I say we can end this one a little early since I am going to be really busy later. Useless Map ends with a 7.67 score.

Next up is Robbie, Tina, and the straggling Dungeon guard from Kamehameha.  :mrsilver:

Day Thirty Five: The Pendant of Kamehameha
Artifact Location - Spider's Lair
Players - Robbie and Tina
Rooms Entered - 11

I gave Kamehameha an 8. I know that Robbie and Tina brought the triple capture onto themselves, but this layout always seemed tough to me. The path was really long for them, and most Season 1 players took a direct path in the temple. I know there was a shorter route through the Observatory, but most of the Season 1 contestants didn't know better about the direct path. I always thought the Dungeon guard was cheap too. It was so deep in the temple that even if Robbie and Tina didn't go into the Throne Room, they might've been removed in the Dungeon instead. Plus, there was no real shortcuts like the Shrine-Tomb passage either. Even though the Silver Snakes would've won if it didn't end in triple capture, this layout was pretty long and most of the other Season 1 teams wouldn't come close. It was only because they were a fast team that they almost one. But the long layout and unusual temple guard placement gives this run a high score.

I also gave this layout an 8, for same reasons as TRJ. It's funny how for two runs in a row, it was a triple capture with one pendant.

That and the path that was taken was almost identical (excluding Tina's detour into the Room of the Three Gargoyles). The path itself felt identical to Useless Map, except the artifacts were in slightly different locations. Even though the rooms in this run were much easier, I also gave it an 8, just like I did with Useless Map. Even though the Observatory would've opened from the pit, you can't really fault the team for starting low considering it was an early season 1 run. They really didn't know better. The path was long and the locations of the temple guards was really unfair. Having one pendant didn't help matters.

Yeah, the layout would be long whether Robbie and Tina started in the Observatory or not. Even if Robbie started in the Observatory, it still would've been an 8 room trek to the Spider's Lair. So it wasn't that easy even with the solo chance. I also agree with you about the direct path. Most of the Season 1 players didn't know better. It doesn't bug me as much as Golden Ship where it was way too obvious that the Throne Room would not open. It would've been better if Robbie and Tina won their team game and enter the temple with two pendants.
