The Heart Room / Most pointless room ever
« on: July 04, 2007, 06:25:48 PM »
To me, the Rock Quarry and the Wheel room were my least favorite, as they eliminated the chance of going into the center room directly, taking away more opportunities to trick a contestant.

As far as rooms that shouldn't have even been rooms....the pharohs secret passage was pretty lame, it's just a slide for crying out loud.

The mine shaft if it had worked correctly (gone up and down without hitting a hitch) then it would've been cool, but that seemed to be where most of the bad luck temple runs occured.  Same as the Harmonic Convergence room.  Cool concept, key flaws (1 time door not opening when it should, other times seemed useless).

Interesting, my YouTube got blocked, but I was able to create a new account, but I am not uploading anymore Nickelodeon, just like Endurance.

interesting.  I dont give 2 S***s what they do to my account on there, if your allowed to view without an account i can create one for you and bypass that.

If you wish to get a hold of the company responsible for removal of videos and eventual deletion of your account.

The other thing i might suggest is emailing them.  I cant get a single service in my area that allows me to watch this any other way.  I'm betting there are about 1-2k fans of legends, requesting a early morning legends on a more major network for better ratings might get them interested.

What Will Happen If You Upload Infringing Content

Anytime we become aware that a video or any part of a video on our site infringes the copyrights of a third party, we will take it down from the site. We are required to do so by law. If you believe that a video on the site infringes your copyright, send us a copyright notice and we will take it down. If you believe that we have removed a video that you uploaded in error and that you are the copyright owner or have permission, you can file a counter notice and let us know. If you repeatedly post infringing content, your account will be terminated. This is also a requirement of the law.

After an email question, it is determined that even if they remove all your videos at once, posting additional copyrighted material from the same source is against policy and may be cause for termination.

While i also think its BS, i'll argue that your not going to get much out of it other than the personal satisfaction of standing up for what you believe in.  If thats what your doing i'll still sign on your behalf, just wanted to point out how far it will get you.

I still have the videos.

Aware of this i am, but its still no fun trying to find a place to display the 106 you have totaled.

On another note, grr with this recent episode lineup.

At least I can tape The Golden Goblet of Attila the Hun this time around. (Unfortunately, however, I can't get it to Renegade to put on his site.)

Got a lot of work ahead of him as YouTube decided his videos were copyright infringement.

The Heart Room / What do you think was the hardest layout?
« on: January 25, 2007, 01:54:03 PM »
i have not seen some of the episodes (my only means of getting them is if someone puts them up, whether it be RP or a different site).  The worst one by far was the first one made, the golden cup of belshazzar, but it was a production error (or as some think...a long deadend).

I would put the missing portrait as the worst as most other runs had a good possibility of alternate routes.

heres one of the pieces i took from your lineup, i think it was day 5.

The Mummified Hand of the Egyptian King ? Audience NO?? (unfortunately the use of camera cap makes this too hard to tell).
The Metal Beard of the Egyptian Queen ? Audience YES (maybe some empty spaces though?)
The Lost Taj Mahal Turban of Aurangzeb ? Audience NO
The Melted Head of Madame Tussaud ? No copy of this vid

You made a point of it, but as much as i appreciate RP's captures of the temple runs its impossible in some cases to tell whether the audiences are there or not.

Anyways, 3 days and a few added no audience episodes is a good start, i'm going to use the types of pots used (it makes the most sense to buy in bulk, thats why i think its a valid arguement) and see what i come up with.

i'll get my thumb drive back out and look it over again, but its hard to explain some of the orders, in at least the day they took place, considering the episodes after them have audiences.

I probably got two or three mixed up, but i do think the empty audiences would indicate either a way to group a speicific amount of episodes, whether it be an entire day of empty audience or just the end one or two of a given day.

Keep in mind that i'm just trying to make logical sense out of what we have to work with, same as you.

IN RESPONCE TO ANCIENT WARRIORS LIST FOR SEASON 3

Alright heres a couple of notes.  If the epsidoes 83-86 are in the correct order OR are in the same grouping, then the assumption that the audience is empty late at night ONLY is false.  Either that, or they decided to run the temple runs all after close.

The following episodes also were of note.

The Thornwood Gavel of Judge Roy Bean - Audience NO
The Mussel-Shell Armor of Apanupac ? GATOR! Audience NO
The Upside-Down Compass of Henry Hudson ? Audience NO
The Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu ? Audience NO
The Lion-Headed Bracelet of Chandragupta ? Audience NO
The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen ? Audience NO
The Lost Taj Mahal Turban of Aurangzeb ? Audience NO
The Broken Trident of Poseidon ? Audience NO

Note that there were several in this series also labeled as a 4 episode group, although one was unavailable.  i also have 3 i am unsure of due to camera angles and half full audiences.  The total discounting the 2 groups of 4 episodes is 8, which matches the amount of days.

If your still following me through here, i think the following is true:

1) First 8 episodes were done with the temple runs coming last, and therefore no audience.

2) Every episode thate concludes a day had no audience.

If what i say is correct, then that means a few of these are definately out of order, which has been confirmed by me as 1 of these episodes was listed as first of the day, and theres no way to explain how there is no audience for the first tape and the next 3 have audiences.

The next thing i want to say is that RP noted in his writeup that the lion-headed braclet is the last episode.  This could be a possibility as it was an episode that contained no audience for the temple run.

Some other notes:

1) There were 4 episodes that i counted while watching that contained pots with objects on the side and were red/green/blue ones, not all of one color on any given day.  I would guess that these 4 would be on the same day due to this difference in the kings storeroom.
2) In some episodes, the smoke was more apparent when enterting the crypt than it was in others.  perhaps some of the temple runs happened on the same day and that day had a very low setting of the fog.  This would probably give us some more tools to seperate a season that only consisted of one layout.

Someone can go ahead and prove my theories wrong, i'm just trying to take note of some of the differences in the episodes.

Okay then, if I'm gonna keep hearing "wrong" every time I suggest something I'll just sit back and let you guys do all the work. (Thou it's good to know in those four Season 3 episodes, no artifacts are shown in the Temple during the first-person rundown.  This leads me to believe? even thou I know I'm probably wrong? that they replaced certain pieces of it to show the artifacts in The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen and those episodes.  Then again, The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen and the episodes on that day could be in the middle of the season too and just have been edited first.)

I wont say your wrong, but i wanted to provide some reasoning as to why it may be wrong.  In most but not all cases, the last run of the day typically had either limited crowds or the park was near or at closing time.  Therefore, the final 4 runs you had listed were full audiences from the camera angles given.  This would suggest that at least one of those runs was not filmed with the others at minimum.

I am working through all the runs RP has on his site for season 3 to determine if i can make logical sense of the runs to better your list, and will get back when im closer to done.

Episode 113 was the ear corn of sojourner truth because "during the second Temple Game, the Ear of Corn is visible in the Jester's Court, meaning this was the first episode filmed during its day" according to RP.
