Rate the Triple Capture Run - Day 14: The Pendant of Kamehameha

I gave them a 3. This is probably a bottom 3 run behind Sacred Ring and Nathan Hale (and maybe behind Elizabeth I as well), but I don't think it's the worst. Benjamin was alright, but Renee blew it. I don't think it's worthy of a 2, but it's close.

We have three more triple captures left! The next one is going to be "The Walking Stick of Harriet Tubman".

I gave Harriet Tubman a 3. I was going to give this one a higher score, but the ending to this run was so lame. All Ryann had to simply do was use the Ledges and this team would've been fine. The team was only average at beast anyways. Chris made it far, but getting to the Shrine with 1:23 is not that impressive. A few seconds later, Ryann runs into the Crypt and ends this run. Nothing much to say about this one except the team could've easily avoided it. One of the golden rules of the temple is to always follow your partner's steps.

I gave them a 3. This run wouldn't have ended the way it did if Ryann simply followed Chris's path.

Since I will be at a baseball game all day tomorrow, I don't know when I will update this. Plus, with 6 votes, I think we got everyone who usually votes in these. So Harriet Tubman finishes with a 3.33.

The next featured triple capture is "The Useless Map of the Chibcha Chieftain".

I gave the Useless Map triple capture a 7. The Orange Iguanas were a good team, but they had bad luck with their temple layout. With one pendant, all you can do best is to get lucky and avoid one guard. They were one of the very few teams (next to Kamehameha) to have their run ended with one pendant. It would've helped if Katie went to the King's Storeroom from the Pit. And Jared for that matter too. If they would've done that, they would've avoided both the central shaft AND triple capture. I think this team really would've reached the Dark Forest if it wasn't for the disappointing ending. But still, I don't mind this triple capture too much. If only they won their final temple game.

That would be awesome if you could. I don't know when I will get back tomorrow (probably late evening). Even though I have the Useless Map poll up now, I might not have time to make the Kamehameha one. You can add that any time if I am not on.

First of all, it's Hallie, not Katie. And second of all, I'll set up the poll for Kamehameha if you're still not on by tomorrow evening.

And I gave Hallie and Jared a 7. They were a good team, they just got extremely unlucky in the third temple game. And they just ran into some bad luck in the temple run. Though it would've helped if Hallie had entered the King's Storeroom instead of the Tomb.

I won't probably be home until 10:00 pm or later. I might pop in on my phone a couple of times, but I definitely won't be able to update any lists or polls while on my phone. So I do appreciate any help.

I also gave them a 7. They were a pretty good team. It's too bad they had bad luck in their 3rd temple game and in their temple run. The first room guard was really unlucky. I don't blame Hallie for sticking with the bottom door because your instincts take over at that point, especially when you're on the same level as an opened door. I can't hold that against her (I forget if she tried climbing up before entering the Tomb, but whatever). I know Jared could've entered the King's Storeroom right away, but he didn't know he would have to tackle the entire central column. He was screwed either way.

A good team that got robbed with one pendant. They probably would've reached the Useless Map if it weren't for the temple guards.

I gave it a 7 as well.  This triple capture was one part mistake, two parts unlucky.  You can barely blame this one on the team itself, so they still deserve a high score for at least doing what they did pretty fast.

To be honest, I was actually considering giving them an 8. They were pretty good.
