The camera fades in to reveal a man standing in front of a large blank screen. ?Hi, I?m Josh Painter?welcome to Clockwork!? he says. The audience is seen cheering briefly before the camera cuts back to Josh, this time with a view of his podium as well.

?Well, hello there!? says Josh as the audience settles down. ?This is the game where getting sloppy and slippery performing some simple tasks can get your big bucks and amazing prizes?sounds pretty easy, right? Maybe our players beg to differ?and let?s meet them, right now!?

A view of a crazily-colored wall is shown, and it spins round to reveal three contestants behind three lecterns which slide out onto the main set. ?Why don?t we get to know a little more about them?? asks Josh as the audience begins to applaud for each player as the camera pans through them.

?Dressed in red is the 12-year old Christine! She loves writing music and playing her electric guitar, but she?ll break it down anytime on the break-dance-floor.

?Dressed in blue is the 13-year old James! He enjoys softball and running track?what a winning combination. We?ll see if brawn can win Clockwork.

?And finally, dressed in yellow is the 13-year old William! He has an addiction to ice and field hockey as well as watching television. Let?s hear it for today?s players!? The audience gets even louder, then quiets down as the camera fades back to close-ups of Josh and the three players.

?So you guys over there?wanna play the game?? asks  Josh. The players shout and cheer in response. ?Yeah! That?s the way to start off a great episode of Clockwork, but first we need to find out about the rules of the ?Beat the Alarm? round:

?I?m going to ask you a question that?s worth $25?buzz in if you think you know the answer. If you get it wrong, then the other two players can buzz in and try, but if it?s correct, then you?ll pick a card on that screen up there?? The screen behind Josh turns on to reveal a bubbly green background with five playing cards embroidered with the show?s logo on them ??and do the stunt on it worth $50. If you?re successful, you?ll keep the bucks and come back for another question?but if not so much, the next question will be worth $75, and whoever answers that correctly gets to steal. This round?s called ?Beat the Alarm? and it?s called that because we?re gonna keep playing until we hear this sound??

An alarm clock starts ringing. ?And we?re going t begin with a $25 question, right now,? continues Josh.

He asks: ?Was ?Baroque? an artistic period, a musical period??

Christine cuts him off: ?A musical period???

?You are correct!? says Josh. ?Put $25 on Christine?s score? and pick a card, Christine.?

?That one?? she says, pointing to the middle card. ?We?re gonna have a look at it,? mutters Josh, grabbing the card printing out of his podium. ?This stunt takes rrrrreal talent? rrrroll it! Come on down here and let?s do the stunt!? A drumbeat plays as Josh leads Christine down the stairs onto the stunt floor.

?This is our first stunt,? explains Josh, ?and it?s called Roll It, and what you have to do is get into that giant hamster wheel and roll across that tank of gak. When you reach the end, turn around and then roll all the way back. Be careful?that slime is stickier than you think, so you really need to move. You need to get there and back in the wheel in 30 seconds or less to get an additional $50 to your score. On your mark, get set? GO!?

The clock starts, the studio explodes with sound and Christine starts rolling the wheel across without much luck?the sticky slime on the ground slows here down greatly. ?I think you?ve got to run faster?? advises Josh, ?noooot much luck getting through the slime today?? [0:18] Christine keeps trying to roll through the goop, but the drum keeps sinking lower into the slime. ?Running out of time?? groans Josh, and a few seconds later a horn blows when Christine is only about halfway across the tank on the first lap.

?OHH!? cries Josh. ?No, no, no? We?re gonna leave that money for later with our next question; that?s just our first stunt?come back for more Clockwork right after this! Oh, man?? The screen switches to a montage of clips, before the logo appears and the screen fades out with the theme music ending in a clock-ticking sound.

The screen reappears with the logo and clips of the first stunt in the background, then fades back to the set and finally a close-up of Josh at his podium.

?Hellooooo!? cheers Josh as the camera zooms in further on him. ?We?re back on Clockwork, and since Christine was not so successful with our first stunt, we?re gonna have a $75 question??

He asks: ?Which of these planets is the most similar in size to Earth: Mars, Venus, or Neptune??

Christine slams down on the buzzer: ?Mars!?

