I am surprised some of the Rams teams from a few years back didn't make that list.  :o

I'm a bit surprised by all these big players already getting hurt.

These four are out for the year

Jeremy Maclin, Eagles WR
Dennis Pitta, Ravens TE
Percy Harvin , Seahawks WR
Bryan Bulaga, Packers LT

I think the Seahawks won't be as good as people say they will be.

I also believe that whoever wins in the week 1 game between the Packers & the 49ers, will probably get the #1 seed most likely. I'm a bit worried about the Packers due to the latest injuries with certain players. It feels like since 2010 the injury bug stays to bother us.

We also have got Kicker problems. As you all know that I've had enough of Crosby choking, he went 3/8 on the family night including two misses <40! He only made a 40, 47, & 51. Meanwhile we signed some free agent and my concern was leg strength. He did go 6/7 on family night, but he barely made the 51 & 53 yard attempts and choked on 47. I don't know what Mike McCarthy has up his sleeve, but he better do something.

We also have a problem at backup QB if by any reason Aaron Rodgers goes down. Harrell & Coleman both played terrible scrimmages and that would get me worried if Rodgers gets hurt. They both overthrow their targets. I heard we did sign Vince Young to be a backup and knowing that he has experience, he should be better than both Harrell & Coleman. God, I remembered when Harrell took over for one play in week 4 last year he fumbled the snap.

Another Packer I want out is Jermichael Finley, he drops too much the past two years now.

I feel a lot better with the running game now with the two backs we got in the draft, Eddie Lacy & Johnathan Franklin. They both had a really good scrimmage, especially Lacy. The fans can't wait to see him. James Starks might be good too if he's healthy enough.

Defense was my biggest worry last year and what Adrian Peterson & Colin Kaepernick did to us last year was deadly. We cannot allow those big gains to happen. We play both of them this year (Peterson twice), RGIII, Ray Rice, & Michael Vick if he lasts the middle of the season.

Overall, I expect a 11-5 or 12-4 record  :mryellow: + 1 for the Thumb  :mryellow:

Oh, I almost forgot, do not get me started on the Jets!

Believe it or not, but the first NFL kick-off starts this Thursday! Of course, my Super Bowl champion Ravens will start the very first game on the road with Denver. It is going to be a big game for sure, especially after the AFC divisional game last year. Can't wait!

Here are my predictions:

Thursday September 5, 2013

Baltimore Ravens at Denver Broncos

Sunday September 8, 2013

New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills
Tennessee Titans at Pittsburgh Steelers
Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New York Jets
Kansas City Chiefs at Jacksonville Jaguars
Seattle Seahawks at Carolina Panthers
Cincinnati Bengals at Chicago Bears
Miami Dolphins at Cleveland Browns
Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions
Oakland Raiders at Indianapolis Colts
Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers
Arizona Cardinals at St. Louis Rams
New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys

Monday September 9, 2013

Philadelphia Eagles
at Washington Redskins
Houston Texans at San Diego Chargers

Ravens already up 7-0 right now and have almost shut out Denver in the first quarter. Not that it means anything because Manning usually sucks in the first game he plays. :P

It looks like the jury is still out for Mr. Super Bowl MVP. He didn't look that stellar in the second half of this game. And the defense looks tired out there also. It didn't help that our punter muffed a kick and Flacco threw a interception.

Oh well, congrats to the Broncos for their very first win. And to Peyton Manning for his TD record he tied. It sucks to get embarrassed like that for the very first game, but we will be fine. I am not mad at all actually. I am looking forward to Sunday now for sure. Go Titans, Dolphins, and Bears. :P
