Strange Artifacts.

Which artifacts do you think are strange? Humorous? Have a wild legend attached to them, or are just plain weird.

Mine would be the Golden Pepperoni of Catherine De' medici.

To me, the strangest artifact would have to be The Snow Cone of Mount Kilimanjaro. I mean seriously, a stupid snow cone?? :|

Here is some strange artifacts and legends:

The Plumed Headdress of Cosa Rara: The entire legend of this episode is based around a conversation with a horse! One of the dumbest legends on the show.

The Bifocal Monocle of One-Eyed Jack: This episode featured both a stupid legend and artifact. And then the producers had the nerve to draw an eye in the artifact itself.  :roll:

The Snow Cone of Mount Kilimanjaro: Season 3 did a good job on creating stupid legends, but I think this is the worst one on the entire show! I mean all it is about is creating a dessert from snow. And then the artifact doesn't even look like a snow cone.  :roll:

The Golden Pepperoni of Catherine de' Medici: Okay, its bad enough that they made an episode based on a piece of pepperoni. But then we get names like "The Great Linguini" and Catherine de' Medici had nightmares about it too.  :roll:

The Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu: "You are grounded for two weeks with no TV!" Yeah, I am sure they had TV's back during the Tokugawa era.  :?

The Mystical Spellbook of the Imperial Wizard: Talk about your stereotypical episode. I mean the female characters were named "Wing Ding" and "Ling Ling".  :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll:

Galileo's Cannonball: This legend was good until they brought up how Galileo created pizza by dropping cannonballs from the Tower of Pisa.

The Mummified Hand of the Egyptian King: Another stupid and cheesy legend, along with more lame names to boot.  :roll:

TRJ basically covered them all in his post. The strangest artifacts to me would be The Golden Pepperoni of Catherine de Medici, The Bifocal Monocle of One Eyed Jack, and the Snow Cone of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Those to me were literally just "WTF" artifacts. :roll:

When I was a kid and heard Olmec say "The Melted Head of Madame Tussad" I was all "wtf?! a severed and severly burnt woman's head?"....only to realize later it was a wax bust of Napolean :P

Yeah, that was an unusual and not to mention creepy artifact for sure.  :shock:

I always thought "The Dried Ear of Corn of Sojourner Truth" and "The Dried-Apple Half of William Tell" were strange artifacts. I mean why create an episode around a shriveled piece of food? You couldn't find something else to associate with Sojourner Truth?

"Pecos Bill's Lost Lariat" has to be the most uninspiring artifact though. It was just a piece of rope.  :roll:
