Time to move onto our final season! This season might be the most interesting due to the number of strong teams and wins.
Rules:
1.) Everyday, I will hold a poll for each of the categories below. You must vote for ONE run to win that category. The run that wins the most votes will win that category.
2.) I will make a separate poll for each category since it might be easier to vote one by one instead of altogether.
3.) Each poll will be open for 24 hours as usual.
4.) If you have a suggestion or discrepancy for any of the categories, just post your thoughts in this topic.
5.) Have fun! You can post your nomination below or just simply vote in the poll.

Time to start off with the best win. :mrteal:
-
Season 3 had a lot of great wins that deserved this title. In the end though, it came down to Pirate Captain and Apanuugpak. I had to go with the one that had "one of the best teams we've ever seen" - Pirate Captain. This win was a very strong victory and Jessica and Jarrid owned everything. Even though their layout was tough and had a production error, they still won handily and the whole run was exciting. It was very rare to see a team dominate it like these two. Apanuugpak was amazing also for Gator alone. That guy tore up the temple and no one can ever top him. The reason why I didn't vote for this one though was because: 1.) I have seen it countless times that it sort of wore off of me. 2.) Amanda was kind of average at best. Both wins are exciting, but I liked Pirate Captain a little more.
-
Honestly, I voted for Apanuugpak. Gator owned everything, and I'd much rather watch this run than Lost Hornpipe. And that run was great too, but Jarrid sort of made the mistake of entering the Room of the Secret Password. That could've been really costly. So therefore, I'm not voting for Lost Hornpipe.
I love both wins, really I do. But seriously:
Gator >>>>>>>>>>>>> Jessica and Jarrid
I don't know, I might change my vote if this poll doesn't expire in the next hour. This was sort of a hard decision, between those two.
-
And Apanuugpak wins the best win title! No complaints from me, this win was all about Gator. I went with Pirate Captain as it was slightly better by a hair in my book. But both wins are great, so I can't complain if either won.
Next up is the worst temple win of Season 3.
-
I gave the worst temple win award to Roland. This is the only win from this season that doesn't impress me. This layout was the "     " layout of Season 3. Yakerra was a average contestant that wouldn't have scored a fast win in any other layout. She really should've beaten Shaka Zulu's record. Some other wins like Sforza and Benzibab had easy layouts too, but those wins were enjoyable to watch at least and had some redeeming points. Roland ranks near the bottom of my list.
-
I also voted for Roland, even though I don't actually hate any of the Season 3 wins. Yakerra was a good player and everything, but she's not as amazing as she's made out to be. And she totally lucked into her win.
-
And Roland wins the worst temple win title.
Next up is the best "Failed Escape" temple run.
-
This was a hard decision. The three runs it came down to were Battle Flag, Queen Boadicea, and Good-Luck Watch. I couldn't vote Battle Flag because both players were responsible for that team losing, even if they reached a center of the temple artifact. It was a good and exciting run, but I had to take it off the list because of Olivia and Jonathan's mistakes. In the end, I voted for the Good-Luck Watch. The temple run was humorous, memorable, and exciting. Between Janeen's temple guards and Jay's screaming, this temple run is entertaining to watch. Plus, Jay was a beast in the temple also. They would've won if Janeen wasn't so hesitant, but it was still an exciting run nevertheless. Queen Boadicea was great also, but I felt Good-Luck Watch was slightly more memorable and exciting. And Lissy wasn't much better than Janeen either.
-
I also voted for Good Luck Watch. Yes Janeen was hesitant, but I find it MUCH more exciting than Royal Torque, a run I don't like to be honest.
-
Well, this one was pretty close. :o Both Empress Eugenie and Queen Boadicea finish with a tie with 2 votes each. William the Conqueror also received one vote also. For right now though, Empress Eugenie and Queen Boadicea will hold the "Best Failed Escape" title.
Next up is the "worst failed escape" run.
-
I voted for Enormous Feather as the worst failed escape run from this season. There is no run that pisses me off more than this one right here. This run would've been an easy win, but Karisa tried hard in every way to screw it up. She moved slow, looked clueless, and stalled way too much. Even Kirk felt that she was screwing around too much. I hate this temple run because of her. Broken Trident is pretty bad too, but at least it is memorable for the no temple guards encounter and the "mishap" by Kimberly. But this run sucked pretty bad too. At least Kimberly though wasn't doing too bad before the temple run...
