Kind of like the outline you can see in the Jester's Court's lower right door. Also, all of the unneccesary actuators were removed and replaced by metal plates.

The Heart Room / Another Wheel Room Question

To answer your question, that would have required a smaller wheel.  It appeared that they just reused the hamster wheel from Double Dare in the 1st season of Legends in a cost-cutting move, so they had to work with it.  That wheel was designed so that full grown adults could use it.

Weren't full grown adults only on Double Dare 2000, when Legends season 1 was in 1993?

No, there was family double dare.

The Heart Room / Second season Throne Room question...
« on: January 17, 2007, 03:22:23 PM »
What they should have done was to have two thrones one on each side of the wall. They also should have had it set up so the contestant, when entering it from from The Heart Room, would enter it on the same side as if they were entering it from the Pit of Despair, so they would have to spin around.

The Heart Room / The Laser Light Room

Yeah, I noticed that a while back. It seemed that they were planning the Laser Light Room when they created the new Throne Room because there were already squrares cut out on the back of it.

What were the only two rooms not entered in season 1 Layout 1?
How many actuators were there in the season 1 temple?

The Heart Room / Another Room Name Topic
« on: January 08, 2007, 03:28:56 PM »
Everyone calls the pit type room in Season 1 Layouts 1-4, The Wall Climb. During Olmec's description he says "and into a wall climb." After describing all of the other rooms, he says "climb back into the Pit of Despair." I am torn between the true room name now. I am leaning toward the Pit of Despair since that was used for "The Wheel Room" and part of season 2. Also because The Pit of Despair would be a weird name for that kind of room. I am not bringing this topic up just to say Nicklegends is wrong, but only out of curosity of what everyone else thinks.

Well, Hallie could've gone up into the King's Storeroom, but I assume she thought it would take too much time to scale the wall and went thru the Tomb of the Headless Kings door which was right there.  But if she'd gone up into the King's Storeroom she would've been taken out there instead, but her partner Jared could've gone across the rest of the top floor and gotten to the Dark Forest.  They certainly would've had enough time to get to the Useless Map.

Thou what I wanna know is if they could've taken a different path in The Pendant of King Kamehameha? the only other episode in which a team with only one Pendant of Life meets all three Temple Guards.  The Guards in that one were pretty hard to avoid.

In a sense, I believe that it was a lot like Golden Cricket Cage of Khan & Stone Head of Evil King. They were very similar layouts, in which all of the runs could've gone straight up the Observatory & avoid two Temple Guards, but they all scaled the central shaft (or at least attempted to), & met those Temple Guards. Someone else said that a while ago, so I don't deserve credit that whole idea.

In the Pendant of Kamehameha, when the girl (name?) spins the sundial, the bar from the Pit of Despair to the Obsercatory opens. Probably the same for The Cricket Cage as well.

The Treasure Room / Possible fanart???
« on: January 01, 2007, 05:33:30 PM »
My idea:
An observatory/Secret Password combination.(Goes in observatory)

Objective:
Shout out a password that is visible only when viewed through a telescope.

Instead of a sundial there will be a working telescope. The objective will be to have the contestants line up a telescope with 1 of three arrows pointing in different directions. Once the telescope is lined up with an arrow, the contestant can look through it and read a password that wouldn't be visible without the telescope. Hope it makes sense.
