Yes indeed. There's not much we can do to stop these sorts of spammers, but if a topic was made for every occurrence of a spam topic, we'd be totally flooded in useless threads. I'd lock a topic like this ordinarily, but since it is a spam forum in itself it is exempted. Nonetheless I trust you to keep this sort of discussion in the Moat in the future. :wink:

I'm on Nicklegends' side in this case. I originally made this forum so people would be free to spam and not feel they had to hold back, but I've gotten a few messages from new members whenever they find a spam bot. Thank you for your concern but there is no need to alert us. So yeah, we can let this stay open.

We all do, but it isn't that big of a deal to me. We can't stop it, so we just gotta do the best we can, which we are.

I TOTALLY AGREE with both of these sentiments:

Yes spambots are real nuisances, and yes there is little that we can do about them because their authors are a bunch of morally bankrupt jerks who don't care about your views on the subject/product that they're trying to peddle. They just force their subject/product upon you.

On the other hand, I GREATLY thank Phantom for making this forum a reality. Without this forum, along with a few other choice sites, I really don't think that the legacy of Legends would be half as great as it is today.

Thank you for those kind words, however, this problem was fixed months ago, and we have not had a spam bot since, thanks to the wise members we have here.

Still, those are some very kind words, and I can't let that go unnoticed. Thank you very much for your loyalty to my forum, and that goes for all of you as well. I couldn't have done it without you all.