-
Yeah, I also voted for Enormous Feather. This is pretty much "The Missing Weather Maps of Season 2." Karisa stalled through every single room, and didn't even RUN when she grabbed the feather. Even Kirk and her partner David was pissed at her.
-
I am glad that I am not the only that hates Enormous Feather more than Poseidon. It was amazing that Karisa even managed to reach the artifact. This is probably my most hated Orange Iguanas team on the show too next to Cracked Crown. I can't stand the temple runs where it should've been an obvious win, but the second runner blows their load big time. Alhambra, Lost Lariat, Missing Weather Maps, Enormous Feather, and Oracle Bowl are the runs that come to mind. I can't stand Poseidon either, but Kimberly was doing okay before reaching the Trident. Granted, she moved so slow too and deserved to lose for dropping the artifact. But Enormous Feather is more grating to me.
-
Yeah, Enormous Feather is definitely worse. And Good Luck Watch coloring from blue to green has been fixed in the OP.
-
Karisa and the Enormous Feather win the worst failed escape award.
Next up is the best triple capture episode.
-
I voted for Useless Map as the best run in this category. Jared and Hallie are the only team I can forgive for their triple capture during this season. The other teams brought it among themselves where they missed a half-pendant that they should've found. Meanwhile, the Useless Map team had bad luck with their temple guard placement. Plus, they were the best team out of the rest that had a shot of winning too.
-
I also voted for Useless Map. This is the only triple capture that wasn't entirely the teams fault. The temple guard placement was way too unfair, though it would've helped if Hallie had climbed up to the King's Storeroom. Instead of
taking a direct path entering the Tomb.
-
I considered voting for Mummified Hand, but I thought Useless Map was slightly better. Both were fairly good triple captures IMO, but Mummified Hand was a little flawed. Useless Map had two good players that ran into bad luck. How ironic that both artifacts were in the Dark Forest.
-
Useless Map wins this one unanimously. :mrorange:
Next up is the worst triple capture.
-
I voted for Robert the Bruce as the worst triple capture. This is honestly the only one that I can't stand from this season. Jeremy should've found that half-pendant pretty easily. Plus, this team kind of sucked in the temple too. Especially Jeremy, who stalled way too much with some of his objectives. Even if it was a hard layout, they wouldn't even come close. :|
-
Yeah, also voted for Golden Spider Web, for same reasons.
-
I think we can all agree that Robert the Bruce is the worst triple capture from this season.
Next up is the best team of the best team ever. :mrred:
-
I voted for Kris and Kristin from Catherine the Great as the best Red Jaguars team. They were a team that rocked all day and close out our favorite show in dominating fashion. I really have no problems with them at all. I want to give an honorable mention to Nate and Lissy from Queen Boadicea though. They were strong pre-temple rounds too and came close to a rare bottom of the central shaft victory. But I thought Catherine the Great's team was slightly better. :mrred:
-
This vote was easy, Catherine the Great for me. The rest of the teams don't hold a candle to them at all. :mrred:
-
And Kris and Kristin win the best Red Jaguars team. :mrred: :mrred:
Next up is the worst Red Jaguars team.
-
I voted for JASON GO! aka Smashed Printing Plate. This is the only Red Jaguars team that sucked in their episode. The other 3 teams were good. Even though Jason and Dana swept the temple games, they still weren't that good because Jason cheated in the team game and possibly individual game. And the temple run was just pathetic too. I am sorry, but I don't know how people can stick up for Jason. He was slow, clueless, and kept backtracking. I can see why Dana was yelling at him. And Dana was no prize herself because she did crap in her short time in the temple. What an annoying team.
-
Yeah, I also voted for Smashed Printing Plate, for same reasons as TRJ. Jason is a player I will never feel sorry for, Dana's shouting or not.
-
I know this is kind of early, but I will be gone for the rest of the night and might not have a chance to update it when I come back. Jason and Dana win this one unanimously.
Next up is the best Blue Barracudas team. :mrblue:
-
Wow, the Blue Barracudas had terrible luck in Season 3. I voted for Brandy and Quentin from Red Sash as the best team too. They were a great team all day and almost reached an artifact in the bottom of the central shaft. While they wasted time with unnecessary objectives and hesitating too much, let's not forget that their path required them to enter almost every room of the temple. They did great and their strong performance gives them the vote. :mrblue:
-
It's Ryan and DAWN TRJ, NOT Chris. Fixed in the above poll. ;)
And I also voted for Brandy and Quentin from Red Sash. They were stronger than all the other teams listed.
