Analysis: I will go with John Sutter. This episode just has to be in the Elite 8. It's way better than Sir Gawain.

Yeah, I went with Map to the Lost Gold Mine also. It is one of my personal favorite episodes.  Everything about that episode was fun and it deserves to advance far. I can understand why some people might not find it as good as it made out to be, but it is an episode I could never get tired of watching. Sir Gawain was a great episode also, and it was very fun to watch. However, it is not even my most favorite Orange Iguanas episode. Nostradamus and Atocha were better, and unfortunately those two didn't advance. I like it a lot, but Map to the Lost Gold Mine is an episode a prefer much more over it. Still a great episode though.

Give me Sir Gawain. I really enjoyed this episode. Everything about it was great. John Sutter is good, but nothing special in my opinion. I really think it's Galileo 2.0.

John Sutter! Every round was very memorable for me. One of the longest Steps of Knowledge rounds, miscounted temple games with Kirk saying nonsensical things "The problem with the snakes is that they don't have feet!" (because barracudas have feet too, right?), the great temple run (by Season 1 standards), and most importantly, Jennifer falling at the end of the run  and it was one of the first episodes I saw which makes it all the more special to me.

I love John Sutter, it's a great episode. But I went with Gawain, I feel like that episode is very underrated. Nonetheless, I won't be heartbroken if John Sutter makes it, because that episode is super memorable and they both deserve to advance in my opinion.

I'm going with John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine. It was a quirky episode, and the temple run was so memorable with Jennifer falling at the end, and Kirk messing up practically every temple room name . The Much Heralded Helmet of Sir Gawain was a great episode too, and Tiffani's temple run was great, but I think she lucked out on temple guard placement, and I think the one in the Chamber of the Sacred Markers didn't appear because the door flap didn't go up (hence the flash).

Doesn't change the fact that when PPF comes back (I'm sure she'll be back in time for that match), John Sutter will get a few votes from people like her, TRJ, RJF, and JCW. Those four absolutely love the John Sutter episode like it's Galileo. It's going to be close, I already know it will be.

John Sutter's overrated just like Galileo. It was a nice win, but nothing spectacular in my opinion. That's the only thing I remember about each episode: the temple run. When it comes to an episode like Lucky Pillow and Apanuugpak, I'm able to instantly remember mostly everything about those episodes (for the right reasons, of course). John Sutter doesn't do that for me. It's definitely not a bad episode, it's far from that. However, it doesn't deserve any awards for being the best at anything. It's lackluster to me, I'm sorry. An episode like Sir Gawain is something I'm able to remember more than John Sutter. It was quirky (especially in the temple games) and that's why I voted for it.

If you like John Sutter, that's fine. However, if you can't accept the fact that what I'm saying is true, then that's your problem, not mine.

This match ended up being closer than I thought it would be and I enjoy seeing that. I'm cool with JS moving on, as it is a good episode.

For the record, I've been praising Lost Hornpipe for quite a long while now. As good as John Sutter is, I'm gonna vote for Lost Hornpipe when the matchup comes.

You make it sound like we are voting for John Sutter because we are just trying to spite everyone here. It shouldn't be a surprise to you to see this episode thought highly of around here. A lot of people love this episode. Hell, it is in my top 5 all time favorite episodes lists. I am picking it over Sir Gawain because I thought it was the better episode of the two. No way am I calling it the best episode ever. And I am not voting it as a troll vote to make anyone upset. Most of the people that voted for John Sutter love Sir Gawain too. Hell, I love Sir Gawain and I think it is an episode that can be underrated at times. I find it hard to believe that John Sutter making it this far was some kind of fluke.

It probably won't get past Pirate Captain next round anyways. Even if it ends up losing to it, I won't think of any less of this episode. The episode just would've met its match. Just like I wouldn't think any less of Sir Gawain just because it lost. I love all these episodes that made it this round, even if they didn't advance.
