I gave this combination a 9 also. This combination featured some of the best team colors on Legends. I am not a big fan of anything with Orange and Silver in it. And the teams in this combination are ones that I like. I also think the episode selection is good. I like Anne Bonny, Empress Eugenie, Pirate Captain, and Blackfeet Chief. The only episode I can't stand is Jean Lafitte. And just like with the last combo, I like how the teams had equal distribution of going to the temple. And it also didn't dominate just one season either. Since I like the appearance, the episode selection, and the nice distribution, it will end with a high score. ;)

I was torn between an 8 and a 9 but went high and gave it a 9. Some good episodes came from this tandem and it really is a great mix of colors.
Top 10 episodes:
1. Lucky Pillow of Annie Taylor
2. Lion Headed Bracelet of Chandragupta
3. Applewood Amulet of Emiliano Zapata
4. Milk Bucket of Freydis
5. Jewel Encrusted Egg of Catherine the Great
6. Much Heralded Helmet of Sir Gawain
7. Snakeskin Boots of Billy the Kid
8. John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Goldmine
9. Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress
10. Discarded Seal of Ivan the Terrible

I agree, episodes like Bone Necklace and even Sacred Ring pre temple were pretty good too. Though it does have some forgettable episodes like Stone Marker (gasp!) and Ponce de Leon in that mix. And then there are some downright infuriating episodes like Anny Bonny and Jean Lafitte. Other than that though, these colors looked absolutely amazing together. And all four teams got a chance too, like already mentioned. ;)

And what a coincidence, I just watched Good Luck Watch and Lost Hornpipe today. With both the same steps AND temple game pairs. How fitting. :mrpurple:

I have a feeling this may be the highest rated combination. Either that or Red-Blue-Orange-Purple, that's coming up in a few days. The latter isn't a bad combination either, but like TRJ mentioned above, there are a lot of pairs that look better without Orange or Silver. ;)

There's also some rad looking combinations that involve silver, to be fair. I'm a big fan of the  Green-Orange-Purple-Silver mix. All secondary colors, no primaries, very interesting visually.

Eh, that match up was okay. Like I said before, I'm not really a fan of combinations that feature too much Orange or Silver. The Discarded Seal and Golden Pepperoni had that match up though, so there's a plus. ;)

I gave this match up a 6. It had some GREAT episodes (Great Seal, Apanuugpak, Sultan Saladin, etc.) to come from the pair. And a lot of these teams won too, or at least had a noteworthy episode in it. But what really drags it down for me, is that this combination was WAY overused, especially in Season 1. It seemed like every other episode had this same match up. Plus, unlike the previous two pairs we have covered, this set of colors looked kind of bland together. I would've given it a 5, but I figure a 6 would've been fitting since it did have some awesome episodes to come from this pair, whether it was a win or not. ;)

I initially gave this combo a 7, but changed it to a 6. It has a couple notable episodes, and more episodes total than any of the other combinations we've seen so far. But I just don't enjoy this particular group of colors together as much as others. Red, Blue, and Green are such dominant colors and then you have Silver just sticking out kind of awkwardly.

I gave this one a 6. I am not a big fan of anything Green and Silver on the same combination, but I do I like the great episode selection  though. A lot of classic episodes and wins are used with this combination. Also, there are way too much episodes for one combination and the Red Jaguars literally only made it to the temple one time. If it wasn't for the great episode selection, I would've given this one a lower score. Here are the episodes I like:

The Helmet of Genghis Khan
The Belly Button of Buddha
Pecos Bill's Lost Lariat
The Jeweled Scabbard of Sforza
The Mussel-Shell Armor of Apanuugpak
Henry VIII's Great Seal
The Collar of Davy Crockett
The Enormous Iron Nose Ring of Babe
The Medal of Sir Edmund Hillary
The Star of Sultan Saladin

I'm honestly surprised Genghis Khan is the only temple run listed up there. You'd think with how much they advanced from that pair, they'd have more temple appearances. And like Brent said, Silver is what really makes this pair stick out like a sore thumb. Red, Blue, and Green look so great together, but Silver kind of ruins it.

And here's a fun fact: 3/4 Green Monkey runs come from beating Blue in the temple games. And 4/6 Silver Snake runs come from beating Red. Silver definitely dominates this list here. But if it's any consolation, tomorrow's match up will be much better. ;)

It's amazing that almost 1/5 of the episodes on the show used the same combination. Yet, you have the combination used in Priceless Portrait only use like 3-4 times?

Was there any combination on the show that was not used?

No. Every combination was used at least four times. Blue-Orange-Purple-Silver and Blue-Green-Orange-Purple were the rarest with four appearances each. Also, the pair tomorrow was not used a lot. And I'll say it yet again: I'm looking forward to it. ;)