-
Brandy and Quentin win the best Blue Barracudas team award. :mrblue:
Next up is the worst Blue Barracudas team.
-
I went with Kate and Larry from Mary Shelley as the worst Blue Barracudas team. While they did pretty well before the temple run, their temple performance was a big letdown. Kate moved pretty slow and got removed with not a lot of time, and Larry just plain didn't know how to assemble a Silver Monkey or run. He didn't even come close with the Silver Monkey either.
-
Also voted for Mary Shelley. Larry just couldn't assemble the monkey to save his life.
-
The Monster Monkey wins the worst Blue Barracudas team award.
Now is the best Green Monkeys win. Prepare for a poll with a lot of teams. :afro:
-
Wow, the Green Monkeys had a lot of great teams in Season 3. There are quite a few teams that I wish could win this poll. In the end, I went with the "best team we have ever seen" - Jessica and Jarrid from Pirate Captain. This was an amazing team all day where both players dominated. Their temple run was also a dominating performance and I like how both players owned the temple run. Sure, Jarrid ran into the Secret Password with less than a pendant. But it didn't hurt the final outcome of the run. I love this team.
-
Yeah, I also voted for Jessica and Jarrid from Pirate Captain. So many Green Monkey teams in Season 3, but they are the only team that deserves my vote. They were easily the best team we have ever seen. They owned everything.
-
Yeah, a lot of these teams were great. I wanted to vote for Gator and Amanda, but I didn't think Amanda was amazing. She was really good but the Apanuugpak episode is all about Gator. Travis and Elisa would've been my other vote despite losing. They were very strong all day too. I just felt that Pirate Captain was the most fitting.
-
Yeah, and don't forget how both Jessica AND Jarrid overcame a production error in the King's Storeroom. Since the Pit/King's Storeroom door was blocked of. Their layout wasn't even easy either, having to scale the whole central shaft. But Jessica handled that central shaft like it was nothing. And she still left Jarrid 1:30 on the clock. They were seriously perfect in the temple. The Discarded Seal team was flawless too, but I just feel like the Lost Hornpipe kids deserve it a lot more.
-
And Pirate Captain wins the best Green Monkeys title.
Next up is the worst Green Monkeys team.
-
I voted for the Dried Apple Half team as the worst Green Monkeys team. Lauren and Brett were a sucky team and waste of space inside the temple. Brett was slow and kind of clueless, and Lauren was a horrible second runner. She had a minute to herself and yet she didn't even make it to the room where her partner was removed. -_- Plus, her obnoxious voice makes me cringe when I watch this run. I hate this team and don't sympathize with them... at all.
-
Honestly, I voted for the Marble Armrest kids. While Lauren and Brett were awful too, I thought they were slightly more deserving of entering the temple compared to Pat and Noelle. That team got a free pass to the temple because of their easy tiebreaker question. Then they proceeded to suck ass in the temple without even escaping the bottom floor, something the Benzibab team did with ease. Both layouts were very hard, but I felt that the Marble Armrest layout had potential to be a close win. Dried Apple Half was impossible, so it's kind of understandable why that team struggled. Pat and Noelle had no excuse to blow the run like that.
-
Yeah, what PP319 said. I also voted for Marble Armrest, for same reasons. Noelle and Pat just didn't deserve to be on the show, let alone go to the temple. They were a terrible team.
-
Pat and Noelle from Marble Armrest win the worst Green Monkeys title.
Next up is the best Orange Iguanas team. :mrorange:
-
I went with Tiffani and Jahmel from Sir Gawain as the best Orange Iguanas team. This is honestly their only team I like from Season 3. And no matter how many people call Tiffani overrated, she was a solid runner in the temple and I like her solo win very much. Great first win to start off the season. :mrorange:
-
What TRJ said, also voted for Sir Gawain for same reasons.
-
A lot of mediocre Orange Iguana teams from season 3. I also went with Sir Gawain, although Useless Map was pretty good too.
-
Yeah, Useless Map was good too. It's too bad Hallie and Jared ran into such terrible luck in their temple run.
-
Useless Map and Sir Gawain were the only Orange Iguanas teams from this season that didn't have a total lost cause or slow runner. I want at least 3-4 teams to win the "Worst Orange Iguanas team" title tomorrow, but I think we know which one will win it... ;)
-
Yeah, I think we all know which one will take the title for sure. But, I won't spoil it for anyone. ;)
-
DAMN IT. I accidentally voted for The Bent Shaving Pan of Jedidiah Smith. :P I vote for The Much Heralded Helmet of Sir Gawain.
