Gee I sound like the Sims 2 now don't I?

Well, all this talk of schooling and what not got me thinking. Most of us here still have a long road ahead of us and most likely have several goals we'd like to live up to.

So what would you say you are aiming to do with your life?

I myself have been tossing this up since about 5th grade. For a while I thought I wanted to be a lawyer, but then I realized that I just liked the idea of speaking and being the center of attention. I've considered acting on and off, but I doubt I'd make it in LA, nor do I want to leave my town.

So as of right now, I'm thinking of Business Administration. I guess I got a thing for having the title of Admin huh?

Seriously though, I'm planning on going to college for my MBA, beyond that though, I have no idea where I want to go, occupation wise. I figure, once I have that piece of paper with my name on it, I'll have a pretty good idea of where I want it to take me.

Beyond the working world, I also hope to get a few books published, meet a few people, travle and what not.

What about you guys?
Crazy, but that's how it goes.

You don't do nothing you don't wanna do
Be nothing phony about you
Keeping it real and do what you feel
You gotta eat
You gott eat Checkers!

Working on my Bachelor's in Journalism, so in the likely scenario that prizefighting won't lead me to a career, that will likely be where I will roam.

I hope to be an engineer of sorts, for I've built and designed stuff in one way or another every day of my entire life.

...Well, the majority of them anyway. I don't know what I want to work on as a profession within engineering, but that's where I can see myself.

Lots of writers, it seems. Phantom wants to have books published, Piranesi sees himself in journalism, and outer space wants to be a television writer. If this trend continues, it'll be no wonder why we have such a fantastic fan fiction collection in the Treasure Room.

When I was in elementary school I wanted to be a comedian, but then I realized I'm not that funny. Now I want to be an Electrical Engineer.

You and I both. I'm hoping to major in journalism when I head off to college. I've been working on school newspapers since I was in fifth grade, so it seems natural that I should do that as a career path.

Sports broadcasting. Just completed my first year at NESCom here in Maine, do a lot of local stuff for the high-school's TV station, so far no big problems. Tuition isn't even that high this semester. SCORE! :D

If this hadn't panned out the way it has so far, I think I'd just be doomed to a life of multiple careers and likely never finding anything really good :|

I HATED high-school because there was practically nothing they taught me to help me on my way, outside of a few lucky topics. Way our school was... You wanna go to, say... Harvard, Yale? COME RIGHT ON IN! You wanna go to a community college or a place like NESCom? Stand at the back of the line while he keep throwing people ahead of you.

I always wanted to be a sports broadcaster, but i kinda backed off of it after seeing how low the average salary is, unless your with a big company.

Yeah I once heard from a friend - Good work, lousy business.

But in my mind it kinda pays for itself... Company pays for your travel, gas (I'd assume), and you don't have to pay for tickets for the game, food is free probably, and you get paid for it! :p

i would love to be a sports broadcaster, i remember myself always making my own call for each exciting play that happened in the game, or when i would play a video game, i would always call every play.