?No, I?m sorry, that is incorrect,? replies Josh. ?Anyone else??

William buzzes in: ?Venus??

?There we go!? says Josh in response. ?William puts himself on the board? and now pick a card please???

?Uh, the one on the right?? mumbles William, pointing to the rightmost card. ?Let?s read it!? shouts Josh as the card drops out into the basket. ?It says: ?it?s icky, it?s sticky, it?s filled with gunk; yes, we?re talking about the tank we use for Slime Dunk!? All three of you, come down here?? Josh waits for the players to reach center stage before he leads them down to the stunt floor.

?Now, William,? explains Josh once the stagehands wheel in a gigantic cylinder of green slime, ?you stand back here with me, and why don?t Christine and James go get set up over there? Now, this stunt is called Slime Dunk, and what?s gonna happen is that William, you need to take a plunger and hurl it across the stage to hit the target. If you do that in 20 seconds or less, you?ll not only win the 50 bucks, but that bench is going to collapse and your opponents will drop down into that tank of lovely green gak today. Sounds good to you??

?YEAH!? William yells into the microphone. ?Well, okay then!? replies Josh. ?20 seconds on the clock! On your mark, get set? GO!?

William picks up a plunger and throws it across the stage, just barely missing his target. ?OHHH!? cries Josh. ?That was soooo close? Well, he?s getting another one and throwing that one as well?? [0:12] William misses the target again, this time not so close. ?With about eight seconds left,? commentates Josh, ?he?s really gonna have to pick up the?? He is cut off as William completely nails the target and dunks his opponents with just one second to spare!

?WHOAAAA!? laughs Josh as Christine and James?both almost stunned?fall into the thick green goo below. ?$50 to William! We?ll get them out of there and come back and continue our ?Beat the Alarm? round?come on back!? William follows Josh back to the lecterns, with the other two return toweling off themselves.

Josh settles down at his podium, gathers his note cards, then starts talking again. ?With one second left, William just? nailed that target, he?s got a mind-jolting score of $125, and we?ve got another $25 question in Round One??

He asks: ?How many zeros would there be in one million??

Time ticks away before James finally rings in: ?Six???

?It?s six zeros, and you have $25!? declares Josh. ?Now, pick a card??

?Uh? the one all the way on the left!? says James. ?Alrighty!? replies Josh as he takes the card from his podium. ?There we go; it says: ?it?s a job that?ll surely please, it?s a chance to be the Big Cheese!? Come on down, it?s time to be the Big Cheese!? Josh waits for James to come from his lectern before they both step down to the challenge floor.

?You?re probably wondering what we?re doing here,? comments Josh as James stares at a vat of white gunk the spotters are pushing in. ?That container is full of cream cheese, and it?s a big, big container? and that?s why we?ve hidden a small shiny pinball inside, all right? You can scoop the stuff out, you can hurl it around the stage?you can do whatever you want inside but you have to find the pinball in 20 seconds or less to win this stunt and pick up 50 smackeroonies, okay? Alright. 20 seconds on the clock?on your mark, get set? GO!?

James jumps into the vat and begins pushing his hands way into the soft substance. ?All right, he?s making his way across?? narrates Josh. ?No pinball there yet? he?s gonna have to move a little faster than that if he wants that $50!? He moves through the left side of the vat, not finding anything there?and now the audience begins counting down. [0:08] James desperately starts using his arms to swipe the cheese out of the vat, but time runs out before he can do anything else.

?OHHH!? yells Josh. ?Okay, your time is up? No pinball in sight, that mean?s we?re gonna come back for a $75 question?? An alarm clock rings for a few seconds before stopping ??no, we?re not. That sound means it?s the end our ?Beat the Alarm? round which means we?re gonna give $25 to William and $25 to Christine. We?re also gonna clean up this mess and come back with more Clockwork after this break, so stick around!? The camera zooms to the audience, zooming in on the Clockwork logo in the mural on the back wall, then fades to commercial.

The screen fades back in to a close-up of Josh talking. ?Hey, we?re back on Clockwork,? he says, ?and we?re now in Round 2 where more money is at stake and more mess can be made in our Super Sloppy Stunts. Our first such stunt is the Showerhead. Now, in our first round we got a little messy, so now I?m gonna let you guys get a little cleaner?the Clockwork way.

