Okay, football is a long ways away. But there will be a lot going on during the off-season that I am sure we can talk about in this topic. This will keep the Main Spam topic free of this discussion when others might not want to hear it.

The Ravens playoff status doesn't look so good next season with Terrel Suggs going out with an Achilles tendon tear. He will be out for the whole season. I think the Ravens can still make the playoffs without him, but there schedule is hard.

And I am tired of hearing about the Jets quarterback problem.

And sorry to hear about your problem in Baltimore. It's gonna be tough, but I think you might make the playoffs without him.

@ PHI - L (they are a talented team that got off to a bad start last year and finished strong. I think we will lose to them at home)
vs. NE - L (we always find a way to lose to this team, even though we finally play them at home.)
vs. CLE - W
@ KC - W
vs. DAL - W
@ HOU - L (they are a team on the rise and played us well in the playoffs last season. They will be scary in the AFC)

@ PIT - L (just because we usually split)
@ SD - L (another underrated and scary team to play late in the season)

vs. DEN - W

@ CIN - L (WHY DO WE ALWAYS PLAY THEM IN THE LAST GAME OF THE SEASON!  They always play us hard, but I think we will beat them this time.)

Overall record: 10-6

That is respectable enough for me anyways with this schedule.

Its the Purple Parrots of the NFL. 

But really, I would love to see them make the playoffs. I am tired of the overrated Patriots making the playoffs all the time. I was glad when the Bills finally beat them last season. I prefer them over the Pats and Jets.

I seriously never understood how that team made it to the playoffs a few years back. They have been a mediocre team for the longest time whether it was behind Henne or Matt Moore. They are just a perennial 6-8 win team every year. They are neither good or bad, just mediocre.

And I am starting to hate the Bengals more now. Their fans are talking trash to Ravens fans on other forums now despite losing the first round of the playoffs. I hope they miss the playoffs next year. Their fans could never handle success.

Not really surprising TBH. The Saints are overrated though and they will be exposed next season I can assure. That offense may be scary, but the defense is really not that great. And I agree with your feelings about the Saints. Five years ago they were the lovable losers that no one could hate. But then they won a Super Bowl and all of a sudden they become the dirtiest team in the NFL with classless bandwagon fans.

I totally forgot that the NFL season starts tonight. Well, at least the Cowboys/Giants game. Man, the offseason went by really fast. It just seemed like yesterday since the Ravens played.

The Ravens don't play until Monday Night of course. And its actually in Baltimore too! Can't wait.

Also, go Giants.

Good lord, the Ravens are carving the Bengals up out there. I thought the game was going to be close, but Flacco and the offense is destroying them out there.

I can't believe the Ravens lost that game today. We had that game in the bag until they let Philly get that game winning drive at the end of the game. I have had enough of Cam Cameron and how he has ruined this offense. Oh well, at least we lost on by one point to a team that is pretty talented.

And I am kind of glad the Steelers won tonight. I hate the Jets and sick of hearing about Tebow and Sanchez. And I hate Rex Ryan too.

And the Patriots lost to the CARDINALS!