-
DAMN IT. I accidentally voted for The Bent Shaving Pan of Jedidiah Smith. :P I vote for The Much Heralded Helmet of Sir Gawain.
Do you see a "Remove Vote" button below the choices? I'm pretty sure you can change your vote with that. ;)
-
Yeah, and vote changing IS enabled too.
-
Thanks guys for pointing out the remove vote button. I guess I didn't see it. I'm a total noob :P.
-
Well, now you know. :P
And now this poll has gotten more votes than it ever has. Yay us.
-
And good timing, because I am about to update this before I go to my long ass class tonight. :P And with no surprise, Sir Gawain wins this poll. :mrorange:
Next up is the worst Orange Iguanas team.
-
Poll has been updated, and man do a lot of these teams deserve to win. But there is one specific team that deserves to win, and that is the Bifocal Monocle team. This team was pretty much the Golden Cricket Cage team of Season 3. They sucked all day and their temple performance was a shit fest. It literally took Veronica over a minute to climb out of the Pit. It made Kristen from Lucky Pig look like a pro climbing up the Wall Climb. Plus, she ran into a dead end and retreated back into another one... Thomas was also the only one to ever pull books in the Crypt when he didn't need to. And he ran into Veronica's dead end. What a horrible way to start out Season 3. -_-
-
Yeah, I also voted for Veronica and Thomas from Bifocal Monocle. For same reasons as TRJ.
-
I usually don't do this but since I will be backlogged with other stuff tomorrow, I am going to end this poll now and move onto the Purple Parrots. And with 5 votes, I think we can all agree Bifocal Monocle wins this one.
Next up are the Purple Parrots. Just like with the Season 1 polls, there will only be two choices. We are going to vote for the best Purple Parrots team in that poll. The loser of that poll will be the worst Purple Parrot team then. There won't be two separate polls. ;)
-
I voted for TJ and Randy as the best Purple Parrots team. They were a strong team in this episode AND broke the Purple Parrots tiebreaker curse. Plus, they were both fast runners in the temple too. Even if Randy's exit was a little flawed, she still finished with a reasonable amount of time. This was a strong and exciting Purple Parrots run. :mrpurple:
That means that Henry Hudson wins the "Worst Purple Parrot" title for me. But this does NOT mean Derek and Sherra were a bad team. In fact, they were very dominant before the temple. But given the choices, one of these teams had to win this award. It is more like a filler vote.
-
Yeah, I also voted for Metal Beard as the best Purple Parrot team, and Upside Down Compass as the worst team. TJ and Randy were a solid team, while Sherra and Derek were kind of average. But they're definitely NOT as bad as people make them out to be.
-
Voted for Randy and TJ from The Metal Beard of the Egyptian Queen [Hatshepsut] also.
-
Yeah, this vote was definitely easy. If only the Purple Parrots had more temple appearances.
-
If the Purple Parrots had another temple team that lost in the temple, there is no doubt that they would get that vote over Henry Hudson. As slow as Derek and Sherra were in the temple, they swept both the temple games and Steps of Knowledge. So they really weren't a bad team.
-
But what if those said Purple Parrot teams were better than Sherra and Derek? Then what, would Henry Hudson still get the worst vote? Either way, Henry Hudson definitely wasn't as bad a team as people make them out to be. Even if they did supposedly take a direct path.
-
Time to move onto the next poll. Metal Beard wins the best Purple Parrots team award while Upside-Down Compass wins the worst team award.
Finally, we move onto the best Silver Snakes team. :mrsilver:
-
I voted for Benzibab as the best Silver Snakes team. While their temple layout might've been generous, Kevin and Annie were a great team all day. Plus, finishing with over a minute in the Season 3 temple was no fluke at all. I wanted t o tvote Bandit Queen because Zac was a beast, but Miriam drags this episode down. And they weren't as strong pre-temple rounds as Benzibab either. Kevin and Annie honestly deserve it more than Miriam and Zac.
-
Why are Kimberly and Tony listed twice? :? Fixed in the polls.
-
And I voted for Miriam and Zac from Bandit Queen. I don't care if Miriam was slow, they were a great team. And I love watching their episode and temple run. Annie and Kevin are overrated, sorry. You can crucify me now.
-
In terms of overall team effort, I also voted for the "BENZIBAB!!!11!!111!!" team. I wanted to vote for Bandit Queen, but Miriam wasn't that good, they finished 4th in the moat, and they only won 1 pendant. Kevin and Annie were solid the entire show even with the easy win. So in terms of team value, I went with Benzibab. They were almost flawless.