?In moments, the showers above each of your heads is going to explode with a barrage of water which you?ll want to catch in your funnel hats. That water is going to spew out of the hoses attached to it, and you?ll want to use that stream to try and hit one of the targets five feet away on that table. The player with the most targets over in 60 seconds is gonna get $100, second place $75, and third place $50. We?re gonna put 60 seconds on the clock? On your mark, get set? GO!?

On his signal, water begins to gush out of the containers, almost knocking William off his feet. ?WHOA!? yells Josh. ?Keep your balance, there? ha? Okay? all right, there goes James?he?s trying his best but there isn?t enough water in there?? None of the players seem to be able to spray down the targets at all, and the weight on their heads making them shake and spill water all over the stage doesn?t help either. [0:33] ?Just? no targets knocked down quite yet?? narrates Josh as the contestants still keep missing. ?I do not believe this! Usually we always get this one done pretty well? but not today? just a few seconds left?.? Just 15 seconds remain now, but yet no one is scoring any hits. ?Oh?? groans Josh, and seconds later a horn blow.

?Okay, your time is up,? announces Josh to the three players as the stagehands roll the containers?still spewing water?out of the way. ?Because no one got any targets down, we have a three-way tie! Put $100 on each of their scores, and why don?t we move down this area??

Josh and the three players walk off-screen, then reappear at three seats. ?This next? uh, game is called ?Balloon Break?, and the balloons in question are filled with gak, and what you want to do is sit down in a seat next to a supply of these gak balloons and heave them towards the containers above one of your opponent?s heads. You can play defense if you want?try to use your hands and block?because the gak is gonna drip down on your head? but also the player with the least balloons breaking in their container at the end of 60 seconds is going to win $100, second place $75, and third place $50. All right?! Okay?here we go! On your mark, get set? GO!?

Luckily, the players have much better luck on this stunt, with William immediately dousing Christine in some sort of orange gak on his first throw?but getting covered in the contents of one that Christine threw back in seconds. ?This is crazy!? laughs Josh, as balloons go flying?occasionally actually hitting players and breaking instead of towards the containers. ?It?s like dodgeball with balloons on Clockwork!? he comments. [0:38] The score is now 4-3-3, but William ties up the score with James shooting a balloon into his basket. ?I have a feeling this is gonna be my new favorite stunt,? utters Josh; now balloons are beginning to miss their targets. ?It?s gonna come down to the wire on this!? says Josh, as the audience begins to count down. [0:12] ?Another one flew right into Christine?s? can she get  stay in this game? Three? two? one? that?s it!? A horn blows on Josh?s last word and the onscreen clock explodes.

?Stop right there, stop right there!? commands Josh, holding back laughter as he walks over to the players who are being helped out of their seats by the stagehands. ?That was just insane? but we?ve got the scores counted up, and the judges say that with just four balloons in his basket, James wins this stunt?with William in second with six and Christine in third with seven! We?re gonna towel y?all off, and then come back and play more Clockwork?how ?bout that?? The audience cheers as the players follow him back up across the stage and to their podiums.

?We?re going into the final round,? explains Josh, ?and things are gonna get heated up in this final speed round?but first: a look at how our players stand! Christine in red currently has $200 saved up?James in blue has $225?and finally William in red? no, yellow, has $300. It?s still anybody?s game, but I?m gonna kick it up a notch with this rapid-fire array of questions round:

?In this 90 second speed round, I?m going to ask a question. If you know the answer, buzz in, and the podium that lights up is who gets to answer. If you get the answer right, that?s $25, but if it?s wrong, just don?t stress?we?ll move onto another question. The player with the most money when you hear this sound?? the alarm clock rings ??is advancing to the Time Twister. Hands on buzzers, and here?s our first question of the round: premiering in 1999, what was this porous ?Nicktoon? called??

Time passes before a bell sounds. ?I do not believe this!? cries Josh. ?It?s Spongebob, believe it or not. Guess no one picked up the clue there? Alright then? which one of these substances is the lightest: water, oil, or pancake syrup??

James buzzes in: ?Oil!?

