I also gave it a 7. This was quite an interesting layout and we don't even know what would've opened from the Shrine of the Silver Monkey. Add in the fact that this Medusa's Lair required 4 snakes instead of 2 makes this a fairly difficult configuration.

I agree about the 4 snakes Medusa's Lair making the layout pretty difficult. Even though Whitney from Captain John Smith spent less time in Medusa's Lair, the Red Jaguars only added one extra room of progress compared to the Stone Head team. I am not sure if a team like Atocha or Enormous Iron Nose Ring would win this layout. Tony shouldn't have taken over a minute in that room, but you can tell how frustrated he was with aligning the snakes into her head.

I'm giving this layout a 6. It was tricky, but it wasn't THAT tricky. Very winnable, even for the best players on the show. Tony was just a retard.

I was tempted to give it a 6. If we were going by decimals, I'd probably give it a 6.5, rounding it up to a 7. Not the hardest, but not the easiest. I can definitely see a team like Ashley and Shem winning with this layout. I'll stick with my vote of 7.

Stone Head finishes with a 6.67.

Next up is another awful Swamp run.

I gave Grandy Nanny a 5. Unlike "Stone Head", this layout was more simple. Yet, Jonathan and Olivia were just pathetic in the temple. If Heather and Tony had this layout, they probably would've made it one room away at least. But these two were bad and lost because of their incompetence. This layout was pretty easy, but the Orange Iguanas blew their load.

Amber, not Olivia. ;)

Olivia and Jonathan (in Comet-Embroidered Battle Flag) were WAY better. ;)

I also gave this layout a 5. It was winnable for the most part, but Amber and Jonathan had no idea what they were doing.

Grandy Nanny finishes with a 4.75. I hope Jonathan and Olivia can forgive me too for comparing them to this crap team.

Now we move onto Jennifer and Damian from Map to the Lost Gold Mine  :mrblue:

I gave the Lost Gold Mine layout a 7. I honestly never thought of this layout being easy at all. The Blue Barracudas had to enter 8 rooms enroute to the artifact, and that includes no shortcuts given to them either. Not many Season 1 teams would've won because slow speed won't cut it with this layout. So I don't think teams like the Trojan Horseshoe or Shaka Zulu woulld've won. This was a quality win with a pretty difficult layout.

I gave it a 6. The objectives were pretty easy, but it was a lengthy layout. Like TRJ said, I doubt a team like Trojan Horseshoe or Shaka Zulu would've won, no matter how many people try to claim otherwise.

Plus, Jennifer and Damian also had the 6th or 7th temple run on the show? It definitely wouldn't be an easy layout for one of the firsts Season 1 teams. The Trojan Horseshoe team may have won (probably would be an Icarus ending), but no way do I see Shaka Zulu team winning.

Yeah, I agree. How people think Bobby is a better player than Jennifer is beyond me. But of course, this is about layouts....

Alhambra gets a 7 from. While this layout did not look hard at all, the faulty door in the Tomb of the Ancient Kings makes it a really confusing layout. Did the door to the Shrine really open from the Ancient Kings? If it did, then this layout would've been really easy. But when Lisa enters the room, all of the doors in the room were open? I think Lisa was suppose to go up, but she hit a production error instead. That being said, she should NOT have run around like a moron and instead try a different route like the Belshazzar team did. They lost because of her stupidity.
