I just got a topic reply email from the old forum, and I checked it out.

Apparently The Bandit King may be having some difficulty connecting here.
Don't know if its his computer connection, internet service or what.
Can I please ask that a Mod or Admin reach out to him on the old forum to see what his problem is.

Hey, I'm fine now. :)
I'm not sure what the problem was, but every time I tried to access or reload the forum between about 11PM and midnight EDT, I got an error message saying the site had been moved. Apparently, PP319 and PPF had the same problem as me. Things seem to be working now, but this may be a problem that warrants inspection...

Yeah, I was having the same problem as well. I kept getting a screen that said "This Site Has Been Moved To A New Server" and it was asking me to clear out my cache. I'm not going to lie, I'm really worried about this place now because of this. :(
Seeing that PPF had the same problem, I wonder how many other users had the same problem. :?:

I bet everyone who was online got it. I did, at least, but that doesn't sound like it would be an isolated bug for just a few members.
-
But not everyone was online and not everyone monitors this place 24/7. If anyone wants me to lock this thread due to it being pointless, I will.
-
I don't think it's pointless. :|
-
Seriously, this could be a bad sign of things to come for us.
-
That's not quite what I meant, I just didn't think it was an isolated issue like a slow connection or a virus might be. I'd really like to investigate, because that was pretty bizarre, but I can't seem to find the URL the main page directed me to... I just know it had something to do with VlexoFree, the site host.
-
Also last night, I kept getting "Connection Interruption" messages. But that was probably just Firefox acting up on me again. And yeah, an investigation (and also another back up possibly) should be in order.
-
It was pretty weird, I'll admit, but I don't think it's a sign of bad things to come. Still, the fact that it redirected us to an apparently nonexistent URL is pretty strange. :?
-
That's quite odd. I'll keep this open so we can monitor the situation.

I'm wondering if this problem is akin to the one we had on forumer where it was redirecting members to malware downloads.
