Blue's Clues Reboot
« on: July 15, 2018, 08:31:59 PM »
How many of you remember Blue's Clues or have heard about the upcoming reboot? The host obviously won't be Steve Burns or Donovan Patton (aka Joe Burns). This is probably the first time a TV show that jumped the shark gets rebooted (Blue's Clues jumped the shark when Steve left). What are the odds on Legends getting a reboot? Legends didn't jump the shark, did it?

Do you want Hidden Temple Park to become a real world theme park? If you do, please remember to sign and share my petition to make that happen.

I love Blue's Clues. I've been watching it since it first premiered back in 1996. I was sad that Steve left and then after the first episode without Steve and with just Joe I started liking Joe. Now I can't wait to watch more episodes of the Blue's Clues reboot called "Blue's Clues and You!" hosted by Joshua Dela Cruz as Josh the cousin to Steve and Joe. You can watch the first three episodes of Blue's Clues and You! on Vudu or you can wait until it premieres on Nick on November 11, 2019. Also just so you know Blue is once again voiced by Traci Paige Johnson in the new series.

So that means "Steve Goes to College" actually wasn't when Blue's Clues jumped the shark. It was definitely when the clues started drawing themselves. The early Joe episodes (where we see Joe actually drawing the clues) were actually quite good. If you were out of the franchise's target age group during the late 90s and early 2000s when it was popular, you weren't embarrassed about it, were you? I may now be twenty years old, but I'm not embarrassed about liking Legends. What's worse than liking something made for people younger than you is not being thin. Right now I weigh in the 280s at 5'8".
