Rate the Failed Escape Run - Day 6: The Enormous Feather of the Me Linh

I personally like Atahualpa a little more, but Sir Edmund Hilary was a great run too. And the latter run was THE first ever failed escape too. And you're right, if the Genghis Khan or Snake Bracelet team had Sir Edmund Hilary's layout, they wouldn't have won at all. Atahualpa to me has more going for it, and it's more memorable. It's a very underrated run too. It's just like Chandragupta where people overlook it way too much, and it needs to be praised more. But like you said, people just overlook Atahualpa because of the detour into the Heart Room. I personally love Atahualpa, and that and Sir Edmund Hilary are some of the better Season 1 episodes.

Does anyone want to still vote in this thread? I was thinking of dusting this thread off after a two month long absence. But I wasn't sure if anyone was gonna vote in this poll at all. Do you guys consider this thread a good idea? Does anyone want to do this anymore? If you guys say no, I'll understand. I just want to check with everyone first.

I certainly want to continue this thread!  A long with the other rating threads too. I know not many people vote here now, but these threads are fun and sort of keep this board a live. The next run is also Enormous Feather, so I am looking forward to rating it. Especiall since we have been talking about it a lot lately. I definitely want to continue this rating thread and my rating thread.

I gave this run a 3. But I honestly think it deserves lower than that. This team barely scraped by all episode, with David doing on the work, only to have Karisa go in there and screw everything up. Karisa just didn't belong in the temple at all. After being left PLENTY of time to grab the artifact and win, Karisa just walks through every room and gets trapped in THE QUICKSAND BOG! Of all places, she just stands there shrugging her shoulders! And then when she finally does reach the artifact, she makes no effort to speed up. -_- This was a terrible temple run and this team did NOT deserve to go to the temple. Should've been the Purple Parrots. They probably would've won with that layout. Since it wasn't even that hard at all. But of course, they lost at yet another tiebreaker.

And of course tomorrow's run is no prize either. Just like this run, we have also talked about it recently.

I gave Enormous Feather a 1. There were a handful of frustrating failed escapes - Anne Bonny, Lost Lariat, Icarus, Broken Trident, etc. but this one was the weakest of them all. There are no words to describe how much I HATE this temple run. It was one of those runs that legitimately made me upset when it was over. Karisa was a sorry excuse for a runner and I don't know how she feels the need to move so damn slow when she is racing against the clock. Not only that, she got confused in the damn Quicksand Bog. >_< I don't know how she even got to the Feather in the first place. It was because David set her up with a nice path and the layout was easy. She was so damn bad that even Kirk was shouting at her to move faster! What an awful temple run and I can't find anything nice to say about it. Even if David was a pretty good frontrunner. But Karisa was a waste of space and I would rather her pull a Harriet Tubman than watch her suck it up in the temple.         If any failed escape run deserves the lowest score possible, it is this one right here.

Yeah, this temple run was just terrible all around. How outer space said they deserved to go to the temple is beyond me.

And guess what's coming up tomorrow.... Poseidon. Another dimwitted player who blew their load, big time.
