Worst Team by Season - Day Six: Season 3

I feel that we need a new poll in this forum, so I have a new idea for a thread. This poll won't take long at all, and will last only for 3 days.  

So what team was the best of each season? Every team had their fair share of shining and shameful moments. Some teams shined more so than others in certain seasons. Who was the best team in each season then? The best team could be one that made it to the temple a lot, won a lot of temple runs during that season, have very dominant teams, etc. For the next 3 days, we are going to vote for the best team for each season.

I voted for the Blue Barracudas as the best team of Season 1. They were the only team that had mostly good temple teams and very few bad ones. They also made it to the temple a reasonable amount of times too during that season, and grabbed the artifact 4 times. Both Map to the Lost Gold Mine and Buddha also featured a team finishing first in every round AND winning in the temple. The only real bad team was Kristen and Scott from Lucky Pig. But that is because Kristen was a lost cause. -_-

I was going to vote for the Silver Snakes for having a lot of great teams - Galileo, Sultan Saladin, Kamehameha, Sir Edmund Hillary, and Great Seal. They also had the most wins and temple appearances too. But I can't vote for them as the best team when they had runs like Golden Cricket Cage, Lost Hammer, and Mata Hari. And wins like Silk Ladder and Davy Crockett were lame.  

Blue Barracudas get my vote.

I'm gonna have to go with the Silver Snakes here. Sure they had atrocious runs like Cricket Cage and Lost Hammer. But they also had the most wins, especially exciting wins like Galileo and Sultan Saladin. The Blue Barracudas did an alright job Season 1, but they only had maybe three good runs, and that's it. And besides John Sutter and Atahualpa, very few of their runs were memorable at all, win or no win.

By the way, are you gonna do "worst team by season" as well? It might tack on an extra three days, but I'd like to see that too.

I was thinking the same thing! And to save time, I will just hold the "Worst Season 1 team" poll after I am done this one. Just so I don't have to do the episode list all over again.

And even that wouldn't take long either. It's just six days, and it'll be interesting to see who truly sucked in which season.

The Silver Snakes in Season 1 were like the Green Monkeys in Season 3. Except they didn't have as many good teams as the Green Monkeys. But still, they had the most wins out of any season for any team. And runs like Kamehameha and Great Seal would've been wins if it wasn't for triple capture. But that sorry as Cricket Cage and Lost Hammer turned me away from them. Those were some really bad teams.

Green Monkeys might've been another choice, except that they only had 4 appearances. But they still grabbed an artifact 3/4 times despite their few appearances.

But they still had runs like Galileo, Sir Edmund Hilary, and Sultan Saladin to make up for it. So thus = easy vote for me.

I WANT to vote for the Barracudas. But looking at that crop of wins, I can't not vote for the Snakes.

The Blue Barracudas were nothing special in Season 1 honestly. John Sutter and Atahualpa is the only thing they had going for them. All the other runs they had were completely forgettable, and they really weren't THAT dominant. I base my vote on how many appearances a team had, how many wins they had, etc. Not bias because of a favorite team. The Silver Snakes getting my vote made the most sense to me.

Well, really NO team was THAT special in Season 1. The Iguanas and Parrots were the ultimate under performers, the Jaguars were mediocre, and that left the Barracudas, Monkeys, and Snakes at the top.

But the Snakes were clearly the better team this season. Way more appearances and wins than anybody else.

And we can move onto our next poll! The Silver Snakes win the best team of Season 1. 

Now, we are going to vote for the "Worst Team of Season 1". Just so I don't have to repost the Season 1 list again.

I voted for the Red Jaguars as the worst team of Season 1. They went to the temple almost as much as the Silver Snakes, yet they only won 2 times. And of course, one of those wins was the piss easy Shaka Zulu. Also, all of their losses are pretty bad too. I mean you have Alhambra and Blackbeard which are disasters. And Golden Ship is the shortest run ever too. The only loss I can tolerate is Golden Cup. Overall, the Red Jaguars were very disappointing during this season despite appearing in 10 episodes.

I know the Orange Iguanas and Purple Parrots were not very successful either. But none of their runs were glaringly bad, and their lack of success is kind of excusable. The Red Jaguars sucked in almost every episode.

I also voted for the Jags. The Iguanas were close behind, but some of these Jaguar runs are iconically bad. Just awful.

I gave it to the Purple Parrots. Sorry, but I just can't be bias. They lost 7/9 temple game appearances and their temple runs were just painful to watch. They only had two temple appearances, and neither of them were wins. How can you guys vote for the Red Jaguars when they had all the temple appearances? Sure all their runs were unimpressive, but at least you KNEW they existed. The Purple Parrots had almost zero temple appearances, and that's completely inexcusable. Even the Orange Iguanas had more appearances than them.

Sorry, but looks like I'm the only person who's going for an actual realistic vote. I voted for the Parrots. Their complete and utter failure is unforgivable.
