This is how I see it:
Shrine of the Silver Monkey:It's better to assemble each piece individually and not grab more than one at a time. When players grabbed 2-3 pieces, they would always fumble them around and drop them on the ground. Or had a hard time assembling the monkey. Jarrid and David from "Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress" were the only two who could pull off the multiple monkey pieces.
Tomb of the Headless Kings:Pull all the vines until you see the skull fall. This is kind of tricky though because the room was so darked and cramped, plus other bones fall from the ceiling too, making it harder to spot the skull. But it is better to pull all of the vines as going one-by-one is too time consuming. And don't pull on the same vine either for 10 seconds. (Nicholas and Casey

)
King's Storeroom:If we are talking S2, then definitely smash each pot individually. Once you find the key, then you can just knock the other pots over. Michelle from "Benjamin Franklin" had one of the fastest completions using this method. As for S3, definitely smash all the pots in the center. And do them all at once on top of that. Then once you find the key, you can try each pedestal without any interference.
Dark Forest:
It is always preferable to use the golden doors in the Shrine. Yeah, you might run the risk of being captured by a Temple Spirit. But a shortcut will always save time. Look at temple runs like "Henry Morgan" and "Annie Oakley" when the teams did not use the Dark Forest-Shrine passage. And it is always a better alternative than the slow elevator.
Pit of the Pendulum:Making it back to the platform seems like the better strategy. A lot of teams could've saved time if they made it back to the platform. Like Jared from "Imperial Wizard" and Lissy from "Queen Boadicea". It really did save Tiffani a lot of time in her temple run by her making it back to the platform. The problem with climbing the wall was that the bottom of the Pit was filled with those foam blocks, making it hard to maneuver around. But definitely don't climb the wall when the bottom door is only open. (*cough Olivia cough*)
Medusa's Lair:One snake at a time is always ideal. Just jabbing the snakes into her head just won't cut it at all. I think that what Tony from "Stone Head" was trying to do and that is why he struggled. He didn't take his time at all. No need to rush with two snakes anyways.
Wall Climb/Pit:Jump into the Pit and climb the wall. I see no advantage to climbing the back wall when it was more practical to jump and climb to your next destination.
