Unfortunately, this is going to be my last post for pretty much a while. My Legends' fandom has taken me away from my life. Due to my uncle's death, my failing grades and my gf breaking up with me, it's hard for me to think about Legends as much as I did. I loved coming on this forum and having a blast with everyone. I'm also shutting down the Jesters' Court as well. Right now, I'd like to say something about a few of the members I am really close with on this forum.

Nicklegends- Ed, you have been a great friend and a great mod. You work hard on everything to do what needs to be done.

Purple Parrots Fan- You have been a great friend and it's great we got to talk to each other. You are a true Legends' fan and that is great. I'll miss you very much.

Olmec- Dude, you rock. You know Legends' by heart and that is so awesome! Take care buddy.

outer space- Dude, I wanted to apologize about that Missing Eye of David color combo mishap. I didn't mean to be rude like that. Take care.

Renegade- ... Well, I wanted to apologize for all of the trouble I've caused for you.

And last but not least, Phantom - You worked hard on this forum to get it up and running. It's an awesome forum and by far the best! Keep up the good work and I'll miss you man.

As for everyone else, you guys/girls have been really great to know. I wish you all the best for your Legends' fandom. It's hard for me to leave, but I must. I hope to be back in the future, but for right now, I must go.

Jake: I'm not trying to be imflammatory.  I saw you're going to make a "final post" and say goodbye.  My beef was that there was two and the prior motives I had originally stated.  (The mods determined that an onslaught of "personal tragedies" would lead to a ban on them outright.)

I don't have a problem saying goodbye and thanking friends.  But lurking around and waiting for praise and then commenting on it?  Dude, it's not like you're going to be internetless for a while.  You're LEAVING A FORUM.  The people you met are still there through other means.

Unless you need to validate your friendship with these people you consider such.  How trusting.

And I'm going to close this thread not because of me claiming I have the final word, but because it'll just get done anyway.  Jake said his peace; anyone that wishes to comment on Jake and express sentiments can be done through PM.

Where to start...

First, I don't see any harm in posting this thread. It's a simple notification but worthy of commentary.

Second; Renegade, Jake, you both flamed each other outright; no denying it.

Third, all discussions on the forum could happen through PM, but that wouldn't be efficient at all. If you like the decision one made (in this example, posting a thread about a departure), that's great. If you don't, that's not an automatic free pass to stop others from sharing their opinions. That's like castrating someone you don't like just because they have sex.

Fourth... Okay, can we try starting this topic from the beginning? May I say something?


I've been happy working with you over the past months, and I have no doubt that you'll do just as well outside the Legends fandom as you did within. Take it easy.
