I received a lap dance from Britney Spears. She was wearing a green-sparkly dress and at the same time, I was in sweat and the song "Toxic" was playing as well. Although I had that dream around 2004-2005.

I wish I could have dreams like that. God knows how I've tried...

The Dark Forest / Song lyrics thread

Since we're being so "1985" here, this song was a big hit in that year.

"Born in the USA"
Bruce Springsteen

Born down in a dead man's town
The first kick I took was when I hit the ground
You end up like a dog that's been beat too much
Till you spend half your life just covering up

Born in the USA, I was born in the USA
I was born in the USA, born in the USA

Got in a little hometown jam
So they put a rifle in my hand
Sent me off to a foreign land
To go and kill the yellow man

Born in the USA, I was born in the USA
I was born in the USA, born in the USA

Come back home to the refinery
Hiring man said, son if it was up to me
Went down to see my VA man
He said son, don't you understand?

I had a brother at Khe Sahn
Fightin' off the VietCong
They're still there, he's all gone

He had a woman he loved in Saigon
I got a picture of him in her arms now

Down in the shadow of the penitentiary
Out by the gas fires of the refinery
I'm ten years burnin' down the road
Nowhere to run, ain't got nowhere to go

Born in the USA, I was born in the USA
Born in the USA, I'm a long gone daddy in the USA
Born in the USA, born in the USA
Born in the USA, I'm a cool rockin' daddy in the USA

The Treasure Room / Was the artifact real?
« on: July 14, 2009, 04:14:50 PM »
The first artifact that comes to my mind is The Electrified Key of Benjamin Franklin.  It's common knowledge Franklin did indeed fly a kite with a key attached to it in a thunderstorm.  However, the legend incorporates Franklin's wife, Debbie, and Franklin conducted this experiment while he was still a young bachelor.

Wikipedia says that The Heart-Shaped Pillow of Annie Taylor was also real.  However, I've learned to take what Wikipedia says with about a million grains of salt.

The Chamber of the Ancient Chalices? Takes place of the Room of the Ancient Warriors? In the back of the room are three chalices. The player must place the three chalices in the three pedestals, but there isn?t a particular order to place them, nor do they have to be ?correctly placed?. Once all the three chalices are placed, the doors will open.

The Crow?s Nest? Takes place of the Room of the Secret Password? No, it has nothing to do with the annoying black bird. xD In this room, there are three telescopes hung on the walls of this room. The players must place one of the telescopes in the correct telescope holder to release the doors. Copy of the Torch Room, I know?

Shipwreck Falls? Takes place of the Pharoah?s Secret Passage? Nothing has changed except for heavy pirate theming including a jolly rancher being hung at the slide?s entrance and the slide being painted a shade of shimmering metallic gold.

The Galley? Takes place of the Quicksand Bog? The Galley is a heavily-rethemed Quicksand Bog with treasure themed ball-pit balls (colored gold, red, and green to represent gold and jewels) as well as various traces of pirate theming (cargo net, pirate flags, etc.) The objective is the same?to get out of the room by either climbing Shipwreck Falls, going into the Shrine of the Silver Monkey, or smashing down the stone wall.

A "Jolly Rancher"? Well, even Temple Guards have to eat, I guess... :x

Did I mention that I hate the Jester's Court?

The Dark Forest / Best/Favorite/or wierdest dream u ever had?
« on: July 14, 2009, 03:34:09 PM »
I have a bad dream story AND a good dream story.

The bad one:
When I was about 10, I had this dream that my eyes were shrinking. I went to the doctor, he gave me some medicine, and the bottle it was in broke. When I woke up, I immediately checked my eyes to see if they were the right size. Just as a precaution...

The good one:
This is a much more recent one, about three months ago. I went on an expedition to Africa to study savannah animals--elephants, zebras, lions, leopards, you name it. This has always been one of my life's dreams, but I doubt it'll ever be a reality.  Le sigh... :(
