Both of these Silver Snake triple captures are praised a lot on this forum, and it seems like people feel differently about these two runs. So let's settle this once and for all! Which run do you prefer - Kamehameha or Great Seal? Please feel free to express your opinion below. ;)

Anyways, I thought both of these triple captures were the best on the show and they deserve all the love they get. Which one did I vote for? I went with Kamehameha. This temple run is both exciting and tragic at the same time. Robbie and Tina were a very strong and entered every room of the temple with still almost a minute left while finishing one* room away. But the ending to this temple run is very tragic. Robbie was pissed, Tina and Kirk were unhappy, and even the audience felt sorry for them. Of course, the delayed temple guard that captures Tina in the Tomb of the Ancient Kings also made this run memorable.

Great Seal is another exciting run too. All of the temple guard moments were some of the best on the show, and I love Shay's reaction to her two guards. And Nick's ending was a classic too! Even Kirk's lame commentary was hilarious in this episode too. And of course Nick and Shay were a strong team too! However, the I prefer Kamehameha slightly over Great Seal because the heartbreak ending was a little more "touching" than the ending to the Great Seal run. ;)

Two exciting Silver Snake triple captures with crazy endings -- Which one do you guys prefer? :mrsilver:

Honestly, I prefer Great Seal. It was MUCH more exciting and it was A LOT less flawed. Kamehameha could've been a solo victory, but Robbie blew it by taking a direct path. So they completely brought it on themselves. With Great Seal, Nick and Shay couldn't help their loss. The half pendant was nowhere in sight, and they made less mistakes. Plus, the ending was more memorable.

This is why I like Great Seal better:

-- Much more exciting. Both Shay and Nick were fast, and made very few mistakes
-- Kirk's utterly lame commentary was funnier. Even the "that temple guard scared me!" bit
-- The ending with Nick jumping out of the temple was more memorable, and frankly, less depressing
-- Their loss couldn't be helped. The half pendant was NOWHERE in sight, like most Season 1 runs

And here's why I didn't vote for Kamehameha:
-- Way too many mistakes, really silly ones too
-- Robbie took a direct path. Shay did the same, but Robbie was more obvious about it
-- Tina moved pretty slow. Even a little clueless too.
-- The loss was 100% brought on themselves. They could've very well have gone into the Observatory, but didn't.
-- This could've been a solo victory, but both Robbie and Tina blew it. For reasons I stated above.
-- This loss was much more preventable. They lost fair and square, late temple guard or not.

And quite frankly, I'm starting to find Kamehameha a little overrated. Everyone calls it "the next best thing since sliced bread," but this temple run was extremely flawed and both players made way too many silly mistakes. Great run sure, but it's not Lost Hornpipe levels of amazing. That's pushing it. So I'm not gonna get all overexcited and overenthusiastic over some team that lost in a rather painful triple capture. So yeah, Great Seal gets an extremely easy vote from me. End of story. I don't know, am I the only one who thinks this? =/

Henry VIII had a much better run. As previously mentioned, Kamehameha could've been a solo win. Robbie's only Temple Guard should've been in the Dungeon. Tina was very boring to watch too.

Nick jumping or not, this was a better run. Even though I don't know a way that a win was possible whether it was a different route or a half pendant, this is still fun to watch. Nick jumping made it better.

Great Seal probably would've been a win if Shay had used the Gargoyle Room entrance instead of the Cave. Definitely wouldn't have been a solo victory, but Shay and Nick still could've won. Kamehameha could've been a solo win if Robbie had gone straight to the Observatory instead of taking a direct path. But, I guess most Season 1 players don't think that well ahead.

Don't get me wrong, I like Kamehameha, and it's a great run. But Great Seal had much more going for it, and it's much more memorable.

That's the only way that Nick and Shay would've avoided triple capture, unfortunately. The downside to that strategy is that Shay would've been taken out one room away from the artifact. She seemed like a pretty quick runner though, and Nick was pretty fast too. It would've been a long path to retrace, but they were a good team and could've pulled it off. Too bad that it ended in triple capture, but it is one of the most memorable losses on the show. ;) :mrsilver:

So far, it looks like Great Seal is winning this one by a landslide. I love Great Seal though and glad to see it winning. I could never get tired of this episode or Kamehameha. :mrsilver: The Paintbrush is right about Robbie and Tina are more to be blamed for losing, especially with Tina running into the Gargoyle Room. And you can't blame the late temple guard in the Dungeon either because it would've happened either way. But I still find this layout to be toughthough. The shortest path that Robbie and Tina could've taken still had them entering 8 rooms. The reason I like Kamehameha slightly better is because the ending was pretty tragic while Great Seal's was pretty humorous. Both runs are entertaining though, so I don't mind if either wins this poll. ;)

Great Seal definitely deserves to win this poll more. Kamehameha was too flawed for me. Way too many avoidable mistakes were made, while Nick and Shay just couldn't find that half pendant. That was their only mistake, if you can call it one? And I actually think Nick and Shay would've won had Shay been taken out one room away, and Nick had to retrace her steps. I think a win really could've been pulled off.

They definitely could've won in Great Seal. Shay kept a good pace in the temple and didn't get turned around like half of the Season 1 girls. She would've been taken out with 1:15-1:30 left and Nick would've blazed through the temple and pick up where she left off with around 45 seconds left and win it. They were a strong team and didn't do anything wrong despite losing. And there was no Well elevator to slow them down. So I agree, Nick and Shay really would've won.  :mrsilver:

Yeah, Shay and Nick didn't make any mistakes. It was just the lack of half pendant that did them in. And you know Season 1 producers and their NOT hiding half pendants. Robbie and Tina only had one pendant, so they had to be extra careful with what they did in the temple. Nick and Shay moved very swiftly in the temple, so they definitely would've won if they had started in the Gargoyle Room instead. :mrsilver:
