Argh the goddamn Chiefs manage to pull out a win against the Bills!  :x Are they going to be the new Patriots where everything goes their way?! Although it didn't help that the Bills gave up a FG with 13 seconds remaining. That was a great game though! Probably one of the best since the Ravens/Broncos double OT game in 2013.

In other news, Brady has been eliminated from the playoffs!  :mrred: The Rams tried hard to blow that one, but at least they prevailed. Too bad the Chiefs won or else this would've been the perfect weekend. And all four road teams would've won as well.

Next week is the Conference Championship game. It will be the following teams:

Bengals @ Chiefs
49ers @ Rams.

I have a feeling that Bengals will probably lose to Chiefs. They are too banged up and everything seems to go the Chiefs way.  :afro:
I pick the Rams for NFC game since they're more talented and healthy. But division games are definitely tricky to pick.  :afro:

SB match-up will probably be Rams-Chiefs, although I would love to see Rams-Bengals instead.

Ding Dong the witch is dead! Though it wasn’t easy Brady nearly pulled off another miracle comeback (mostly due to the Rams completely imploding 4 fumble really?). Thank god that D blew coverage on Kupp to set up the game winning field goal.

That Bills-Chiefs game felt like the Super Bowl. Three touchdowns and a tying FG in the final two minutes. This is a game that will go down forever. Bills fans have to be absolutely livid over blowing that game with the number one defense letting the Chiefs go right down the field in 13 seconds after Davis had a monster game. Chiefs won the toss and won the game, the Bills never saw the ball again.

This may have been the greatest weekend ever in terms of quality of games. 4 games with the winning score on the final play with one in OT. That being said the Super Bowl will be Rams-Chiefs. I felt like whoever won Bills-Chiefs would win the Super Bowl after how the other three games went so KC will use the experience to end Cincy’s Cinderella run. The Rams will crush the 49ers because San Francisco  has gotten lucky twice now, doubt they will be lucky a third time.

A coin flip should NOT decide who wins the game. Both defenses couldn't stop the other teams' offense. In my honest opinion, both offenses should get a chance to play in overtime unless the team that wins the coin toss throws a pick six on their opening possession in OT.

If it were me, I'd have a 10 or 15 minute OT. That would mean more football and enough opportunities for the teams to do something on offense. If the game is still tied at the end of OT, then do a field goal shootout. Have the kickers attempt 50 yard field goals. Keep playing rounds until one kicker misses and the other kicker is successful in the same round. I don't know how well that would work, but that's how I'd do it.

It really is BS how the Bills got hosed by bad OT rules. I'd honestly feel the same way if the shoe was on the other foot. It's 2022, you'd think the NFL would learn by now that both offenses should get a shot to play in OT (barring the aforementioned pick six scenario), especially in the playoffs.

The ironic part is that the Chiefs got hosed by the same OT rules 4 years ago against the evil Patriots.

And the Bengals shock the world and upset the Chiefs! What an incredible playoff run for them. They went from 4-11-1 last season to now being the AFC representation! Their last playoff win prior to beating the Raiders was all the way back in 1991. And now they're literally one win away from getting their first SB ring! I hope they go all the way and win the big one.

And now we have to wait for the NFC team. I'm rooting for the Rams over the 49ers because I would love to see Stafford in the SB. But really, I'm just glad that we don't have to see Brady or Chiefs in this year SB.

What an epic choke by Kansas City. Chiefs were up 21-3 then got aggressive near the end of the half and got stopped at the one. If only they had that timeout… All of a sudden Burrow and the Bengals score 21 unanswered and take the lead. Chiefs tie it late but could’ve easily won it had Mahomes not gotten sacked. Then Mahomes throws a rare pick and the Bengals are on their way to their first Super Bowl in 33 years.

The Bengals have been one of the biggest Cinderella Stories in recent memory. Two years ago they were the worst team in the NFL. Then Joe Burrow comes to town and out of nowhere they are going to the Super Bowl. I will be rooting for them to win the title.

The new golden boy Mahomes is out and the Bengals are in the Super Bowl. I never thought I'd live to see the day where Cincy made the SB.

I hope the Rams beat the 49ers. I want to see Stafford win it all.

Looks like it will be Bengals/Rams for the SB match-up! Before the season started, I never expected either team to make the playoff much less the Super Bowl. This is actually a pretty interesting match-up. A veteran QB whose never been to the SB vs. an up and coming QB who took their team from worst to first. I'm excited for this SB as it doesn't contain any NFL golden boys.

I honestly don't mind if either team wins. If the Rams win, Stafford will finally get a ring. If the Bengals, they will get their first SB trophy in franchise history and have a second year QB with a perfect playoff run.

I will post my predictions once we get a little closer to the SB date. The SB won't be for another 2 weeks though. First, we need to get past the lame ass Pro Bowl.  :afro:

Of the four possible matchups I think this was the best case scenario.

Rams win it would be in front of their own fans (all 56 of them), Stafford gets his first ring after all those years suffering in Detroit.
Bengals win it’s their first title ever, Burrow completes the greatest ascension ever.