-
And it looks like BENZIBAB!!!11!!1 wins the best Silver Snakes team vote. :mrsilver:
Next up is the worst Silver Snakes team.
-
I voted for Heather and Casey as the worst Silver Snakes team. They might actually be the worst Silver Snakes team from Season 3! They sucked all day and their temple performance was just... utterly pathetic. They could not get past the Dark Forest in 3 minutes and Heather even tried to cheat by forcing the Dark Forest door open. This team was a waste of space. :? :|
-
Yup, also voted for Snow Cone too. For same reasons.
-
Mt. Kilimanjaro wins the worst Silver Snakes team award.
Next, I am going to make the "All Time Best Legends Awards" using the winners of each category for each season. ;)
-
Okay, I am going to run the same awards like I am doing with Season 2. Just to speed up the process, I am going to update them on a regular basis. However, I will update them at different times so no one is overwhelmed with votes.
First up is the best Red Jaguars male player award. ;) :mrred:
-
I voted for Nate from Boadicea as the best Red Jaguars player. :mrred: He was a dominant contestant all day in his episode, and was a beast in the temple. Lissy didn't leave Nate with a lot of time, but he moved fast a long a hard path and even grabbed the Royal Torque with some time left. I personally thought it was clever of him to take the top route out of the temple. I know Kris from Catherine the Great was another strong contestant that was actually part of a winning effort, but he only lasted three rooms and Kristin was the star of her run. Nate almost escaped with a bottom of the central shaft artifact. Which is why I like him a little better than Kris. ;) :mrred:
-
I also voted for Nate. I don't think highly of this run, but he had more going for him than Kris. ;)
-
I almost voted for Kris because winning, but Nate contributed more so I went with him.
-
Yeah, I almost voted for Kris too. Since he was part of the winning effort, and he was fast. But he only lasted three rooms, so he didn't really have a chance to prove himself. Nate was good too though, and he contributed more to his team.
-
Kris is a solid runner up, lol.
-
Nate wins the best male player. ;) :mrred:
Next up is the worst Red Jaguars male player.
-
I voted for Jason from Printing Plate as the worst male Red Jaguars. He was slow, incompetent, and even a cheater in this episode. I am sorry, but there is nothing redeeming about him. I can see why Dana was shouting at him. -_-
-
I also voted for Jason. He deserves the criticism he gets. Just because he assembled a monkey fast, doesn't make him an amazing player. He was incompetent in every sense of the word, and I don't just hate him because of his cheating in the temple games.
-
Jason GO wins the worst Red Jaguars male player award.
Next up is the best Red Jaguars player. :mrred:
-
I voted for Kristin from Catherine the Great as the best Red Jaguars female. She was a great player and scored the very last win on the show in memorable fashion. One of the best girls on the whole show. :mrred:
-
Also voted for Kristen. :mrred: She's the only Red Jaguar girl on this list that I even like. ;)
-
Kristin wins the best Red Jaguars girl award for Season 3. :mrred:
Now it is time for the worst Red Jaguars girl.
-
I voted for Dana as the worst Red Jaguars girl. Even though she had little time in the temple, she still found a way to suck. She hardly did anything with her little time she had, and she even used the wrong door in the Pit. Plus, her annoying voice didn't do her any favors. Dana and Jason were a horrible excuse of a team.
-
I voted for Dana for being Jason's partner lol
-
Dana, no contest. Both her and Jason were abysmal players.
-
JASON GO! wins the worst Red Jaguars award.
Next up is the best Blue Barracuda girl. :mrblue:
-
I voted for Brandy from Red Sash as the best Blue Barracudas girl. Even though she was hesitant and wasted time by completing the Silver Monkey, she was still a smart player and completed her rooms swiftly. Plus, her layout was confusing and tough anyways. Plus, she made it back to the platform too. The rest of the girls on this list were either average or just didn't last long.
-
Why did you put down boys names? I thought this was about the girls. :? Fixed in the poll.
-
And I also voted for Brandy. The rest were just unremarkable and average.
-
Brandy from Red Sash wins this award! :mrblue:
Next up is the worst Blue Barracuda girl.
-
My vote goes to Kate from Mary Shelley. For someone so excited to be on the show, she really didn't do that great in the temple. She moved slow and hesitated too much. She only left her dumbass partner with 1:18 left on the clock. Even Janeen finished with more time than Kate, and she gets criticized all the time. Although Kate was at least better than Larry.
