But that layout was hard either way, and they made it one room away. Which is something the Xerxes and Lily Crested Crown kids can't say. Dean was hesitant, but Chrystine did great in the minute she had. Besides, the half pendant was pinned WAY too high. I probably wouldn't have seen it either. As for Levi and Candace, they for sure would've done better than Pat and Noelle. They would've gotten off the bottom floor at least.

I don't really blame Chrystine for missing the half-pendant either. It was definitely pretty far up in the Pit of the Pendulum. Not only that, but the Pendant also blended into the wall. She even backtrack and tried looking for it. I can tolerate this one more than any of the other S3 triple captures. And it only would've made a different between the first and second prize. It's not like all of those S2 triple captures where they passed the half-pendant in plain sight and still had enough time to win. *cough Nathan Hale, Queen Nzinga, and Sultan Suleiman cough*

How do you think Jonathan and Olivia would have done with the "Apanuugpak" layout? [Although the path is identical, the temple guard placement is not.]

Olivia and Jonathan were a good team, but I am not sure how they would fare with the Apanuugpak layout. Olivia didn't last long in the temple, so I am not sure how she would perform while lasting longer in the temple. Then again, Amanda moved at an average speed, so I am sure that Olivia could've done better than her at least. Jonathan was not as fast as Gator, but he was still a good contestant anyways. If Olivia left him more time than Amanda did for Gator, I think the "William the Conqueror" kids could've won in this layout. This is also assuming that Olivia and Jonathan don't make the same mistakes like they did in their run.

I would assume the Olivia would have had a similar performance, unless her climbing the wall in the Pit was caused by being flustered by the Crypt guard. In that case, she would have saved time. I think that Jonathan did a great job in the temple, and while he may not have been as quick as Gator, I think that he would have fared pretty well. Since he would have encountered the guard in the Shrine instead of the Ancient Warriors and since the rightmost armor would have activated the door to the Chamber of the Sacred Markers, I don't think he would have gotten stalled in the Ancient Warriors. That would have also saved quite a bit of time.
