Welcome to the Legends of the Hidden Temple "Best Legends win" tournament. In this tournament, we are trying to figure out the best win in the history of Legends. Every day I will hold a series of different matchups that will feature two wins on the show. Your job is to pick what episode you believe is the better of the two. After 24 hours. the episode with the most vote will proceed onto the next round.

RULES:
- Each matchup will be open for a total of 24 hours. Once that window of time is up, the winner of the poll will be revealed.
- You are allowed to change your vote anytime during the 24 hour window. But the last vote before time is up is the one that will be final.
- All you have to simply do is select which of the two wins that you feel deserves to progress longer.
- You don't have to reveal your vote to the public, that is only optional. Your vote will be confidential until the 24 hour time frame is up.
- Please vote in the poll! The more people that vote, the more fun this tournament will be. All it takes is less than 30 seconds to vote.
- Have fun

In yesterday's matchup, "The Lost Hornpipe of the Pirate Captain" beat "The Mask of Shaka Zulu" 5-0. That means "Pirate Captain" will advance to the next round.

***FEATURED MATCHUP***
"       "

VS.

"THE IVORY HUNTING HORN OF ROLAND"

Oh look, a matchup between two of my least favorite wins on the show. Even though neither win is anywhere near my favorite, I will easily vote for "The Ivory Hunting Horn of Roland". It was a simple win and Yakerra honestly wasn't that great, but it was a much better effort than "     ". Seriously, "     " is easily the most undeserving win on the show. How does it take a full 2:30 to push two actuators and sit on a Throne? Erika wasn't a bad contestant, but Jeremy was slow and clueless. He looked around the rooms cluelessly and the stupid ending celebration makes this win more unlikable. They wouldn't have won if they had a to take the long way. Although "Roland" had a very simple layout also and she wouldn't have had a full minute left if her layout wasn't so simple.

Yeah, gotta say Roland as well. One thing I've noticed is most of these match ups are so one sided. Even if they are randomized.

I agree. I just wish that The Star of Sultan Saladin went up against      instead of Roland. It is what it is.

I agree, most of the matchups so far have been one-sided. But if you wait a little longer, I promise that they will start getting more competitive as we weave out the undeserving and weaker wins more. Tomorrow's matchup might be close also.  :mrred:

I honestly thought "The Ivory Hunting Horn of Roland" was one of the show's better wins. :o While it's true that the path was very short, Yakerra still did a great job in my opinion, because she was smart enough not to pass up important shortcuts, plus that path did include a really hard room or two: the Tomb of the Headless Kings and the Jester's Court.  Those stopped up a lot of players, but she managed to make it through at a great pace and even escaped in only about twenty seconds, which is fast for going from the Shrine to the gate (Zac only took 18 seconds, IIRC).  I think the only thing she really did wrong was try the Temple Guard door by mistake, but she did great with the setup in the episode and it paid off.

I find it overrated honestly. Yakerra's path was lucky and she probably wouldn't have over a minute to spare if she had to go through more rooms. While it's an immense improvement over Shaka Zulu (and Silk Ladder) for that matter, it wasn't that great. She did move fast though, and it was a good effort by her. But that's all I'll give her.

I honestly never thought highly of the "Roland" win either. While Yakerra did have to face two time consuming rooms, when you compare this win to all the other season three wins, she had it very simple. I was surprised also that she was allowed to enter the Shrine directly from the Dark Forest. All the other Shrine temple runs like "Bandit Queen", "Egyptian Queen", and "Poseidon" forced the team around the Room of the Secret column. And another thing that annoyed me about this run was Kraig's voice. I mean I know he was rooting for his partner, but it always irritated me. But if there is one thing that I do love about this win, it is the ending to it where Yakerra is playing with the spider. But between this win and "Benzibab", they are my least favorite of season three.

Although I had no idea that Yakerra exited the Shrine that fast with the artifact. Maybe I never paid attention to that detail because she tried exiting the Shrine temple guard door. To me, I consider this the legitimiate fastest temple run as "Shaka Zulu" feels tainted. Although I don't really think highly of either.  :?
