For me Good Luck Watch gets a 7. Jay was fast, but Janeen didn't give it any will to a victory, at least he could grab the Watch. Otherwise, when entering the Shrine she already assumed there was a temple guard in there. Her pose says it all.
I think she got scared from the beginning, after the skeletons shouted at her, but anyway, nice run to see once and again

Empress Eugenie ends with a 7.33 score.

Next bottom of the central shaft run will be "Elizabeth I's Golden Ship".

I gave the Golden Ship a 4. While this was the quickest loss on the show and the players moved through 4 rooms, you can't really blame the final outcome on Gabby and Joe. The temple guard placement was a little unfair and the half-pendant was very obscure also. On the downside though, this team was too slow to begin with. They should've had 2:00+ on the clock by the time of their capture. But had they used their remaining time of 1:30+, then they would've at least made decent progress. I think they would've made it one room away at best. And the Red Jaguars weren't a clueless team, just a slow one. Which is why I didn't give Gabby and Joe a really low score.

I gave the Golden Ship team a 3. The guards were stockpiled toward the outside of the temple and the half pendant was obscured, but the team should have had a lot more time left on the clock when the run ended.

I gave them a 4. Joe and Gabby weren't terrible players, they were just too slow. Though even if they had a full pendant, they still would've lost.

I gave them a 4, for the same reasons everyone else stated.
Favorite Episode(s): The Much-Heralded Helmet of Sir Gawain, the Milk Bucket of Freydis, the Discarded Seal of Ivan the Terrible
Favorite Team: Purple Parrots
Favorite Room(s): The Dark Forest, followed by the Lightning Room and the Shrine of the Silver Monkey

I have a baseball game that I will be going again early tomorrow and I will have to work also. I think I am going to end Golden Ship's time here with 7 votes. If anyone wants to still vote for this run, just post the rating you want to give it and I will adjust the score. With that being said, Golden Ship gets a 3.71 score.

Next temple run will be "The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea".

There is no doubt that in my mind that Queen Boadicea is the best bottom of the central shaft temple run. This team had a pretty tough layout and they were the closest to pulling off a bottom of the central shaft win. The temple loss was very exciting and is probably one of the top 5 losses on the show. The team didn't really win though thanks to Lissy. She hesitated in the Crypt and stalled too much in the Pit and Chamber of the Sacred Markers. Nate was an amazing second runner though and he even reached the Royal Torque with 15 seconds left. This is especially good considering Lissy only left him with 2:00 minutes after only completing 3 rooms. He was also smart for taking the high road out of the temple too. If only Lissy didn't stall at the beginning, the Red Jaguars would've won. I gave this run a 9 on account that they were a very good team in the temple and the whole temple run is very exciting. While I do like "Polynesian Girl" slightly better, Boadicea is the better one all around when it comes to team performance. So I gave it a 9.  :mrred:

I personally gave Queen Boadicea a 9. It was a great bottom central shaft run, but I just don't feel like it should get a perfect "10." Plus, Lissy moved pretty slow, Nate was a great player though.

I gave it a 9. If it weren't for Lissy, this run could've been an amazing win.

I was about to give them a 9 too, but it was my bias towards my favorite team is why I gave them a 10.  :P  But Lissy does bring this run down. If she didn't stall as much as the beginning, they would've won.

I will admit that I like Priceless Portrait slightly better than Boadicea since that one was a little more exciting and memorable. Only the Silver Snakes really should've won in that one.  :o

EDIT: I actually changed it to a 9 too. Looking back now, it should not take a whole minute to enter your third room. Still a good run, but Lissy is the reason for the point deduction.

Once again, Lissy did not enter her third room at the two-minute mark; she finished it. The guard did not capture her until the Chamber of the Sacred Markers was completed. It took the average S3 contestant one minute to complete the first room of the central shaft, so she was completely on track for time. I personally don't think that Lissy "stalled," especially in the Pit.

That being said, I agree that Nate had a very strong performance in the temple. He moved swiftly through the temple and completed his objectives well.

Overall, I gave this run a 9 because it was the strongest "Bottom of the Central Shaft" run. I like the Royal Torque run better than Polynesian Girl because the Polynesian Girl team had a very high possibility of scoring a victory, but the long delay in the Pit/Mandarin Hand/Observatory ruined that chance. At least with Royal Torque, the team continued to move forward and did not dawdle around at all.

And Queen Boadicea ends with a perfect 9.00!  :mrred:

We have one more bottom of the central shaft run to cover and the one I almost forgot, "The Priceless Portrait of the Polynesian Girl".  :mrsilver:

I gave the Polynesian Girl run the same score I gave to Boadicea - a 9. While the Boadicea team was slightly better, I actually like the Polynesian Girl slightly better overall. This is actually my favorite bottom of the central shaft run because of how exciting and memorable it was. Scott Jim the Mechanic moved very fast in his short time in the temple. Kristen took over, but she hesitated too much at the beginning of the run. But at least she found her piece of the half-pendant. Once she got on the bottom floor though, she really picked up the pace and the ending was a nail biter. Had she not stalled at the beginning of the run, this Silver Snakes team would've won. Overall, this run is very exciting and memorable from the down to the wire artifact grab to Kristen being an artist and being the one to grab the Priceless Portrait. This was a great way to end S2, it would've been even better if Jim and Kristen actually won.  :mrsilver:
