I take it the Bills need to win out and the Steelers, Chargers, and Ravens need to lose out in order for Buffalo to get in due to tiebreakers. I'm pulling for the Bills, but even if they don't get in, what a magical year this has been for them. I never would've predicted they'd be in this spot right now. Good for them.

I gotta say it. Who the fuck is the coach of the Tennessee Titans? Whoever it is, he needs to be fired NOW for losing to the lowly Jets. I know we lost to them too, but at least we've recovered. The Titans just flat out suck.

Ken Whisenhunt, if you remember him from Arizona.

Looks like it will be Mariotta madness in either Tampa or Nashville.

How could I forget? He's the one that almost led Arizona to that one Super Bowl against us years ago. How far he has fallen. :?

I'd still fire him. Better yet, while we're at it, let's just disband the Titans altogether.

I feel that Tennessee disbanded and disguised themselves as an NFL team.  :P

The Cowboys are destroying the Eagles. It's gonna be a shame to see one of these teams miss the playoffs while a pathetic South team gets in with a bad record because I've enjoyed watching these two teams play this year.

Yeah. No one in the NFC south deserves a playoff spot this year.  You'd think the NFL would've made some changes to the playoff format after the Seahawks won the NFC West at 7-9 a few years ago.

I spoke too soon. Eagles are storming back with 17 unanswered. Now they just recovered a stupid fumble by Romo.

Here's what I'd do with the playoffs. Keep the four division champs, but add a third wild card team. That would make seven playoff teams. The team with the best record in the conference gets a bye in the first week of the playoffs, leaving the other six teams to play each other. It would be 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, and 4 vs 5 with the 1 seed getting the lowest remaining seed. That way a wild card with a good record doesn't get robbed by a division winner with a losing record.

It looks like the road warrior Cowboys are at it again! They should lose the division to the Eagles so they get the wildcard and play the playoffs on the road. ;afro: But good for them and the Lions for avoiding their usual late season collapses.

Nothing really to say about this week. The biggest surprise is the Bills beating the Packers and holding Rodgers with no touchdowns! I totally did not see that coming at all! Good for them though because it will give the fans something exciting to look forward to next season. Their last two games are @ Oakland and @ New England. They will probably lose to the Patriots, but beating the Raiders will give them 9 wins and a step into the right direction.  ;)

I went to the Ravens game today and our win against Jacksonville was UGLY. I mean they were running trick plays like an onside kick and fake punt against us and were even leading us during half-time. But then they reverted to the Jaguars in the second half and laid a goose egg. I am not too confident about the team after this win, but I will take it either way.

And it looks like Johnny Football is not the answer for Cleveland. His first NFL debut and he lays a goose egg? What were the Browns thinking? It's hard to believe they were 6-3 at one time and now they are 7-7. They are pretty much out of the AFC North and playoff picture now. They probably won't even win another game. Typical Browns and their losing ways.

And the NFC South is really going to screw some team over. I mean a 5-8 division leader right now? I still think the Saints will win it with 8 wins though. They have the Bears, Saints, and Bucs who all have joke defenses. But still, a 10-11 team might miss the playoffs thanks to this awful division.

Although I am one of those people that thinks that the playoff structure is just fine. Okay, there are years where the division leader has a much lower record than the wildcard team. But my opinion is that the wildcard team should try to win their division if they want the home game in the playoffs. Even if the division is a beast like the AFC North. If the Ravens don't win the division, they deserve the road playoff game.

Why are the Bears on prime time so much? This is their third straight prime time game! They five total this year - @ Jets, @ Packers, @ Lions, vs. Cowboys, and tonight vs. Saints. What is so great about them? They were 8-8 last year and lost their coach to the Bucs. I understand Chicago is a big market, but do they really deserve 5 games? Not even the Steelers or Colts got that many games and they have been more competent than Chicago.

This is Chicago's 6th prime time game, they had one on week 2 vs the 49ers.

Wow, that's a total load of crap. Not even GB got that many prime time games and they were the division leaders last year! I hope they get no more than 2-3 prime time games next year. Of course, the NFL loves nut-hugging certain teams like the Giants, Redskins, and Bears with prime time games when they don't deserve them.
