I can relate. I wore my Green Monkies shirt and had my hand made Pendant of Life on my arm during it.

You saw my Silver Snake sweatshirt?

Wow! Normally I'm not a big fan of Made for TV Movies, but this was amazing! I feel my 90's version of me kicking in.

Here are all the things I caught.

Actual versions of the 6 animals! (Green Monkey "Mikey" lasts the longest, Purple Parrot only lasts for one second).
Green Monkey Shirt
Kirk Fogg claims to have been in the temple.
Olmec still looks the same.
Galileo's Cannonball was the only artifact mentioned.
Steps of Knowledge
Throne Room
Pit of Despair
Quicksand Bog
Room of the Ancient Warriors
Moat
Lanterns from the Moat
Medusa'a Lair (Four snake version, Tony is not happy)
Shrine of the Silver Monkey! (Still is impossible)
Treasure Room ( ) (At least this one is better than the 90's Treasure Room).
"The Choices Are Yours and Yours Alone"

That's all the main ones I can think of without spoiling the plot to those who haven't seen it.

I'll add a few more....
The timer near the end has the same font as the Temple Run clock
You can see a Blue Barricudas shirt at one point before they enter the Temple
The Helmet
They gave the kids a trip to Space Camp
And my favorite, Olmec saying "Hmmm" at the end

Those were all the things that I noticed when I watched it on Saturday.

Here are three more I'll add...
Kirk's entrance when he swung in on the rope just like he did in season 3
Kirk wearing the same color shorts he did in season 1.
And of course the Pendant of Life looked the same as well as it being broken in half.

The Moat crossings were used before like the wood rafts from the Moccasins and Buddha days. The crossing method from the Annie Taylor day is used as well.

Given the likelihood, will the actual reboot ever happen?

Well, we got a Double Dare revival in 2000 that they kinda butchered, and we got our GUTS revival in 2008 that was complete crap. But then again, we did get the Figure it Out revival that was really good, and the movie was really spot on with a lot of minor details and nods toward the game show, so I'm hoping there's a really good chance of a revival.

It's been almost exactly four months since the TV movie aired and we still haven't gotten an actual revival.   :x

I know.

Guess this might have been a one-time only gig then.

Not sure where to put this one, but since it involves a Legends revival, I'll put it here.

My coworker texted me the other night about how Universal Studios in Orlando was apparently in talks with Nickelodeon about a fantasy camp. By that I mean either a camp or a giant attraction for old school Nickelodeon stuff, where you could participate in GUTS, Double Dare, even Legends. Like that Splat tour they did and showed clips of during commercial breaks during The Splat's programming block. Good Lord I hope it's true.

What I mean is that it has 11 months, 2 weeks, 3 days or 351 days since the Legends movie aired on Nickelodeon and it's still not on DVD. I mean it should've been on DVD by now. Right?

If you mean a revival of the game show that aired in the 90s then no. I prefer the original game show they way they aired it. Though I did watch a cartoon version of Legends on the new episode of The Loud House that aired November 11, 2017.

I obviously have nothing against the original show, but will it not be any good if it were to come back with a new series?