It's over. In the end, the Rams won in their home stadium. There was a questionable holding call against the Bengals toward the end that helped the Rams score the game-winning TD, but the Bengals got away with a face mask penalty that wasn't called and that resulted in a TD, so I'd say it all evens out.

Congrats to Matt Stafford!

I have faith in Mitch Trubisky if he's our starting QB. The Bears treated him badly. If Mason Rudolph is our starter, then we might be in trouble.

I think Trubinsky could be a good fit for the Steelers as well. Based on how Justin Fields performed for the Bears this past season, I think it's safe to assume it might be a Bears problem rather than a QB problem. And Rudolph is not cut to start in the NFL.

Amari Cooper to the Browns? I have a feeling that will turn into another OBJ situation. There's also a lot of drama with Mayfield now. That team can never catch a break.

And Tom Brady is still around to torture us another season.  :P The Ravens play the NFC South next year, so that means we get another chance at facing Brady. I'm hoping he has a bad offensive year like Peyton Manning had in 2015 with the Broncos .

Well we’re already through one round let’s see what we got

49ers win all three against the Seahawks and in some weird way every time they lose their QB they’ve gotten better. They started with Trey Lance who lost to the Bears(!) then he got injured and Jimmy G came back. Then he got injured and up came Mr. Irrelevant himself Big Cock Brock who had one of the greatest playoff debuts. Forgot Seattle led at the half with how San Francisco dominated.

lol chargers.   They find ways to suffer in pain more than ever. Blowing a 27-0 lead to a team who was the worst each of the past two years, racked up five turnovers in the first half, and yet the Jaguars came roaring back and won that game. Shows how much coaching can make a difference. Jacksonville will have a tough task against Kansas City where Mahomes led the top offense of the season and beat the Jags earlier.

The team I most want to see win is the Bills after all they’ve gone through in 50+ years and especially this year with Damar Hamlin nearly dying. It’s a miracle he has since been discharged. Dolphins did give them a massive scare though with a third string QB mostly because Buffalo kept Miami hanging around. In the end the Dolphins effort was not good enough because their coach cannot handle clock management, waste all timeouts on a play clock, then get a brutal delay of game.   Dolphins would’ve won this game with Tua.

The Vikings were absolute frauds all year long. Only one team could get so luck winning 11 one possession games and not losing a single one. All of their losses were blowouts, enough that even with a 13-4 record they had a negative point differential. It all came crashing to the Giants of all teams where Daniel Jones had his best game. Who would’ve thought that the Giants and Jags would not only make the playoffs but each win playoff games? Big hurdle next for the Giants, they go to Philly who was the top team this year and had already swept them. Third time the charm?

Bengals got an absolute bailout. They clearly should’ve lost to the Ravens. Baltimore outplayed them almost the whole game. It flipped on a fumble for a QB sneak that Sam Hubbard went 98 yards. Resembled a 14 point swing that decided the game. Nevermind the fact that John Harbaugh and Greg Roman’s offense kept wasting their time on the last drive making Tyler Huntley look desperate when he didn’t need to be.  Oh and a Hail Mary slipping through the tips.

Cowboys and Bucs was a complete waste of time knowing that whoever won I’d be pissed about. Dallas won so that removed Brady out of the picture. Good riddance because the Bucs shouldn’t have been to the playoffs in the first place. They not only got in but hosted because the NFC South was dogshit. Lions would’ve been a better matchup for Dallas. Even the Cowboys were trying to give it to them by missing FOUR PAT’s  .

So we got Jags Chiefs, Giants Eagles, Bengals Bills, and Cowboys 49ers. Should set up for a pretty epic weekend. Going to be hard to top last year’s divisional.

I'm not actually mad about the Ravens losing to the Bengals last week. Huntley put up a good effort and it was a close game despite the turnover in the red zone. The one bright spot that came from this game was they finally canned the OC Greg Roman. Good riddance, his playcalling was awful. Hopefully Ravens and Lamar can agree to a reasonable long term contract.  :mrpurple:

As for the other games last week, I think ,ost of the games were pretty good.

Chargers choked in typical fashion like they always do. Makes me feel better about the Ravens loss.
Vikings and Kirk Cousins also choked in the playoffs like they always do.
Tom Brady looked bad and I'm glad to see he won't be advancing. He has looked like Peyton Manning in his last season this year. Will he finally hang up the mitts? Although not a fan of the Cowboys.
Dolphins put a good effort against the Bills with a back-up QB. I wonder what Tua's future will be like?

As for the remaining teams, I want either Jaguars or Bills to represent AFC. Unfortunately, I don't think the Jaguars will beat the Chiefs this evening but I hope I'm wrong. I'm tired of the Chiefs coming close to the SB every year where everything goes their way. Feels like the old Tom Brady Patriots.

As for the NFC, I wouldn't mind seeing the Eagles or Giants represent. Eagles are a fun and talented team to watch and I like watching Hurts play. I personally find the 49ers boring and hope they're eliminated, although I have to give credit to Purdy aka Mr. Irrelevant carrying the team this far.

I predict Super Bowl will be the battle of the #1 seed teams - Eagles vs. Chiefs.