?$25 to your credit, James!? replies Josh. ?Now can anyone name me a strings instrument??

James rings in first again: ?Uh, a violin!?

?Right again for another 25 bucks!? cheers Josh. ?What is the most widely spoken language in the world: English, Chinese, or Spanish??

Christine hits the buzzer: ?English??

?No, that is incorrect,? says Josh. ?It was Chinese by almost eight times? Alrighty then, how about this question? About how long does it take light from the sun to reach us: eight seconds, eight minutes, or eight days??

James buzzes in: ?Eight minutes!?

?That is correct again!? exclaims Josh. ?You?re on a roll today! But in the popular Shrek movie series, what?s the name of the donkey??

William rings in: ?Donkey??

?Yes, it?s Donkey, that?s all there is to it!? says Josh. ?Okay, how many cookies are there in a baker?s dozen: eleven, twelve, or thirteen??

James buzzes in: ?Thirteen.?

?Correct!? replies Josh. ?Where were the 2008 Olympic Games held??

James buzzes in: ?Beijing??

?This guy is loaded with facts!? comments Josh. ?So you know the city, but what are the five colors of the Olympic rings??

Christine rings in: ?Red, black, green, blue, and yellow???

?Nice job!? replies Josh. ?$25 to you! ?They?re? is a contraction of what two words??

William hits the buzzer: ??They? and ?are???

?That?s right,? declares Josh. ?So? how many lines are there in a limerick??

James buzzes in: ?Five!?

?Another one right for James! This guy is on fire!? shouts Josh. ?Now everyone knows that Russia is the world?s largest country in terms of land space?but what?s the second biggest country??

Christine rings in: ?China??

?No, it?s Canada,? corrects Josh. ?Never mind, try this one: what?s double the freezing temperature of water in degrees Fahrenheit??

Time passes a short while before a bell rings. ?Time is up,? announces Josh. ?Need to work it out fast?it?s 64 degrees Fahrenheit; two times 32 is 64? According to the myth, what does Pegasus have that most horses don?t: is it wings, is it feathers, or is??

James cuts him off: ?Wings!?

?Another question for James! I don?t believe it!? yells Josh in surprise. ?But do you know what kind of figurative language is used in the phrase, ?as sly as a fox???

Christine rings in: ?Uh? a simile??

?Yes, you got it correct!? replies Josh. ?The word lunar usually refers to what spaced-out item: the Sun, the Moon, or??

James interrupts: ?The Moon!?

?That is correct!? says Josh?and an alarm clock rings before he can say any more and the audience cheers. ?Folks, it?s the end of our game today?let?s have a look at how our players stand!

?Christine in red answered two questions correctly for $50, and that brings you to a grand total of $250! James in blue answered a staggering eight questions for $200, bringing you up to an awesome total of $425! William, you need to beat that to win the game? You answered two questions correctly for $50, which brings you up to a grand total of $350?JAMES IS GOING TO THE TIME TWISTER!? Confetti and smoke shoots out from behind James as he jumps up and down in excitement.

?And you?re gonna be playing for thousands of dollars in cash in prizes,? continues Josh, ?but as we move on, we have to say goodbye to William and Christine; you guys played a great game?Brad, why don?t you tell them what they?ve won??

Brad announces the prize:
?Alright, Josh! They?ve each won $100 worth of Blockbuster gift cards! Good for movies, music, and much more at any Blockbuster rental outlet in the U.S.A.!?

We fade back to Josh, now with James standing beside him. ?Now James,? he says, ?it?s usually Clockwork tradition for the champion to slime their opponents with whatever sits up there in those containers above their heads. What do you wanna do?slime them or not??

?SLIME!? yells James into the microphone. ?Alright, then come over here to this lovely little button,? says Josh, leading him over to a small button on the wall, ?and on the count of three, push that button and slime them, okay? One? two? three? SLIME THEM!?

James holds down on the button and the containers above Christine and William drop and bang hard against the wall, releasing a load of chocolate pudding on each of them. ?Beautiful!? comments Josh, as the three podiums begin to slide back into the wall and the whole thing spins back around. ?Thanks for playing guys! And when we come back, we?re gonna find out if James can make it through the Time Twister, right after this!? The audience is seen exiting through a mist-filled doorway marked ?Time Twister? above them. A slow-motion replay of Christine and William?s slimings is shown, then we fade to commercial.

