Best Legends Win - Day Ten: "Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress" vs. "Ahmed Baba"

Welcome to the Legends of the Hidden Temple "Best Legends win" tournament. In this tournament, we are trying to figure out the best win in the history of Legends. Every day I will hold a series of different matchups that will feature two wins on the show. Your job is to pick what episode you believe is the better of the two. After 24 hours. the episode with the most vote will proceed onto the next round.

"The Mussel-Shell Armor of Apanuugpak" beat "The Very Tall Turban of Ahmed Baba" 6-0 in the previous matchup. That means "Apanuugpak" moves onto the next round.

RULES:
- Each matchup will be open for a total of 24 hours. Once that window of time is up, the winner of the poll will be revealed.
- You are allowed to change your vote anytime during the 24 hour window. But the last vote before time is up is the one that will be final.
- All you have to simply do is select which of the two wins that you feel deserves to progress longer.

"THE VERY TALL TURBAN OF AHMED BABA"

This vote is easy for me - "Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress". That run is just a nail biter down to literally the last second of the run. Season one didn't have many good wins, but this one was an exception. Candance started out slow, but David was one of the best boys on the show. Victory looked bleak when he grabbed the Headdress with 27 seconds left. But he hauled ass out of the temple to literally win with one second left! This was a very exciting victory and David had one of the best exits on the show.

"Ahmed Baba" did have a lengthy layout, but Shane was lucky that there was not another temple guard in the path he took. Taking a long path is always costly and has hurt other teams before his episode and after his episode. Plus, it was kind of annoying to listen to with Kirk shouting "Shane" every ten seconds.

"Ahmed Baba" was a pretty decent solo run, but I also voted for "Lawrence of Arabia". It was one of the best runs of the first season, if not the whole series. No contest whatsoever...

I don't know, that solo win never grabbed like the other solo wins of season two. "Annie Taylor" had the exciting temple run from beginning to end with an emotional girl, "Freydis" had the one second finish with a face plant, and "Atocha" had the pendant drop and one of the best males on the show. Although I would probably go with that win over "Enormouse Iron Nose Ring" and "Butch Cassidy". 

But yeah, nothing really tops "Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress".

For me, both runs were nailbiters in their own way.  I remember feeling quite a bit of tension as Shane entered those last couple rooms before the Turban, expecting him to be captured and for Jamie to have to rush in without enough time to finish up.  But I had to go with "Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress" as well, because both players did an amazing job with what had to be Season 1's toughest configuration, making no real mistakes and just edging out an even closer win with only two seconds left.  There were just way too many memorable moments in this run for me to vote "Ahmed Baba" instead.