-
Yeah, I also voted for Kate, for same reasons. I expected MUCH more from someone so enthusiastic. I guess she was just "all show."
-
It looks like Kate is not so great and wins the Blue Barracudas' worst female title.
Next up is the best Barracuda male. :mrblue:
-
I voted for Quentin from Red Sash as the best male player. He was fast and did a good job picking up where Brandy left off. I know he was hesitant and missed the Quicksand Bog door, but he almost grabbed the Sash after a tough layout. I really wanted to vote for Josh from Mummified Hand, but his decision to take the top route with less than 2 full pendants was deadly in the end.
-
Ryan from Pearl Necklace had one N, TRJ. ;) Fixed in the poll.
And I also voted for Quentin. He made less mistakes than Josh, who never should've taken an alternative route with less than 2 pendants. Huge mistake.
-
Quentin wins the Best Blue Barracuda guy! :mrblue:
Next up is the worst Blue Barracuda guy.
-
I voted for Larry from Mary Shelley as the worst Blue Barracuda guy for two reasons:
1.) Monster Monkey
2.) He did not know how to run through the temple.
-
What TRJ said. Voted for Larry for same reasons.
-
Now we are done with the Blue Barracudas! Monster Monkey wins this one with 6 votes.
Next up is the worst Green Monkeys girl.
-
Man, there were a lot of Green Monkeys players in Season 3. And I voted for Lauren from William Tell as my vote. This girl had a minute to herself, and she couldn't even follow-up half-way of her partner's path. That is really pathetic. I don't care how hard that layout was, she had enough time to add a room or two. And her screaming doesn't help her case. TMH was right when he said that she failed as a human being.
-
Honestly, I voted for Noelle. I can kind of defend Lauren because she didn't have much time to herself. Plus, the layout was almost impossible. With Noelle, she half-assed the run completely. Absolutely horrible effort. It shouldn't take that long to clear the bottom floor.
-
Looks like we got another close one on our hands!
-
I was gonna vote for Noelle, but I had to vote for Lauren. There's no excuse to take 57 seconds to get to the top of the Pit, as the second runner. "Not having a lot of time" is no excuse. Lauren was a terrible player. Though Noelle was a poor excuse of a player too.
-
Oops, I vote for the wrong Lauren.
-
I don't know why the "Remove Vote" button always disappears when I update this, but I will count your vote as Dried Apple Half's Lauren when I update it tomorrow. ;)
-
Vote changed enabled, again. You don't have to "just count someones" vote ALL the time, TRJ. You should know that I can just fix the poll by letting someone change their vote. =/
-
Well, I always feel like a burden when I ask someone to update the polls for me. I am not sure why I the button disappears when I update the poll? Anyways, thanks for fixing it for me.
-
Maybe checking the "change vote" doesn't show up for you? It always does whenever I make these polls. Maybe it's just a mod thing.
-
Yeah, I think it is a mod only thing. Right now the feature is available, but tomorrow it will disappear when I reset it.
-
Lauren from William Tell wins the worst Green Monkeys female award.
Next up is the best Green Monkeys female.
-
I voted for Jessica from Pirate Captain as the best female player for the Green Monkeys. She was just simply amazing in the temple and I loved how she destroyed the central shaft. In my book, she is even the best female player on the show.
-
Also voted for Jessica from Lost Hornpipe. She rocked.
-
Jessica
-
Jessica from Pirate Captain wins this one!
Next up is the worst Green Monkeys male player.
-
I voted for Jeremy from Robert the Bruce as the worst male player. He was so slow and hesitant in the temple. Plus, he missed like the most obvious half-pendant ever. I have no sympathy for him at all, even with their hard layout.
-
It's Jay not Janeen TRJ. ;) Poll fixed, as well as the spelling on "Travis."
And I also voted for Jeremy from Golden Spider Web. A little too slow for me.
-
Pat from Xerxes would've got my other vote, but in his defense he had no chance of doing anything significant, even if he sucked with his little time given. Jeremy had two minutes to work with and he didn't do a really good job handling it. And he really should've found that half-pendant.
-
They both deserve votes, but Jeremy was much worse. Plus, the slide for Pat was slicked too much since he was the first player to try climbing the slide after Zac. Probably to make it harder for the kids to climb.
-
Jeremy from Robert the Bruce wins the worst Green Monkeys male award.
Next up is the best Green Monkeys male.
