Worst Team by Season - Day Six: Season 3

[Purple Parrots Fan]

I'm gonna have to vote for the Purple Parrots here, sorry. Just like with Season 1, I can't be bias. They only had TWO temple appearances, and lost 10 temple games this season too. At least the Blue Barracudas had some appearances. The Purple Parrots didn't. They were extremely weak this season, even with the one win they had. I don't know, were the Blue Barracudas really THAT bad this season?

The Purple Parrots would've been my runner-up choice. But at least they had a presence during this season and even a temple win. I remember the Purple Parrots more than I do with the Blue Barracudas. Blue made it to the temple games only 7 times and went to the temple 5 of those times. And it took them 18 episodes to even make it to the temple games too (Mary Shelley). It will be interesting to see what other people post.

Yeah, that was another thing I was gonna mention too. The Blue Barracudas won 5/7 temple game appearances, where all but one were 2 pendant runs. They even won 5 temple game appearances in a row, and lost their only tiebreaker too. But yeah, it took them until the fifth filming day to even advance from the steps. And of course they didn't have a single win. But the Purple Parrots winning only 2/12 temple game appearances was a lot more humiliating in my opinion. Especially since they lost to teams like Smashed Printing Plate, Enormous Feather, Xerxes, etc. I have a feeling it's gonna be a close vote between Blue and Purple, who are otherwise dominant teams.

Red was no prize themselves either. They only made it to the temple four times and won twice. And one of those wins were Roland where even the Bifocal Monocle kids would've won. And we had Smashed Printing Plate where Jason and Dana were incompetent and cheaters. And like Purple, they had a lot of temple game losses too. Especially to teams like Bifocal Monocle, Snow Cone, and Pytheas.

Green was pretty much the only team that was strong honestly. Though we had Orange, with 9 temple appearances, but only one win. So they didn't do particularly well either. And then we had Silver, with 5 temple appearances, and 3 wins. Not to mention, Silver lost A LOT to the Green Monkeys in the temple games in Season 3. I totally agree about Red too.

It's such a toss up between Blue and Purple. Blue made it to the Temple more but Purple at least won 50% of their appearances. Not even the Green Monkeys can say that, even though it was only two attempts.

Gotta go with Blue on this one.

Yeah, because the Purple Parrots are widely known as "the loser team." And they can't even win a "worst team" poll.

I believe I should bring closure to this thread. The Blue Barracudas win the worst team award for Season 3!

Season 3   Blue Barracudas

The first two seasons had closer results than the last season. This is because the first two seasons had multiple teams shine and disappoint. But in Season 3, we could tell that the Green Monkeys were the best team and the Blue Barracudas (and the Purple Parrots to an extent) were the worst team. The Red Jaguars are the only team to win multiple awards, and that is for both worst awards. Purple Parrots are the only team that didn't win one.

Wow, the Red Jaguars won the worst award twice? That's embarrassing. I told you they're a rotten team.

Thanks for hosting this by the way. If I can make a request: Do you think you could rehash the Rate the Teams poll again? Since the old poll is almost two years old, and maybe we can get some newer members perspective. I don't know, it's up to you.
