Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Though we really don't need to post more pictures. Only one for each round (and the usual three for the temple games) is enough. And of course, we can give each other credit for who wrote what. Just like we did for the collaborations. Also, you could PM me your bits of the episode reviews, adding on to what I wrote. And I'll cut and paste them to my respective reviews. We won't have to worry about the 23 episode collaborations we did either. Those we can skip over because we both already worked on those.

Okay, I added by tidbits for the first half of the Belle Boyd review. I only have the temple games and the temple run section left to write. I haven't averaged everything yet, and you can give me credit on my sections (titled "PPF's description" right now) if you want. If there's anything you want me to change, let me know and I'll gladly change it. But check it out, and tell me what you think so far.

Good old Belle Boyd, the first episode review I ever wrote. People call this episode forgettable, but I thought it was both close and competitive. I really need to revisit this episode review myself because I don't agree with some of my scores. I like the score you gave the moat better than what I gave it. I am not sure why I gave it a 4. I guess it was because of how short and lame the idea was? I would totally give it a higher score now. And I remember Leah of the Green Monkeys falling too. She must've been in pain though, because she was holding her back during the Steps of Knowledge. And I agree with your sentiments too about the legend. There were very few legends about the Civil War. I think the Belle Boyd legend was the only one? Glad to see it with a strong final score. And the Steps of Knowledge was great and close too. I probably would give it the same score as you did right now. Only because Leah had at least one wrong answer.

So far so good. I am totally liking this idea of revisiting certain episodes and collaborating on them. It will make it easier then the first reviews because the pictures will already be included and we can use each other reviews for reference. I want to rank Oracle Bowl first as my part of revisiting this episode. I will send you my part by PM when it is ready.   I know it is a weird first choice, but I actually like Oracle Bowl. Just not the temple run.

And I can't wait to see your final score for Belle Boyd. It looks like it will finish with a good score like I gave it.

Well, the thing with Belle Boyd is, most of the rounds were on the forgettable side. The moat was average, and the steps were uneventful. But the temple games were cool though, and the temple run was great. It's a lot like Gwalior (coincidentally filmed before this), where it's a good episode, but it's just average. The only reason I stopped at the temple games section is because it is a lot to write. I'm lazy.

I bet it's incredibly nostalgic for you to go back and look at your first episode review. I agreed with most of your scores, and when I finish adding in my tidbits, I'm sure ours scores will come close to matching up. Later on, I'll go back and finish the rest. Good luck with Oracle Bowl too. The episode really wasn't that bad at all. Just the temple run was bad, thanks to Jackie. It'll be interesting to see your take on it though.

I knew your episode score would be high like mine.  The temple games were close like the other episodes that day. The temple game sequence was definitely great too. I like how when they cut to the break, Kirk tries to mimic Leah's screaming. The temple run was also a great effort also by the Green Monkeys. I really can't think of a single thing Leah and Matthew did wrong in the temple besides not taking a shorter path. Leah cleared most of her rooms out in a quick time. Matthew was an outstanding second runner and is the perfect example of how you should use your time in the temple. I love this temple run and thought it was a very exciting loss. This run would've probably had an "Henry Morgan" ending if Leah and Matthew took shorter paths. I would totally give these two a second chance in the temple. Overall, Belle Boyd finished with a really good score despite being forgettable. I agree with all your scores for that episode too. 

So I am going to try the same thing out, but with Oracle Bowl. Are you going to revisit every episode you didn't write a review for? I know I am going to do that for your reviews. Even for Cosa Rara and Clovis the First.

Yeah, that's probably what I'm gonna do. Though I really don't want to touch episodes like Bifocal Monocle or Cricket Cage at all. Maybe we can find some way to work around that?

Guys I was browsing this some more and based on my observation there is an error with the production day rankings.

Chandragupta's production day is listed as bing ranked 17th with episode rankings of:
Chandragupta - 8.2
Lion Slashed Jacket - 6.2
Secret Map - 8.0
Thornwood Gavel - 6.5
For an average of 5.78??

That's an obvious typo, none of those episodes even rank below a 6.2 so an average of 5.78 is literally impossible.

It's actual average is 7.23 which should bump it up from 17th to 3rd place.

Alright, I've just finished my rewrite of Apanuugpak. Here's the review again if you want to check it out. Almost all of our scores were identical, as well as the final verdict. Check it out and tell me what you think.

Wow, your score was almost identical to mine!    To be honest, I always felt that I was pretty generous to Apanuugpak. But I am glad that I am not the only one that thinks highly of most of the episode. The only section I would change would be the legend because looking back now, I thought it was silly. But I didn't give it a low score because Apanuugpak was an interesting character to cover and I like the "Your mom wears sealskin boots" line. But yeah, this whole episode is a classic. It had a very fast moat that was almost the fastest one on the show! The temple games were interesting too. I liked the one where Gator and his opponent had to collect stuff seals and bring it to the top. And Gator was the man in the temple! Gator knew that it wasn't time to screw around. Sorry Amanda, I feel like you get too much credit for this win. But I do love her enthusiasm though. Overall, this is indeed one of the best episodes on the show. And Gator was the star of this win.  I am glad you got a high score like I did. This episode truly deserves it. 

I still want to do Oracle Bowl as my first review. I will try to aim for it over the weekend.

Yeah, this episode was amazing. Too bad it didn't crack 9 range. Maybe Lawrence of Arabia will rank that high if I ever get to rewriting it. And feel free to send me your tidbits of the Oracle Bowl whenever you're ready. I'd love to read your take on that episode.

This is fun, I like this whole concept of rewriting each others episodes. Which ones should I do next? Any requests?

Why not try Lost Lion Tail? I know you never want to touch that episode again, but it would be interesting what an Purple Parrots fan would rank this episode. IIRC, TPP actually liked this episode.

I don't know, I was thinking of doing Lawrence of Arabia next. What a better episode to rewrite than the first ever episode ever aired on Nickelodeon. If you don't mind of course. It's up to you.
