Kirk also mentioned that the team was going to "retrieve one of Galileo's Cannonballs and return it to its rightful owner".  So, he fixed that mistake for the Dead Man's Hand episode.  Thus, Galileo was filmed immediately before DMH.

The only other episode in which Kirk says that is "The Golden Cup of Belshazzar", supposedly the first episode taped.

Since Galileo must have filmed before Dead Man's Hand, that just makes DMH even weirder (referring to contestants by their full names, etc).

Both of these episodes take the exact same path through the temple except the artifact is closer in the Collar episode. Also, both episodes feature the same 4 teams making it across the moat. The Cosarara moat crossing was HEAVILY editted. Finally, the tag on the Collar was indeed a full pendant of life.

Kirk: Let's hear it for the Silver Snakes!

And in Ponce de Leon and the Lost Fountain of Youth, the girl on the Green Monkeys was Jessica Hill.  I didn't catch her partner's name thou. (And I've seen the episode three times, too!)
