too much time on my hands??

Well technically, in the interview, Kirk said the name Sara as a joking name. But it could be a possibility.

Oh, and mods. Could you move this thread to the Jester's court? or does it belong here?

We don't have an explicit rent-a-mod rule here, but it can still be annoying for us when we have to be told what to do (and incidentally it also has the effect of breaking up a conversation). I'd ask that you trust us into doing the right thing in the future. If we obviously don't, then send a PM our way and any problem will be fixed.

This is definitely a Heart Room topic to begin with, anyway, since it discusses the show directly.

But enough of that! I still believe that it was Missy in the Lucky Pillow due to the bizarre editing when she exits the Pit of Despair that I don't remember happening in any other episode.

EDIT: Ack.. Was it Tarrah or Missy? I forgot which I meant. >_<

I'm starting to go with Renegade's theory now and say it was Cristina from "The Secret Battle Plan of Nathan Hale."

It's since we know the episode order now, but before that, i thought the Battle Plan was the last episode of its day and they put off the Temple Run since they didn't have enough time to film it on the same day as the rest of the show.  So there would've had to have been a better reason to postpone the run.

I used to think it was Tarrah due to that odd change of camera angle while she was leaving the Pit, but it could've just been some editing.  Who knows?

I kinda think it was Tarrah, because of the editing in the pit. (when she opens the laser light room door, it cuts from her turning away from the door to her in the crawl tube).

If it wasn't Cristina, there had to be some other reason the Battle Plan run was put off.  If it was for time, wouldn't they have postponed the Granny Nanny Temple Run instead?

Hmm, I guess it was Christina then, if they had to postpone the run cuz of Christina barfing in the pit of despair. It's either her or Tarrah. IMO I doubt it was Missy or Shay.

I think you mean Tarrah.

And as for my two cents, I also think it was Cristina, mainly because I can't think of any other reason for the Battle Plan's run to be postponed. But then again, seeing as it wasn't the last episode of its original day, it might not be her because of the run(s) filmed after the Battle Plan run was supposed to be.

Remember what Kirk said, though--that they had a "time ruling", implying that they continued directly from where they left off taping. The editing in the Pit during Tarrah's run (thank you) just seems like a give-away.

But Freydis wasn't the last episode filmed on it's day (Charles Lindbergh was), and if I remember correctly, they filmed all of the rounds for every episode one after the other, so there might not have been enough time to clean the pit. Not to mention that the run probably would've been postponed. Saying that, I add "Blackbeard's Treasure Map" and "The Golden Cup of Belshazzar" to the list of possible episodes.

I think it was Missy from the Lucky pillow episode.  She was the most nervous person I've ever seen on the show and it was the last production day for that layout so it's possible.

I don't understand why people think Nick would cancel all the temple runs later in the day if somebody threw up in the Pit. The show has to go on, and the scheduling issues would be too much of a hassle. I seriously doubt they would have postponed any temple runs because of the incident.

Yeah, if she threw up IN the pit, they wouldn't just stop the run.  Or would they?

They'd stop the run, but not end the day--that's all I'm saying.

Hmm, I would think this would actually happen more often.  I mean, the temple is essentially an obstacle course, especially with the layouts that have more actuator rooms.  I mean, this is coming from someone who used to dry heave during the school mile run.
