Rate the Red Jaguars Run - Day 20: The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea

Yeah, Jared's Silver Monkey assembly was like 12-14 seconds in the Imperial Wizard run.

And yeah, Tiffani and Jason's performances are no where near identical. Tiffani was a much better contestant than Jason and she made great time with an almost identical layout. If she had the Smashed Printing Plate layout, she would've made it to the Dark Forest with over a minute left. And I don't think she even backtracked in her run? Certainly not Jason did at least. You can see why Dana was shouting at him. But she did shit too even with her little time. I would give this run a 1, but there are certain other Red Jaguar runs that deserve it more than this one. At least Jason and Dana made progress in the temple, unlike Alhambra and Blackbeard's teams.

Tiffani never backtracked once. And going back to retry one of the armors, doesn't count. Jason sucked and Dana did fuck all with what little time she had. Both players were lost causes. Should've been the Purple Parrots. If only they didn't get destroyed in the temple games.

I gave Shaka Zulu a 10! What an amazing and groundbreaking win! It featured one of the best players on the show! Bobby only had to enter four rooms to reach the Mask, and he did it in the fastest time! Never mind that he had a convenient production error, his win alone makes it the best of the best. We shouldn't even be rating Shaka Zulu right now because we all know it will finish with a 10.         

Just kidding, I gave it a 6.  There is nothing great about this win or temple run at all. Bobby was an average contestant that benefited from a production error. Fastest win or not, he got really lucky and probably wouldn't have even won if he took the long way. Compared to most of these runs though, Bobby's win at least had a good outcome. And this win is very memorable for the fastest win too. No way in hell is it as good as Youtube makes it out to be, but I guess it is better than the other Red Jaguar runs...

But really though, Shaka Zulu is not that great of a win, at all. It took Bobby 53 seconds to get to the artifact, and then 53 more seconds to get out with it. That's not fast at all. So I certainly don't know where people get this "he was fast" crap from. I know the Holes of Python isn't an easy room to navigate, but look at how little time it took David from Lawrence of Arabia to escape, taking nearly the same route. Even Jennifer from John Sutter escaped from the temple faster than Bobby did. This definitely would not be a win if Bobby had to take a longer route. In fact, I think giving it a 6 might be a little too generous. Good outcome sure, but still a lame temple run at the end of the day. Why YouTube thinks this is "the best win ever" is beyond me. They have no clue what they're talking about, nor do they have any taste when it comes to decent wins. =/

Yeah, but that was in the wins thread, where we're rating how much we liked whatever win. This is Red Jaguar temple runs in general. Though truth be told, this temple run probably would deserve a 1 too.

Yeah, the only reason it got a high rating was because it was better compared to most Red Jaguar runs. But then again, there is nothing great about it at all. I gave it a 6 though because at least it is run you can't forget. And I'd rather watch a winning run than a completely boring run like Silver Saddle Horn and Attila the Hun.

And don't forget, it's the best win ever. So therefore, it deserves praise just because Bobby finished in the quickest time. Better than John Sutter? Sure, why not. Because if you're a fast payer, you automatically deserve praise. [/n00b]

I gave Montezuma a 6. It was a pretty exciting temple run, but I couldn't really enjoy it due to all the mistakes made by the players. Kevin used the direct path twice and Kelly just couldn't assemble the Silver Monkey if her life depended on it. She didn't even come close. -_- But despite the mistakes, the team still moved pretty quick through the temples and Kelly's struggles with the Silver Monkey was memorable and hilarious. I like how Kirk tries playing it off by saying the Dark Forest tree threw it back to her. I would've given it a higher score if it wasn't for those glaring mistakes.
