Interesting BrainSurge Fact

BrainSurge is actually from the same company that produced Legends.

http://www.stonetv.com/credits.html

Towards the bottom of the page, Legends is mentioned under ''Stone Stanley Credits''.

Maybe I'm going out on a limb, but since BrainSurge has been doing pretty well (it was renewed for a second season), is there some slim chance that Legends could see a revival?

Oh, I knew that already... but that's because Stone removed some BrainSurge clips from YouTube.

About a Legends revival? I still say no. Or if it does come back in some other form (or maybe a direct revival, I dunno...), I doubt it will be in association with Nickelodeon. It doesn't fit in with Nickelodeon's current programming (granted, BrainSurge doesn't either, but at least it has slime, a Nickelodeon trademark).

When Nickelodoen showed Legends in the mornings a few years ago, I think they were testing the market to see if a revival was feasible. But seeing at the experiment was abruptly canceled, I don't think there was enough interest.

We got lucky with the short-lived GUTS revival. But the way I see it, it would take a miracle to revive Legends. A nice dream, but it ain't gonna happen... :(

Stone produces BrainSurge, but the format rights to Legends are believed to currently belong to Stanley.  The two have not worked together since 2004.

Do you have a source on that?

Well, I suppose that pretty much voids the chance of a revival, unless Stanley works with Nick as well. But only if Stone and Stanley are on good terms will that happen.

Yeah, you guys are probably right. While I'm glad BrainSurge is doing alright, it's sad that kids today aren't into game shows. I mean, you look at these classic Nick game shows, and they all combined fun, exercise, and even educational values. Kids could use shows like that today. Really, the only good show left on Nick (besides BrainSurge) is SpongeBob, and mainly the older episodes, when the show still had intelligent writing. Penguins of Madagascar is alright, but other than those I don't watch much on Nick these days.
