Stupid Trojan Horseshoe!  :x

j/k, I  like that temple win but man is it one of the most forgettable wins on the show. Here are a couple of more similarities by the way:

The Silver Saddle Horn of Hannibal
The Golden Stallion of Ali Baba
- Both episodes featured an artifact in the Shrine.
- Both artifacts were made of a precious metal.
- Both episodes were the second to last episode on their filming day.
- During the temple run, both frontrunners went up the central shaft instead of the Swamp, which screwed the team's chance over at winning.
- Both runs ended in the rooms with the golden doors.

The Priceless Portrait of the Polynesian Girl
The Missing Portrait of Hans Holbein
- Both episodes featured a portrait of some sort.
- Both artifacts were located in the central shaft.
- Both teams beat the Purple Parrots in the temple games.
- Both episodes had a temple game where the player is strapped into the rotating beam game.
- Both frontrunners ran into a temple guard in the Crypt.
- Both teams encountered all three temple guards.

The Bullet-Riddled Handbag of Belle Boyd

- Both artifacts were located in the Room of the Ancient Warrior.
- Both episodes featured the Green Monkeys going to the temple.
- Both Green Monkey teams won two pendants in the temple games.
- Both girls that went to the temple had a name starting with an "L".
- Both teams had to start at the very top of the central shaft and then descend down it.

I think you meant to put "Metal Beard" in purple text, not orange. And the Purple Parrots from Metal Beard were 3rd in the moat, not 4th. And the paths for "Royal Torque" and "Good Luck Watch" were not identical at all. Janeen went straight into the King's Storeroom. Lissy was forced into the Chamber, then King's Storeroom. ;)

Another thing to add to "Royal Torque" and "Good Luck Watch" is that they were both second in their filming day. Plus, both had the same team colors going to the temple in the episode before them. Meaning, Red had a temple appearance ("Roland") before "Royal Torque." And Green had a temple appearance ("Sforza") before "Good Luck Watch." And both runs before them were wins too.

Dang, I didn't realize there were so many similarities between "Queen Boadicea" and "Empress Eugenie". I fixed the mistake about the team's having identical paths and included the detail about the same production days and wins before their respective runs.  ;)

Here are some more that came to mindut of boredom:

The Paintbrush of Leonardo Da Vinci
The Missing Eye of David
- Both episodes dealt with a famous artist.
- Both artifacts were located in the second to last column to the left of the temple (The Paintbrush was in the Tomb of the Ancient Kings and the Missing Eye was in the Shrine.)
- Both episodes featured a rare occurrence where there was a four-way tie on the second to last step.
- Both episodes featured the Blue Barracudas losing to the temple team.
- Both teams traversed almost the same exact rooms (Swamp, entire central shaft, and the top entrance room for both runs. The "Leonardo Da Vinci" kids entered the bottom entrance room too though.)
- Both temple runs ended in the Swamp.

The Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu
The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea
- Both legends dealt with a type of ruler.
- Both artifacts were a prized possession that worn by each historic figure.
- Both artifacts were located in the Tomb of the Headless Kings.
- Both epiodes featured the Red Jaguars in the temple games.
- Both teams went to the temple with two pendants.
- Both temple runs featured each team encountering all three temple guards.
- It was the middle painting that opened the door to the Tomb in both runs.

I fixed the "Leonardo Da Vinci" mistake that you pointed out. I guess that I got it mixed up with "Stone Marker".  :o

Here are some more comparisons while I am at it:

The Imperial Purple Robe of Empress Theodora
The Good-Luck Watch of Empress Eugenie

- Both episodes dealt with an "Empress".
- Both artifacts dealt with an expensive piece of clothing related to each Empress.
- Both episodes were Green Monkey temple appearances.
- Both Green Monkey teams won two pendants in the temple games.
- Both Green Monkey male contestants had a "J" at the beginning of their names.
- Both frontrunner females were taken out in the Shrine.
- Both of the temple runs ended while the second runner was in the room of the artifact.

The Mysterious Manuscript of Mary Shelley
The Dried Apple Half of William Tell
- Both episodes were produced on the same production day.
- Both episodes use the EXACT same temple games in sequence.
- Both episodes feature the Silver Snakes losing in the temple games.
- Both episodes feature the final temple score being 2-0.5, with the tied game coming from the first individual temple game in each episode.
- Both temple teams had a contestant whose name started with an "L".
- Both teams only entered six rooms of the temple, with the secondrunner in each not making any progress.

Sorry for bumping this topic, but there is another similarity that I thought should be mentioned: War Fan of the Forty-Seven Ronin and Thornwood Gavel of Judge Roy Bean. They were both Season Three episodes. The frontrunners in both episodes were male. They took the same exact path, with the second guard appearing in the Room of the Secret Password. In both episodes, the first headdress in the Room of the Ancient Warriors activated the door to the Shrine of the Silver Monkey. Also, both had female second runners who got unnecessarily slowed down en route to where their partner was taken out: Elise had the issue with the door malfunction in the Tomb of the Headless Kings, while Kelly detoured to the King's Storeroom.

Another similarity is between "The War Fan of the Forty-Seven Ronin" and "The Comet-Embroidered Battle Flag of William the Conqueror." Both episodes were Season Three episodes. More importantly, both featured the door from the Pit to the Tomb of the Headless Kings getting stuck shut. Even though it did not impede their run, it did in fact happen when Jonathan ran through the Tomb of the Headless Kings (he pushed the door out of the way as he ran past, and there was enough momentum for the door to swing open and back, and then get stuck closed.

Also, a pretty obvious similarity is between "The Mussel Shell Armor of Apanupac" and "The Comet-Embroidered Battle Flag of William the Conqueror." They both featured the Green Monkeys running in the temple, attempting to reach the Chamber of the Sacred Markers in the Season Three Layout. They shared the same path. And, what I find most hilarious, is that in both episodes, when the door from the Room of the Ancient Warriors to the Chamber of the Sacred Markers opens, Kirk incorrectly says, "He's heading up to the King's Storeroom!"

The Comet-Embroidered Battle Flag of William the Conqueror
The War Fan of the 47 Ronin
- Both frontrunner males had a name starting with a "J".
Jonathan was not a frontrunner. He went in second.

Quote
The Comet-Embroidered Battle Flag of William the Conqueror
The Mussel-Shell Armor of Apanuugpak

- Both frontrunners encountered a guard in the Crypt and were taken out on the bottom floor.
Amanda did not meet a temple guard in the Crypt. She met one in the Tomb, and was taken out in the Dark Forest.

EDIT: And here are the War Fan and Thornwood Gavel similarities that PP4L pointed out. In list format:

The War Fan of the 47 Ronin
The Thornwood Gavel of Judge Roy Bean
- Both were Season 3 episodes.
- Both frontrunners were male.
- Both had the exact same path taken, with second guard appearing in the Room of the Secret Password.
- Both frontrunners were removed from the temple with over a minute left on the clock.
- The first Ancient Warrior headdress activated door in the Shrine.
- Both second runners got caught up in a detour/slow down of some sort.
