King Tut's Cobra Staff finishes off with a 7.33. The poll for the next episode, "The Golden Earring of Henry Morgan," is coming up.

Henry Morgan is getting a 9 from me. Besides maybe "The Priceless Portrait of the Polynesian Girl", this was one of the most exciting losses on the show. Both Ashley and Shem were a great team, but they made a couple of mistakes that gave them a less desirable outcome. Ashley never tried the Dark Forest key and Shem could've went straight into the Room of the Mandarin Hand. But reaching an artifact in the center of the temple is still an achievement, and this team put up a good effort. In fact, this temple run is exciting simply for the way it ends. With the clock ticking down, Shem runs straight into the Observatory and has a very fast completion of the stone column, and then grabs the Golden Earring at the last second. Both him and Ashley were excited for even reaching the artifact! So while they didn't win at the end of the day, the ending makes this run very memorable.

Henry Morgan gets a 9 from me as well. This is probably my second favorite loss on the show. The run was exciting and both players knew what to do. Just an all around fun run to watch. :D

My favorite loss is Discarded Seal by the way. I can't wait to get to that run. ;)

We probably won't cover the Ivan the Terrible loss because the team didn't make it to the artifact in that temple run unfortunately. But I don't mind making an exception for that run and maybe the Dragon Lady loss also.

And it's funny that the last four episodes we covered were part of the Nick GaS 20 episode cycle: King Tut, Poseidon, Henry Morgan, and Two-Cornered Hat. And I am pretty William the Conqueror was part of that cycle (our next episode).

King Tut wasn't part of the 20 episode cycle. That episode was hardly ever played at all. So that "streak" is doesn't work.

Anyways, I gave this run a 9. Great run, great players, great ending. That's all I have to say.

Just 3 votes? You'd think this run would get more votes. Maybe this thread is getting a little unpopular? It's definitely time to end this poll a few minutes early. The good news: It gets a solid 9.00 average.

The next run is "The Comet-Embroidered Battle Flag of William the Conqueror." Poll coming up soon.

Actually, four people voted in the Henry Morgan poll: Me, you, PP319, and SGLegendsfan. I guess one them forgot to vote in the actuall poll though? I am surprised this poll didn't get more votes either due to the run in question. But King Tut did get 6 voters, so I wouldn't be bummed out. ;)

Anyways, I gave William the Conqueror an 8. This is the only other failed "center of the temple loss" on the show next to Henry Morgan. The players in this run were great, but even good players make mistakes. Olivia shouldn't have wasted that time playing around in the Pit and Jonathan had no need to try the other suits of armor. Other than that, this temple run is pretty exciting and it was a good effort by Jonathan and Olivia. And reaching an artifact in the center of the room is a pretty good feat for S3. So while they didn't win in the end, both players still put up a good effort and should be proud for even reaching the Battle Flag. I will take this loss anyday over Pytheas, Xerxes, and Robert the Bruce.

Someone must have cast and vote and then changed it and didn't re vote. Because I only got 3 and only 3 votes. :?

And I gave this run an 8, for the same reasons. And yes the title had to be shortened due to the length of the title. ;) And not by choice either, it literally would not fit the entire episode title.

Battle Flag finishes with a 8.16. The poll for the next episode "The Mush Pot Hat of Johnny Appleseed" is coming up.

Johnny Appleseed gets a 7 from me. Even though this temple run is identical to "Sir Edmund Hillary" almost (which I gave an 8 ), I had to give this loss a lower score. It was a pretty exciting loss as far as Orange Iguanas run goes, but I have seen this run many times so it has kind of worn off on me. The ending of this run was exciting and did come down to the wire, but they really should've won. Too much hesitations on both players parts, Angela stalling too much in the Pit, and her not so great exit plan caused this Orange Iguana team to come up short. Not to mention, the Mine Shaft elevator ate some time too. It was an exciting loss, but this temple run is kind of forgettable IMO and the players hesitances wasted a litte too much time for them.

Angela's exit plan wasn't bad at all. It's not like she scaled the entire central shaft downward like Tara did.

Anyways, this run gets a 7 for me. It was a good run, but others were better.
