And the Rams would have been a good story had the refs not handed the game to them on a silver platter via the no call DPI. Then again you never throw a pick in OT.


The Patriots were essentially handed that game as well. All those calls (Edelman’s non muff, roughing the passer by just touching Brady, Chiefs player killing team by putting half his body offside). This might be one of my least hyped Super Bowls for me, and that is considering the 2014 game which we blew to Seattle (defending champion who ended up playing New England). Seriously somebody kill me.

Yeah, the Saints were screwed out of a potential win on that obvious Pass Interference.  But they still kicked a FG with around a minute left in the game and still allowed the Rams to tie it. I actually like the Rams, but I wanted to see Brees get another ring before he reaches the age of retirement. Plus, I did not want to see a Rams/Patriots 2.0 Super Bowl since all we will hear is how the first match-up resulted in the Patriots first ever SB win. 

I didn't really watch much of the Patriots game because I knew that everyone would go their way. I also knew the second the Patriots got the ball in OT, they would win the game. Same thing happened in their SB game against Atlanta. One thing I have to say though is Patrick Mahomes has some good stuff. I'm looking forward to seeing him dominate next year.

And fuck the NFL's OT rules, too. Seriously, just like the Super Bowl 2 years ago, the Pats won on a coin flip. Period. Completely unfair that the Chiefs didn't even get a chance to tie it back up.

And fuck the NFL's OT rules, too. Seriously, just like the Super Bowl 2 years ago, the Pats won on a coin flip. Period. Completely unfair that the Chiefs didn't even get a chance to tie it back up.

Yeah, I had flashbacks to the Atlanta-New England Super Bowl as soon as I saw the Patriots won the coin toss. I miss the 2008-2013 seasons when the other AFC teams could compete with the Patriots and knock them out. Had the Ravens beaten the Chargers, I think we could've gone to NE and beat them. Or we would've done better than the Chargers at least.

Once again the Cheatriots are champions again. The Saints would have been a better matchup. The Rams played like the Cardinals today.

Yeah, the Saints deserved to be in the game more than the Rams did. Hell, the Chiefs deserved to be in the game more than the Pats.

This has to be one of the worst Super Bowls ever, and not just because New England won. The score was literally 3-3 for 3.5 quarters of the game.  As GM1 mentioned, the Rams looked like the Cardinals during this game. Hell, I'm pretty sure the Cards would've put more points up against NE. I wasn't even really watching the game and instead browsing the internet with the game on in the background.

That gives the Patriots SIX Super Bowl rings now. And there is no sign that they will be fading anytime soon.

I'm a Patriots fan, and while I'm happy Thanos Tom Brady got his 6th ring, that game made me less of a football fan. I know defense wins championships, but if it's all defense all game, it gets boring.

And, even though I'm a fan, I wanna see Brady win a 7th, cement the dynasty that is the Patriots, and then when the clown hands the trophy over, he decides to call it a career and goes out as the GOAT he is

Welcome back to the annual forum rant about the evil Cheatriots NFL Playoffs.


TRJ’s Ravens took the league by storm and secured the best record this season. I really think they might actually win another Super Bowl because they look unstoppable. So do the 49ers who were probably the biggest surprise of the season securing the 1 seed in the NFC with key victories over the Packers and Saints while holding off the Seahawks to win the West and the top seed. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a rematch of Super Bowl XLVII, hopefully the lights work this time.


My Packers are also returning to the playoffs this year after a couple of years off. TBH I really did not expect we’d go 13-3 and get a bye with a rookie coach. 10 wins maybe, but this was something special. Rodgers and the offense finally have some balance and the defense has fortified themselves, especially in the last 5 games. Hopefully this year a 5th Lombardi Trophy comes home in the NFL’s 100th season.


TSM’s Bills made it this year as well and we will see them this weekend against the Texans. Also playing in that same round is the Patriots who finally got their comeuppance and took devastating losses to the Ravens, Texans, and Chiefs who they are bound to see at least one of them some point. Then when all that was going on, they lost to the Dolphins at home and gave the other bye to the Chiefs, who are really catching fire right now. Of course they will still find a way to torture us all because of Brady and Belichick. 


Keep an eye on the Saints too, would not be surprised if Drew Brees tears it up this playoffs. Also making the playoffs this year are the Eagles, Vikings, and Titans who I expect to be longshots.

I logged into this forum just to make a post about the playoffs, but it looks like GM1 beat me to it. 

My Ravens were super fun to watch this year. I never expected them to win 14 games. I had them winning 10 games at most. Everyone was predicting that Browns would win the division, but it looks like they reverted back to their old selves.  I'm really hoping the Ravens win the SB this year because they might not get a chance in the future. As much as I love Lamar Jackson, I don't think he can sustain this success long term if he keeps taking all these hits. And the NFL will probably figure him out soon. I think he will still be a great QB, but might take a step back if he doesn't learn to pass the ball more.

I was so glad the Patriots lost that game to the Dolphins.  I really think this is the year they don't make it to the Super Bowl. Their offense looks mediocre and their defense is overrated. I think they will either lose to the Chiefs or Ravens. But then again, the refs will try to bail them out every chance they get. If my Ravens don't make the playoffs, I will root for literally every other team but the goddamn Patriots. 

On the NCF side, there are a lot of stacked teams. I think GM1's Packers really needed that first round bye because the 49ers and Saints look scary. I think the Saints will be the team that represents the NFC this year. Their defense is improved and Brees really wants that second ring.

My top 3 SB predictions would be:
1.) Ravens vs. Saints
2.) Chiefs vs. Saints
3.) Ravens vs. 49ers

But any match-up that doesn't involve Patriots will be fine by me.