-
Gator from Mussel-Shell Armor gets my vote! Just because he was Gator.
-
What TRJ said! Also voted for Gator for same reasons.
Also, your above "Up next" post and my post in the Season 2 awards thread was literally a second apart.
-
*Votes for Gator, even though he knows Jarrid is going to win*
*Sees Gator sweeping the poll*
My reaction:
I'm happy though. Gator deserves it!
-
I assumed Gator would win honestly.
-
Same here. I knew as soon as the poll was set up, Gator was gonna take this hands down. Not that I'd have a problem with that of course.
-
To be fair though, there were a lot of really good Green Monkeys teams in Season 3. I wanted to vote for Andrea for best GM girl for S3 but I knew Jenny was going to win. I know Jenny was a much more dominant player, but I really like Andrea's Temple run.
-
Wait, Jenny? Don't you mean Jessica from Pirate Captain? Assuming that's what you were going for.
-
OOPS!! Yes! LOL. Silly J names  :P
-
Well to be fair, there WERE a lot of Jennifers on the show. So there's that. ;)
-
And that is also true. PLUS, some Jennifers prefer "Jenny"/"Jenni" and some Jessicas prefer "Jessi"/"Jessy" so there's ALSO that. So yeah, I don't suck, LOL.
-
I am actually not shocked that Gator is winning this unanimously. Everybody loves him, so it is not surprising to see him sweeping these polls. Everybody talks about Jarrid and his mistake in the Secret Password anyways. So I could see contestants like Travis or Jay getting votes before Jarrid. ;)
-
Gator wins the best Green Monkeys award!
Next up is the worst Orange Iguanas girl award. :mrorange:
-
Man, a lot of these Orange Iguanas girls sucked. I REALLY wanted to vote for Karisa because she was just straight up garbage and her loss pisses me off. But then, I noticed Veronica from Bifocal Monocle was on the list and she wholeheartedly deserves this one. This is for taking over a minute to climb in the Pit and then running into two dead ends. -______________-
-
Had to go with Veronica. It shouldn't take a MINUTE to climb out of the pit.
-
Yup, same voted for Veronica, for same reasons.
-
Veronica wins the worst Orange Iguanas award! Karisa still gets a vote too. :P
Next up is the best Orange Iguanas female. :mrorange:
-
I chose Tiffani from Sir Gawain as the best Orange Iguanas contestant. Even though her layout was generous, she did a very good job completing her rooms and dragging that huge ass Helmet out of the temple. She was amazing. :mrorange:
-
Agreed. :mrorange: Also voted for Tiffani. She's the only Orange Iguana player here who deserves any votes. :mrorange:
-
Tiffani was awesome and I feel like she is somewhat underrated.
-
She is underrated sort of. My opinion on her is always changing back and forth. But all in all, I quite like her. ;)
-
She's a really bright spot on a somewhat lackluster list of Orange Iguanas. But she's right up there, a tier under the all stars for me.
-
Tiffani from Sir Gawain wins this one! :mrorange:
Next up is the worst Orange Iguanas guy.
-
I voted for Thomas from Bifocal Monocle as the worst guy. There are a lot of guys on this list who sucked - Brian, Nicholas, Damien, and Judge. But Thomas is clearly the worst. Even if his layout was tricky, this kid sucked and made no progress. He ran into Veronica's dead end and pulled the books in the Crypt. He was the "special" kind of stupid.
-
Also voted for Thomas. Him and Veronica just didn't belong on the show.
-
You know your team is bad when both players win the award for "Worst Player" for their respective genders. :P These two had no business being in the temple.
-
No kidding. I mean, pulling the Crypt books? When the doors are already OPEN?!?!
But then again, both John and Tia won their respective "worst player" polls. So Veronica and Thomas aren't the only ones with that feat.
-
Christina and James from Nathan Hale also won both awards. But James was more of a filler choice. So I don't count that. ;)
I can see a certain Silver Snakes team for Season 3 win both worst awards though.
-
Yeah, I know who you're referring to. ;) But, I won't spoil anything.
-
Thomas from Bifocal Monocle wins this one. Bent Shaving Pan's Brian also got a vote.
Next up is the best Orange Iguanas guy. :mrorange:
-
I went with Mike from Thornwood Gavel as the best Orange Iguanas player. :mrorange: He was amazing in the temple and laid out a great path for his partner. It was unfortunate that Kelli screwed it up though by taking a totally different path and acting clueless. -_- But Mike was awesome and he had the fastest Silver Monkey assembly. Too bad he didn't win in the temple though.
