Chamber Door in the Bandit Queen Episode
« on: June 25, 2008, 08:03:10 PM »
Today, I was weeding through the Heart Room threads when I came across one that led me to ZacTurney.com, where I watched the full-length tape of the episode. It was only then when I realized that the Chamber of the Sacred Markers--King's Storeroom door did not automatically open. I've only seen twice where the door got stuck--this and the Heralded Helmet. Was the cause of this time's door malfunction due to a breakdown? Or was there a guard hiding there and there was no time to hide him in another place because Zac was too fast and so they left it shut?

So, whadda ya think?

I noticed that too. I think that, with the Pit-Chamber door opening after the Pendulum got knocked down, that the 3rd guard MIGHT have been stationed there. If this IS TRUE, then they completely bypassed the third guard by the sheer luck that Miriam wasn't able to get back to the platform in the Pit. However, who's to say that if the other theory of yours is correct, that the door broke down, that Zac NARROWLY avoided pulling a "Harriet Tubman" when he went to go to the Ledges, but corrected himself (and SAVED the run). I guess we'll just have to file this one into the "Unsolved Legends Questions" folder. (Which, by the way, is getting QUITE FULL!!!)

Well, the Helmet and Bandit Queen episodes were filmed on consecutive days, the first two filming days for Season 3 as a matter of fact. However, between the filming of the two episodes runs, the team in the Lion Slashed Jacket episode had their run, which included them scaling the central shaft from bottom to top, so the Chamber-Storeroom door did open in that run.

Also between the two was the run for the Lion Headed Bracelet episode. Did anyone notice if the Chamber-Storeroom door opened either after Andrea completed the objective in the Storeroom or after she picked up the bracelet?

And if I recall correctly, the Chamber-Storeroom door failed to open after Jonathan grabbed the artifact (in the Chamber) in the Battle Flag episode. (Although the door did open when Gator grabbed the artifact in the same room in the Mussel Shell Armor episode.)

If you have seen all 120 episodes of Legends, copy and paste this into your signature for all to see.

As for the Lion-Headed Bracelet run, The door DID NOT open. As for the Battleflag run, the door DID NOT open. Finally, as for the Mussel Shell run, the door DID OPEN!
