Rate the Legends Team - Day Six: Blue Barracudas

I gave them a 2, they are by far my least favorite team ever. Every episode they went to the temple (except for Catherine the Great, Napoleon, Montezuma, and maybe Genghis Khan), were terrible. Very rarely did they ever have their act together and a lot of their episodes are some of the absolute worst ever. And when they did win, (excluding Catherine the Great), the layout was way too cheap and unexciting.

So TRJ, your name is in relation to the Red Jaguars, but you gave them a 6? That's odd.

I don't blame you though. I gave them a 5. I like them slightly more than the Silver Snakes, but that's not saying much. This team was pretty mediocre, no offense.

I will admit that part of the reason I picked The Red Jaguars as my username because when I first joined, everyone seemed to have a team color as a username. There was The Purple Parrot (your twin ), The Silver Snake, The Green Monkey, The Blue Barracuda. I don't recall an Orange Iguana name. With that being said, the Red Jaguars finish with a 4.50.

And since we were talking about them, next up is the Orange Iguanas.

I am giving the Orange Iguanas a 2. I am sorry, but this is my least favorite team on the show. They had the most temple appearances on the show, yet most of their episodes are boring or flatout bad. A lot of the episodes I hate are Orange Iguana episodes. They also pretty much dominated every team in order to get to the temple. But there are few episodes I do like - Atocha, Blue Pearl, Nostradamus, and Sir Gawain. Out of 24 temple appearances, that I all I really like. Other than that, a boring team with WAY too many forgettable episodes.

I gave them a 5. They were a cool team, but just about every single episode of theirs had boring temple runs and/or episodes. The only Orange Iguanas episodes I like are Atocha, Dolley Madison, Blue Pearl, Sir Gawain, and Nostradamus. Furthermore, I have little respect for ANY team that dominates another team (in this case, the Purple Parrots) in all 8 episodes that featured that pair. Come on, even the Blue Barracudas got to beat the Orange Iguanas once. Plus, their lose/win ratio is the absolute worst on the show. And this is the team that lost the temple games the least? =/

Man im late!!

I am giving the iguanas a 4. Practically an average team, and having the most temple appearances does not make them the strongest team (if i saw this earlier, i too would give the green monkeys a 9).

So far, I'm the only 6. They're not my least favorite team, but as a Purple Parrot fan, they annoyed me a lot. Still, they weren't bad.

I gave the Purple Parrots a score of an 8. They are my third favorite team on the show after the Jaguars and Green Monkeys, While they have made it to the temple far fewer times than any other temple team, this is part of their charm as it gives them the "underdog" tag. They are the team that definitely had the most bad luck on the show - lost over 30+ temple game rounds, only won one tiebreaker, and never even beat the Orange Iguanas (8 times total). On the other hand, they had very dominant teams that made it to the temple and more than half of their temple appearances featured them with two pendants. It is too bad they didn't make it to the temple more because I would've loved to see them in the temple over other teams (Golden Cricket Cage, Enormous Feather, and Amelia Earhart are just a few). But their very few temple appearances is why they are loved. And they only really have two bad episodes - Little John and Oracle Bowl. And while they only had 3 wins, 2/3 wins are in my top 10 favorite wins (Egyptian Queen and Freydis).

I gave it a 9, for all the same reasons TRJ stated. Gotta stick with the underdogs.

Out of all three Purple Parrot wins (Billy the Kid, Freydis, and Egyptian Queen), which ones do you guys like the most?

I have to say Freydis by far. Very exciting temple ending and one of the few episodes where I don't think the slow runner should be slammed.

Freydis. For it's memorable jump in the Pit and its one second finish. The other Parrot wins are still great though.

I like all 3 wins! anyway, i am giving the parrots a 9! my favourite team, i used to root for them all the time. too bad the less athletic players are always parrots

This needs an update real bad. So the Purple Parrots will finish with a 8.60.
