The Pit / We may be in luck

Quote from: ""tazz765""Um... tazz, you know that it was one of US that did that, right?Quote from: ""The Dark Enforcer""UPDATE: Well, the TVPMM caught wind of us using direct links to access their LOTHT music, so they've removed the files from those links!
I don't think it this forum as much as it was some idiot who downloaded the files and then posted them all to youtube.
I didn't, but it still wasn't the smartest thing to do. The person who runs the TVPM is more likely to discover the cues on Youtube than on this forum.

The Heart Room / Most timeless classic Nick game show
« on: August 03, 2010, 11:15:34 PM »
Does anyone else agree with me that out of all of the classic Nick game shows, Legends is one of most timeless, especially the second or third seasons. The only thing that would really date the show would be the prizes but if you removed (or updated) the prize plugs and covered up the copyright unless you knew about the show (like us) an episode from 1994 or 1995 could easily pass as one from 2004 or 2005 or even today. The only other Nick game show I think could possibly be more timeless would be GUTS only because except for Reebok there were no prize plugs, but I think one look at Mike's clothes on some shows would easily scream 90s.

The Heart Room / Spookiest Room?

The Crypt could be pretty scary especially when they had the skeletons turned up and a kid wasn't expecting it.

The Heart Room / Interesting Posting on TV.com

Yeah, it stinks she isn't active because we could have possibly gotten an interview. I thought it was interesting though that they gave teams a second chance.

The Heart Room / Interesting Posting on TV.com
« on: February 06, 2010, 07:53:21 PM »
I found this review on TV.com from someone claiming to be Sarah Beckemeier from The Dead Man's Hand episode. Not sure if its a legit posting but the interesting part is that she was supposedly on the show twice. I believe the "first episode" she is referring to is Galileo's Cannonball because I looked at the Red Jaguars on the Cannonball ep and the Orange Iguanas on the Will Bill ep and they look like the same people. I could try contacting her but she hasn't logged in since Dec 2007 so I doubt she would reply back.

The Heart Room / Re: Contestant Interests Question
« on: January 29, 2010, 05:25:59 PM »Quote from: ""JALsnipe""
I don't really know what it's called, but I'm talking about the part of the show where Kirk talks to each team and tells a little fact or interest about each player to the audience. Anyway, my friends say there was one episode where Kirk said one kid collects "bags" (like shopping bags). This is so random and I totally want to see it. Anyone know which episode this happened in? Thanks!
The Lost Hornpipe of the Pirate Captain, the contestant is Brent of the Purple Parrots. This still can't beat the girl and her twenty five postcards.

The Heart Room / Snow Cone of Mt. Kilimanjaro ep observation/question
« on: January 28, 2010, 07:50:58 PM »
I've just watched this episode and it is one of the ones where the original prize plugs weren't dubbed over and I noticed that the consolation prize plugs didn't fill up the whole screen (you can still see the corners of the background video) so you can make out in the background Kirk looking for his signal before the steps and after the steps a production assistant stepping forward and the two losing teams running out of the picture. Does anyone know of any other episodes where the same thing happens? I've uploaded a few quick pics to Flickr

The Heart Room / St. Petersburg Times article (Sep 19, 1993)
« on: January 27, 2010, 08:45:39 PM »
I found an article with a blurb about two contestants that appeared on Legends (it isn't mentioned in the article but their episode is The Lucky Pig of Amelia Earhart). There really isn't anything mentioned that isn't common knowledge, but it does mention that the show was taped on Aug 10, 1993.

The Pit / Legends Season One Nickelodeon Promo
« on: January 27, 2010, 05:13:27 PM »
I tried searching to see if this was posted, but didn't see it so I apologize if someone already posted it. I found this promo for Season One that someone uploaded on Youtube. It has Kirk and Olmec bickering back and forth.

The Heart Room / Easiest Moat Crossing
« on: January 27, 2010, 04:47:32 PM »
What moat crossing do you think was the easiest? I think the one where the players had to swing across on the rope to the other side was pretty easy.

The Heart Room / Season Three Layout
« on: January 27, 2010, 04:42:04 PM »
Has any reason ever emerged as to why the Season 3 layout never changed? The only reason I can think of is that it made things easier on the production crew by not having to change/create new rooms. Plus it gave Kirk less of a chance to butcher the room names if they stayed the same the entire season.