The screen fades back in to Josh and James in a covered arena. ?Welcome back to Clockwork!? yells Josh. ?James made it all the way here with $425?that?s not a bad score at all?and we?re gonna give you a chance to win even more, starting off with the first obstacle of the day, the ?Dunk Your Donuts? obstacle. We have a tunnel of five donuts and in each is a small target. Hit one, a cup of milk will dump down on you, and if you hit all five as you crawl through, you can win this prize!?

Brad announces the prize:
?Hey, we?ll start you off with a $100 iTunes gift card! Good for music, movies, and much more. Just log into the iTunes store and start searching, from Apple.?

?Once you dunk all of those donuts,? continues Josh, ?run on over here to this wall. You?ll do a Leap of Faith up onto that wall and then a Leap of Faith down into the tank filled with whipped cream and chocolate syrup and some other things today. You?ll climb out, and you can move over to the third obstacle but before that, you can win this!?

Brad announces the prize:
?It?s a savings bond from Reebok Athletic Shoes! Life is not a spectator sport because on Planet Reebok, there are NO limitations!?

?You dance well?? asks Josh to James as they walk over to a spinning tunnel. ?Uh? not really,? laughs James. ?Well, you?ll have to learn to dance,? replies Josh, ?and FAST?because number 3 is the Salsa Twirl! Crawl through the revolving tunnel filled with salsa sauce. If you do this quickly, you?ll pick up time and you?ll also pick this up!?

Brad announces the prize:
?It?s a brand new cell phone! The Sony Ericsson W810i includes the Sony Ericsson Walkman feature, a two megapixel camera, plus email and instant messaging support!?

?Next up is the Dairy Farm,? explains Josh, running to a long green plastic container under three large cows. ?We?ve filled our nice container with some milk and ice-cream, I believe. You have to slide under?or slide through?that mess. More milk from above will also drip on you, but get through that, go through the stable at the end, and you have a chance to win this prize!?

Brad announces the prize:
?It?s a Diamondback bike! This all-terrain mountain bicycle come with a lightweight aluminum body and 24 speed combinations. From Diamondback!?

?That bike is good for the mountains,? continues Josh, ?but these are some of the biggest and steepest slopes I?ve ever seen. We?ve got one, two, three mountains and the valleys in between are filled with mud and soil. Cross the range all the way to the other side and here?s the fifth prize!?

Brad announces the prize:
?It?s an Xbox 360 package! Comes with a sleek, shiny new Xbox 360 and two new games! Xbox 360?it?s more fun time from Microsoft!?

?Incy-wincy spider climbed up the Water Spout,? sings Josh. ?Down came the rain and washed the spider out? I hope you don?t get washed out because Obstacle #6 is the Water Spout. Climb the ladder of pipes and try not to stagger when the rain comes down on you, because you want to get up to that platform because you want to win this prize!?

Brad announces the prize:

?It all comes down to this?? reminds Josh. ?The grand finale today is the Sewer Chute! Now, once you get up there, run across the bridge and get into that little shaft there. Inside is a cord which you will pull and open the trapdoors here and there and you will drop into all that gak, slide your way down into our Clockwork pool which is loaded with all sorts of trash and slime. Also down here, we have a nice, comfy Clockwork victory platform. If you can stand both feet on this platform before you hear this sound?? The alarm clock rings on cue ??then Brad, what?s THE GRAND PRIZE?!?

Brad announces the prize:
?It?s an amazing Disney vacation in the Sunshine State! You?ll be going to Walt Disney World, the vacation kingdom with the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom and more! And you?ll be staying at the Contemporary Resort, an official Walt Disney World hotel just minutes away from the fun by monorail!?

