Didn't realize there was a poll until now. :P

I said no. It would take too long, not enough people would play, and we already know which runs suck and which ones don't. Sorry.

I originally voted no, for the same reasons you did. Even though the turnout for the "Top 32 wins" bracket was pretty good. I voted "Unsure," as it could work out, but as long as enough people stop by and vote.

Actually, it would take the same amount of time as it did for the "Best Legends Win" tournament if we used the format I proposed. It might take longer by 4-5 days at most than the previous tournament. But it definitely would take a little over a month to complete, which isn't very long at all. The only difference is that there will be more matchups in one day. But then again, they are all polls in the first place so it will only take less than 30 seconds to vote. Unless you want to provide feedback, which is always optional even in the original tournament. ;)

And I was thinking that GM1 was doing it on more of the basis for the entire episode rather than temple runs. If we were doing temple runs anyways, I am sure the same four runs from the last tournament would make it to the Semi-finals. There are actually some episodes with bad temple run but with redeeming points in other areas of it. I don't think it is a bad idea to give it a try. ;)

I messed around with the bracket a little bit, and here is what I came up for the first bracket:

http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?tid=436735

These are just 60 episodes that were picked by a list randomizer and then mainly matched up for the tournament. This is just a sample though and obviously the matchups will be mixed up for the official tournament. Since Pirate Captain, Annie Taylor, Egyptian Queen, and Milk Bucket were in the final 8 for the Best Legends Win tournament, they get a first round bye.

The other 60 episodes would be simply placed into the other bracket and randomly matched up.

Actually, the seeds were determined by actually the Results of the old Hurt and Heal Legends episodes to make it a fair tourney so this would be like a Legends Style March Madness or something like that. Even though it won't be in March. The Hurt and Heal was probably the best source for the seeding.

I was thinking 8 matchups during the 120 round, 64 round, and 32 round; 4 for Sweet Sixteen; 2 for Elite Eight. And one for the Final four and Championship per day

You have the right idea by using a list that was created by multiple users votes, but the final list itself is kind of flawed. If you place all the good episodes against each other and all the bad episodes against each other, then the good episodes will end up getting shafted while the bad ones get to advance on. The randomized method ensures that not all of the bad episodes are paired with bad episodes. Sure, you do get lopsided matchups sometimes. But it ensures only the best of the best will win.

Didn't realize there was a poll until now. :P

If you split them into 2 brackets and double up the matchups, then it will take 16 days to complete each bracket. Then the winners of the two different brackets will face off in the finals to determine the best episode. I think that method is better and it will take just as long as the Best Legends Win tournament.

If someone makes a tournament, I'll do it. If not, so be it. It wouldn't be the end of the world to me if the tournament didn't happen, but I'll participate if it gets put together.

I'd be all for it too and vote in it. I think doing it on Legends episodes would be a great idea because we hardly ever talk about Legends episodes as a whole.

First of all I don't know where you got the bad episodes vs bad episodes it's gonna be good episodes vs bad episodes or average vs average in the first round according to my seeding. I was thinking like a March Madness way of a brackets but TRJ's idea for a bracket is really good, I could see the ideas merging together

This is how the first bracket would look like (fixed the link).

But GM1 has his own bracket now, but that was just a sample of my idea.

I still think that a random generator would be more conducive than using a predetermined seeding, since the seeding already ranks the episodes. There wouldn't be any surprising match ups, and the final standings of the episodes are already defined, based on the way that bracket is structured. By formatting the bracket to have the #1 go against the #120 in the first round, it is obvious that the #1 team is going to win. If you continue that pattern throughout the bracket, the top half will move on each round, until the final match up is #1 versus #2. That isn't so exciting or enticing. At least with a random generator, there is a chance for some match ups to be more exciting and for the later match ups to be not as obvious.

So you're saying that with my bracket, that the finals no matter what will always be Lawrence of Arabia vs Apanuugpak
