Interesting Coincidences

[The Silver Monkey]

I'm sure it comes as no surprise that Legends had it's fair share of interesting coincidences. Here are some of the ones I've noticed:

• Both the first and last episodes ever recorded featured Red Jaguar runs.
• Every filming day of Season 3 contained at least one Green Monkey run.
• Every episode on the last filming day of Season 2 Layout 2 had a tiebreaker.
• Both episodes whose temple runs were filmed with a different layout than the rest of the show had artifacts in the Shrine.

And a couple concerning the Broken Wing and Broken Trident episodes:

• Both artifacts were "broken".
• Both were unsuccessful solo runs.
• Both artifacts were hidden in the Shrine.
• The Temple Games were Green vs. Silver in both episodes.
• Both Legends dealt with Greek Mythology.

Let's look at all those artifacts with a team color in their name (so no golden artifacts count):

The Imperial Purple Robe of Empress Theodora
The Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu
The Silver Cannonball of Granny Nanny
The Silver Horseshoe of Butch Cassidy
The Silver Saddle Horn of Hannibal

None of them had the appropriate team go after them.  As far as the animal-related artifacts go, the only appropriate one was the Silver Snakes going after the Snake Bracelet of Cleopatra.

All the Purple Parrots victories had a Red-Green-Purple-Silver combination at the Steps of Knowledge.

The Green Monkeys never won when the artifact was in the Shrine of the Silver Monkey.

Here's some more color combination coincidences:

Out of all the 4 episodes that featured the Blue-Orange-Purple-Silver color combination on the Steps of Knowledge:
~ 3 out of those 4 episodes featured Orange vs. Purple in the temple games. (Those episodes being Much Heralded Helmet, Enourmous Feather, and Levitating Dog Leash).
~ Out of those 3 episodes, not only did orange beat pruple all 3 times
~ but 2 of those 3 episodes were victories, (Helmet and Dog Leash).
~ The other episode, (Enourmous Feather), the artifact was grabbed but not brought out in time.
~ The other Blue-Orange-Purple-Silver combination, (The Priceless Portrait), featured the Purple Parrots in the temple games as well, but had Silver Snakes going to the temple.
~ Just like the Enourmous Feather, the team in the Priceless Portrait episode grabbed the artifact, but did not bring it out in time.
(So with that color combination, 2 of those episodes were victories, and 2 of those episodes were unsucessful grabbings). I'll post some more later.

How about:

~Both runs where the frontrunner needed to complete nine room objectives were both Green Monkey runs (Ponce de Leon and the Fountain of Youth and the Very Tall Turban of Ahmed Baba)

~All three Season Two, Layout One runs were Orange Iguanas runs

~Both temple runs that featured the word "Apple" in it were Green Monkey runs (Applewood Amulet of Emiliano Zapata and the Dried Apple Half of William Tell)

That's all I have right now.

Here are some more: (This regards random combinations between Green, Orange, and Purple).

~ It always seemed like whenever it was Red-Green-Orange-Silver on the Steps of Knowledge, it would be Green vs. Orange in the temple games.

~ It always seemed like whenever it was Red-Green-Purple-Silver on the steps, it would be Green vs. Purple in the temple games.

~ It always seemed like when ever it was Red-Green-Orange-Purple on the steps, it would be Orange vs. Purple in the temple games.

(Again, this is amongst Green, Orange, and Purple's color combinations).

Blue Vs. Orange is the color combination in the temple games that occured the least. (Only appeared in Lost Logbooks, Paintbrush, Shriveled Hand, and Walking Stick). Out of those 4 episodes:
~ The only time blue beats orange is in the "Lost Logbooks" episode.
~ Also, the "results" for the temple runs were evenly matched. (Meaning, the teams were caught by three temple guards and ran out of time in 2 episodes each). In "Lost Logbooks" and "Walking Stick," the team was caught by 3 temple guards. And in "Shriveled Hand" and "Paintbrush," the teams ran out of time.

In each season, the last day of production had nothing but Temple Runs where the artifact was at least grabbed (but usually also taken out of the Temple) before time ran out.

Well I said that featured the Blue Barracudas, and the two that did feature the Blue Barracudas were Lucky Pig and Lucky Pillow. I would never leave out such a good episode lol.

This is a more personal one, but the first episode I added to TKS was Lawrence of Arabia's headdress, before I knew it was also the first episode ever aired.
