Rate the Color Combinations (Temple Games Edition) - Purple vs. Silver

The one I was looking forward to the most already happened. But I don't have the SOK from every episode entirely memorized, so I'll be excited when an episode I really love comes up.

I am looking forward to the combination that used Priceless Portrait and Nostradamus. Weren't there only 4 episodes with that combo? I think Priceless Portrait, Nostradamus, and Sir Gawain. That is a really interesting one.

Yeah, that was an interesting one. And yes, it was used only four times. Purple had a great track record with that pair, advancing all four times. We're gonna have to wait a while on that one though.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm sort of looking forward to Red-Green-Purple-Silver. Probably because all three Purple Parrot wins came from that match up.

I gave this one a 6.

I really enjoy the combinations that feature all three secondary colors. The red adds a nice touch to go along with them. So this is a very visually pleasing combination for me.

Unfortunately, not the greatest selection of episodes. So that drags it down somewhat.

Not bad, not spectacular. Pretty average but still good looking, hence my score.

I gave this match up a 2. Why must some of the combinations suck so badly? These colors looked hideous together, and with the exception of Dolley Madison, (and maybe Melted Head), the episode selection here is just terrible. If it helps, Purple did advance 4/6 times from this pair. But the only thing that keeps me from giving this combination a 1 is Dolley Madison being one of the episodes with this match up. Just.... eww.

I gave this one a 1. Now this is the worst combination on the show. This color combo is so ugly. It is like Halloween and Christmas colors mixed together. Also, the episode selection is less than desirable too. The only episode I actually like is Dolley Madison. And all of the Orange Iguana temple teams beat the Purple Parrots. Ugly combination, crappy episode selection, and bad variety makes this one of the worst combos ever.

I'm sorry that my score is so much higher than everyone else's. I really, REALLY enjoy green, orange, and purple together. Plus green and orange were sort of the unofficial Nick colors for a really long time.

Maybe I should start allowing the episode selection to weigh more heavily with my scores. Because in that case I would drop this down to maybe a 3 or 4.

I agree, it is interesting seeing these different results. In fact, none of my polls so far have been unanimous at all. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Diversity is good, like you said.