?Walt Disney World!? yells Josh animatedly. ?I sure hope you can get through the Time Twister course and we can send you to Disney World, but you?ve got to realize that the Time Twister is not just an obstacle course. It?s bigger, tougher, and meaner than the things you see in military training camps and the ones used by the navy. It bends time and space?here?s how that works:

?The clock?s decided that it?ll give you 85 seconds for today?s course. At the end of each obstacle there?s a question written on a podium. They?re all multiple-choice, and you must make your choice using the two buzzers before you move on to the next obstacle. For each question you get right, I?m gonna give you fifty bucks, but if you get it wrong, we?re gonna take away five seconds from the time remaining at that point. You?re going to keep running until we hear the alarm. Are you ready, James??

?I?m so ready,? says James through his mouthpiece. ?Well, then let?s get this thing started, shall we?!? shouts Josh in response. ?Let?s get 85 seconds on the clock! On your mark, get set? GOOOOOO!?

James does a headfirst dive into the first donut, crawling through them with good speed. ?There goes James!? begins Josh after catching his breath from the kick-off. ?He?s doing a great job so far! We?re down to 79 seconds and our first question!? Upon being met by a podium that reads, ?On what continent can you find the South Pole: Africa or Antarctica??, he slams down on the second buzzer and moves on to the Leap of Faith. James takes a fantastic running jumps and catches his hands on the handlebar at the top of the wall and pulls himself all the way up. [0:67] ?He?s making great time so far,? comments Josh, ?and, BOOM! Right into the whipped cream? He?s got to regain himself and get out!? James climbs over the edge of the vat and hits the ground feet first.

Running over to the question panel, he rips off the tarp and stares at the second question: ?Dolly the Sheep was the first what: circus animal or cloned animal?? James hits the second button, then races over to the Salsa Twirl tunnel several feet away. [0:55] ?He?s making great time, folks,? says Josh, ?and if he can keep up this pace, we might just have a winner today?well, we always wanna see a winner. Through the tunnel?NICE JOB!? James is determined to get through the ten-foot tunnel with all the speed he has and barrels right through. He emerges with his face covered in red gak, but uncovers the third question, ??which says: ?who came first: Theodore Roosevelt or Franklin Roosevelt??? reads Josh. ?He?s going for the first one which is correct; remember?he answered eight questions in the speed round!? James runs over to the Dairy Farm and takes a run-up before diving headfirst slip-and-slide style down the pathway. ?Whoa, what a mess that was!? comments Josh as white slime goes flying all over the place. [0:41] The camera then shows him emerging from the barn doors and stumbling over to the next question: ?where is the ?Space Needle?: Seattle or New York City?? James presses the first buzzer and moves on.

?Now onto the High Sierras obstacle?? yells Josh. ?This is one of our toughest obstacles yet, because we?ve got three five foot peaks with lots of sticky mud that can really slow ya down? and he?s doing a great job still! This guy is not losing his momentum!? He certainly isn?t?James moves quickly over the mountains, using his feet to wedge himself between foam peaks to stop him from falling into the mud. [0:26] He finally slides down the last peak and reveals the fifth question: ?Which Fairly Odd Parent has green hair: Cosmo or Wanda?? James hits the second button and runs a short distance to the Water Spout.

?He?s climbing fast and furious!? yells Josh. ?He?s still got about 20 seconds left and? WHOA! Down comes the water, but that?s not stopping him from getting to Question #6!? James uncovers the sixth question ten feet in the air: ?What is the capital of California: San Francisco or Sacramento?? James hits the second buzzer, then finally sprints to the Sewer Chute, pulls the rope, and jumps down in a couple of fluid motions. [0:07!!] ?GET OUT!? yells Josh, as James lands in the surface of the trash. As tired as he looks, James gives one last big effort, pulls himself out of the pool, and stands on the red circle?the victory platform?to stop the clock with just three seconds remaining.

?HE MADE IT!? yells Josh, holding James? fatigued arm up in the air. ?HE MADE IT THROUGH THE COURSE! UNBELIEVABLE! He?s won so many prizes that I can?t count?because only one person knows what they are. Brad, tell him what he?s won!?

Brad reveals his prizes:
?JACKPOT!!! Our friend James has won the iTunes gift card, the Reebok savings bond, the Sony Ericsson cell phone, the Diamondback mountain bike, the Xbox 360 plus games, the Alienware laptop, and a fantastic trip to Walt Disney World! Combined with his total cash winnings today of $725, James is taking home a prize package worth $8377!?