-
Also voted for Mike. He's the only respectable Orange Iguana player on this list.
-
I'm probably the only one who voted for David from Enormous Feather. Don't get me wrong, Mike was good. I just thought David did better (but there's no question that both their partners sucked)
-
We are now finally done with the Orange Iguanas! Mike from Judge Roy Bean wins the best male Orange Iguanas player. :mrorange: I forgot about David from Enormous Feather. He was great also and laid out a nice path for Karisa. Unfortunately, she screwed it up like Kelli.
Now we move onto the Purple Parrots. Just like we did for them in Season 1, we are going to vote for the best Purple Parrot male player. Since there are only two choices, the loser of the poll will be the "Worst Purple Parrot Male Player". ;)
-
Here is my vote:
Best Male Player - TJ
Worst Male Player - Derek
TJ was definitely a solid Purple Parrot player. He was fast and laid out a nice path for Randy in the temple. He definitely deserves this title for the Purple Parrots. Derek is not a bad player, but since this vote is a filler choice, he is the one player that must win this award. Sorry Derek, but you just don't stack up against TJ. ;)
-
Best: TJ
Worst: Derek
Same reasons.
-
Same and same
-
Time to move on! With 6 votes, TJ will be the best male player while Derek will be the worst male player for the Purple Parrots. :mrpurple:
We are now going to do the same thing, but with the girls. ;) :mrpurple:
-
Randy.
-
This is how I voted:
Best - Randy
Worst - Sherra
Randy was a pretty solid contestant, aside from her bad exit strategy. Even then, she still got the job done and it made for an exciting ending. Sherra was strong before the temple, but she was kind of slow in the temple. Not a horrible, but given the options, she is the only one that fits this vote. ;)
-
It's really too bad that we have so few options. Because Sherra in no way deserves a "worst" title. It's just default.
-
Are we ending this and moving on yet?
-
With these results, Randy will win the best girl vote and Sherra will win the worst girl vote. ;) :mrpurple:
Time for the best Silver Snakes award for the male players. :mrsilver:
-
I voted for Zac from Bandit Queen as the best male player. He was simply an amazing player inside the temple. :mrsilver: With that god-like speed, he could've won in almost any layout. Kevin was also a great player too, but I like Zac better. :mrsilver:
-
Went with Zach too. Nobody else really wowed me at all from the Snakes that season.
-
Zac from Bandit Queen wins the best Silver Snakes award! :mrsilver:
Next up is the worst Silver Snakes male player.
-
I went with Casey from Snow Cone. This could was completely clueless in the temple and had no idea what he was doing. He spent two minutes just getting to the Dark Forest alone. A terrible team that had NO business in the temple. -_-
-
I also went with Casey
-
Another Casey vote here.
-
Casey wins this one unanimously.
Next up is the worst female contestant for the Silver Snakes.
-
I voted for Heather from Snow Cone as the worst Silver Snakes player. Most of these players sucked (except Annie), but Heather just didn't belong in the temple. She had over a minute to herself, but does not make any progress. And the Dark Forest door not working is her own fault since she forced the golden door open with her hand. I have no sympathy for her or her team. I hate the Snow Cone run.
-
I also voted for Heather. If Casey gets a vote, she should too.
-
I can't believe I forgot update this one. Just like her partner, Heather wins the worst Silver Snakes girl award.
Finally, we have the best Silver Snakes female award. :mrsilver:
-
I voted for Annie from Benzibab as the best female Silver Snake. Even though she only lasted 3 rooms, she was easily better than almost all of these female players. And she was a good player all day and very fast in her short time in the temple. ;) :mrsilver:
-
I also voted for Annie. The rest were nothing special.
-
It's pretty sad that a player who only lasted 3 rooms gets all the votes. In this case though, Annie was a really good player. f she lasted longer, I am sure she would've been just as fast and successful.
And rewatching the War Fan run again, I felt that Elise was way too slow as a second runner. I do feel sorry for her team for all the time they lost in the Tomb o the Headless Kings, she still took her sweet old time as a second runner. I don't think they would've won even if the production error never occurred. It would've been a failed escape.
-
Yeah, Elise moved much too slowly for me too. I know the production error wasn't her fault, and she's not a bad player. But she literally walked through every room. But yeah, it's interesting how Annie didn't even last long, and she's getting the most votes. If she had gone in second, she definitely would've still won the layout handily. ;)
