"The Golden Cup of Belshazzar" goes next. This really wasn't a bad team at all, they just got very unlucky with their impossible layout. I always had a feeling that the Room of the Harmonic Convergence was a production error, so that's really not the players fault. While this is a pretty unremarkable run, it can go now.

That run is actually 16th. With that elimination, I think there are now 15 runs remaining.

Yeah, I miscounted the number of episodes myself when I got rid of "Anne Bonny", so now this post will start off the bottom 15.

I am going to get rid of "Wild Bill Hickok and the Dead Man's Hand" to start off the bottom 15. Like "Belshazzar", this was not a bad team at all. Rather, they got stuck with an unfair layout that consisted of a route that was almost never used on the show. I can forgive this team more than the others one left too since they got stuck with a layout beyond their control. And why didn't any of the central shaft rooms not open?

I'm surprised Ponce de Leon and the Lost Fountain of Youth is still here. I don't think this is bottom 15 quality. Maybe bottom half of season 1, but not bottom 15. I guess 14th is a good enough stopping point. James owned the top floor. It was the bottom floor where he slowed down quite a bit, which is understandable for someone who entered a lot of rooms. Of course, it didn't help that he ignored the Shrine-Ancient Kings shortcut. It ESPECIALLY didn't help that this layout had one of the most devilish designs ever. Jessica had no prayer in the world to get to where James was taken out. She made a couple of weird choices, but she had no chance to begin with. I probably would've put this run in Paintbrush's current place, swapping them.

The #13 spot goes to "The Stone Marker of Leif Ericson." It was yet another lackluster Season 1 run, but that was a pretty impossible layout. It's just better than what is still left.

#12 will go to "The Lost Logbooks of Magellan". Sure, this temple run was forgettable and had a bad outcome. The frontunner was decent at least though and he got caught up in an unfair and cruel deadend. The secondrunner sucked tough and she was stupid for running into Room of Harmonic Convergence after seeing it was a deadend. And then, she has the slowest monkey completion on the show. Even if they had found the half-pendant, this team still wouldn't have won because the secondrunner was too slow and stupid. But to their credit, they did come closest to an artifact in the Dungeon.

Also, I am surprised "Lost Fountain of Youth" made it to the bottom 15.

I don't think The Codebook of Mata Hari deserves to be in the bottom 10. It's not a great run, but it's better than what's left. Gareth did a fair job in the temple and he was smart for taking the Well-Shrine passage. However, he moved a little too slow and didn't give his partner a chance to succeed.

Just kicking off the Top 10 is "The Treasure Map of Jean Lafitte." Neither player moved fast, and taking alternative routes the way they did was very dangerous. But, this run is more boring than it is bad.

Taking 9th place is The Silver Saddle Horn of Hannibal. This was a mediocre and forgettable run. Vicki wasted too much time backtracking and it cost the team dearly. She never gave Damon much time to prove himself. This run is better than what's remaining.

This is getting hard, but out goes "Elizabeth I's Golden Ship". Sure, this team only made it through four rooms in the temple. But this team was more slow than they were bad and clueless. Had they not been captured by all three guards, there is no doubt in my mind that they would've made it further in the temple. And I don't blame this run for ending in triple capture because they took the shortest way in the temple, yet there was no half-pendant in site. And I think they were better than what is remaining.

The #7 spot goes to "The Stolen Arm of Shiva." Sure, the players were WAY too slow and Evan was utterly clueless with the monkey. But really, the run is more forgettable and boring than it is bad. The other 6 runs remaining are the truly bad ones.

This vote may seem a little surprising, but I am going to eliminate "The Keys to the Alhambra" next. While this is truly one of the worst temple performances on the show, Steve was one of the redeeming highlights of this episode. He was insanely fast in the temple and if he didn't get taken out so quick, who knew how little time it would've taken him to reach the Keys. To Lisa's credit, she did USE the key in the Tomb of the Ancient Kings to the Shrine. Why didn't the door to go up never opened? I guess that added to her confusion. So as dumb as she was, I can take her crappy performance over certain players in the remaining runs left.

Wow, that IS a surprise.

Taking 5th is The Lucky Pig of Amelia Earhart. As slow and pathetic as Kristin was, she DID make it very far on her own. Plus, that layout was so brutal to begin with. I really don't think this is bottom 5 quality, but it's very close to it. It's better than what's left, but it was either this or Oracle Bowl.

Thinking about it now, I probably should've put "The Oracle Bowl of Delphi" in place of "The Keys to the Alhambra". This is how I based my decision when comparing to the other runs:

"Blackbeard's Treasure Map" - She only covered 5 rooms in 3 minutes and got stuck in some of the easiest rooms. At least Steve covered five rooms in 1/6 of the time Sabrina only covered two.
"John Henry's Lost Hammer" - At least Steve and Lisa knew what an actuator was
"The Golden Cricket Cage of Khan" - No comment, these two were beyond stupid and a waste of temple performance.
"The Lucky Pig of Amelia Earhart" - She spent her entire three minutes in the temple getting lost in simple rooms like the Observatory and Dungeon. If she moved faster, then Scott might've had a chance in the temple.
"The Oracle Bowl of Delphi" - Shane was good, Jackie was very pathetic and painful to watch. She moved sooooo slow.
