Rate the Temple Guard Encounters

I thought I'd take some inspiration from TRJ and try to make a "Rate by Poll" thread. This poll is about Temple Guard Encounters, and hopefully we'll end up finding which episodes featured the runs with the best temple guard encounters. I hope that people are interested in participating and that all goes well.

For this poll, we'll go episode by episode, ranking the temple guard encounters of each run. All polls will be on a 1-5 scale, with 5 being very funny/memorable (or whatever other factors influence your perception of a "good temple guard encounter") and 1 being not funny/memorable at all. The poll will (hopefully) be updated every day with a new episode. I'll average each day's poll when the poll ends, and I'll post a running tally of the results below.

For starters, let's begin with what some people credit as the very first temple run ever, Blackbeard's Treasure Map.

I gave this encounter a 3. Even though there was only one temple guard and it was not extremely memorable, I think that the way Sabrina reacted was pretty funny. She jumped, dropped her pendant on the floor, stood there for a second, and then picked up the pendant and gave it to the guard before continuing on.

I gave it a 3. There wasn't much to the temple guard encounter, but it wasn't the absolute worst one.

I said 3 also. It was just your average Temple Guard encounter.

I gave it a score of a 2. When you think of this temple run, you don't really think much of that lone temple guard. But it was still a more memorable scare than other season one temple guards.

Sorry for the slight delay, everyone! We now have made it to Day Two! Blackbeard's Treasure Map got a rating of 2.75, so now we will be moving on.

This time we will be looking at "Golden Cup of Belshazzar." The temple guards were found in the Cave of Sighs and the Treasure Room.

I gave the encounter(s) a 2. There was nothing special about either temple guard appearance.

I gave the Belshazzar temple guard encounters a 2 also. I kind of remember Katherine running around the Treasure Chest in order to go to the Treasure Room guard, but that was about it.

Golden Cup of Belshazzar ended with a score of 2.00.

Next up with be Galileo's Cannonball, once the poll is opened back up. The temple guard encounters in this episode were in the Throne Room and Shrine of the Silver Monkey.

I don't believe I have that option, even in the "Edit Poll" screen.

I gave the Galileo's Cannonball run a rating of a 3. The temple guard encounters in this episode were average. Although the Shrine of the Silver Monkey encounter wasn't particularly memorable, it was funny when Jennifer tried to go out of the temple with the temple guard via the temple guard's door in the Throne Room.

I also gave it a 3. The Throne Room guard was somewhat memorable, what with having to show Jennifer the way out. But the Shrine guard that removed Jennifer from the temple was nothing special.

I gave the Galileo's Cannonball guards a score of a 4. Mostly due to the Throne Room guard being very memorable and a lot of people remember that one for telling Jennifer to go up. So since it sticks out so much, I gave it a higher score.
