I am scared to death of snakes and, strangely, escalators. I almost fell down one when I was a kid and get nervous whenever I have to ride them now.  :oops:

I actually wrote about this one in my diary I had when I was a little girl.

The show was taking a commercial break and Kirk announced to the audience that his secret dream had always been to create a new word and get it in the dictionary. Then he read off a bunch of random ones to them: zimbafloggajubakini, neenersheemer, doozank, etc. The audience laughed their heads off, but he never explained what any of them meant.

I always thought The Spiders's Lair and Bamboo Forest were just too easy.  Most contestants figured out that all you had to do was crawl under the webbing or poles.

I remember thinking that the worst prize was the savings bond. Ugh. Yeah, it'll do you good in  the long run, but no kid wants to win a savings bond on a game show.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to say I'm pretty happy to find such a great site and forum dedicated to one of my favorite childhood shows. You can call me Olmec's Priestess, and I'm something of a 90's nostalgia buff.

I think I loved Legends of the Hidden Temple because of Olmec's stories. They were the best part of the show next to the temple runs in my book.
